Links Oktober 2018 mit ~76kg flach und dünn (ohne Pump) Rechts Januar 2020 mit 98,9kg flach und dick (ohne Pump) Die Lichtverhältnisse sind sehr ehrlich und relativ ähnlich. Ich denke die optischen Veränderungen sprechen für sich. Beine sehen in der Realität deutlich leaner aus, die Haare nehmen aber auch viel von der Form. Ich weiß normalerweise werden diese Transformationsbilder immer andersrum dargestellt aber ich denke einige könnten sich bestimmt besser fühlen wenn sie sehen, das sie nicht die einzigen Mastschweine in der Offseason sind. Außergewöhnliche Ergebnisse erfordern außergewöhnliche Maßnahmen. Und mittlerweile bin ich mir absolut sicher bei einem zukünftigen Cut deutlich mehr Muskelmasse aufs Parkett bringen zu können. Crazy how I look so fit and healthy now but suffer from a lot pain every day... Dont ever assume you know someones history or future. As someone with an invisible disease, I can tell you that expectations are often set very high and the request for accommodation is even more so of a struggle. Ive proven countless times that I can push beyond the constraints of my illness and maybe that has backfired in a way because now people expect me to be some kind of superwoman (really just a basic regularly functioning human) that I am not. I struggle and I struggle hard to be awesome each day. Hell, I still think Im pretty cool even when I can only manage to sit up for a few minutes. Im posting this outwardly to ask that anyone who interacts with me lately and/or soon, please be patient with me. Seems like Im on a downward spiral and Im currently seeking help. Im not superwoman and right now Im a barely functioning girl. Im stressed about my health and loss of treatment due to my lack of insurance. 15 year body comp. In both pictures I’m 315lbs. On the left a 21 year old college Junior playing football (and Cupid) on the right a 36 year old has been trying to feel good. It’d be interesting to see data on the muscle mass added in this time. During this time I recall yo-yo dieting about every other year weighing: 335, 260, 285, 308, 335, 365, 400+, and now 315 again. This is the healthiest my body (aside from my spine) has felt since right after college. I don’t know what’s next, if I’ll ever compete, if I’ll ever train normally, if I’ll ever hit goals I set almost a decade ago I was dead set on reaching that now seem impossible. Well I have to admit it’s bittersweet. Day 10 has of the #accountabilitychallenge has come and gone. Initial weight of the #integritychallenge was 260.8lbs. Final weight after both challenges is 222.0lbs. 38.8lbs in all! I wanted to be in the 40lb club and could have done it if I hit the sauna but I wanted this to be natural. It was a great challenge made by @mitch_aguiar and the people at @masf_industries. Thanks for the opportunity to learn about myself and giving a mental test accompanied by amazing weight loss results. He’s not lying when he says “mindset is everything”. Around 88,0kg during W1 of my 14th mesocycle since my last competition. Took some photos this morning and selected the poses which looked best. Every other mandatory pose is lagging behind imo. Working really hard to get on this bb stage in either 2021 or 2022. The goal is to get in the best shape possible and be somewhat competitive. At least not get dwarfed lol. Don’t get me wrong. I’m extremely happy with the progress I’ve made the last years. But if you’re a natural bodybuilder and you didn’t blew up like crazy in the first couple of years of proper training and eating you will most likely feel (or even be) undersized in comparison to the elite (who win classes/shows) for the majority of your career. That’s normal. Don’t let that discourage you. Weight and Crappy Physique update: 233.4lbs 9/23/2020 15lb weight loss since last Monday, 9/14. Last one of these I posted was on May 30th when I was nearing the 200lb mark on the scale. Slowly getting back down in weight while working on putting the strength back on. Cutting has been going good so far, definitely better than when I was binging on food last month. It’s also worth noting that up until 2 weeks ago I was still stuffing my face at weekends as well, so it just goes to show what daily walks and reduced calories can do for you the rest of the time. Even if you only have a home gym, with some key bits of equipment you can do the same job as a commercial one. The real key is you have to want to do it in the first place. *Long Post* Adapt and Overcome. Honestly, this year has been one hell of a roller coaster, and honestly when Nick and I started working together it was in the middle of a pandemic, and we didn’t know when gyms were going to be open in New Jersey. June rolled around, and DE had reopened their gyms, so I would make the hour drive, 5 days a week down there to train. It wasn’t ideal, but it was all about making the best out of a shitty situation, and home workouts just weren’t cutting it anymore. I needed to touch some iron. 😂 Then when PA opened up their gyms. There was some light being shed on the situation. Things were getting better. We could finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, and that’s when we made some serious progress to not only getting stronger but also my whole body composition changing. Fast forward to now, it’s only been about 3 weeks or so since New Jersey opened up their gyms, and honestly i could not be happier, because to some of us that are seriously into weight lifting or bodybuilding. This is our escape from reality. This is “our time”. This is the 1-2 hours a day we get to unwind, and de stress from the rest of the world. In this moment nothing else matters but the weights and i. Now in no way shape or form am I saying that I’m better then anyone else. That’s not the point of this post. The point is, if you have a goal that you want to achieve what ends are you going to go to make that happen. Are you going to roll over and flop on the deck like a fish or are you going to do everything in your power possible to make sure the work still gets done? It doesn’t matter what your start point is, just fucking start. The photos on the left were from 73 weeks ago, the day I decided to hand everything over to @joejefferycoaching I honestly didn’t even want to send over the pictures, I was so embarrassed by them... but from 511 days ago, I have got better, every single day. I couldn’t pose (still can’t 😂), was scared to eat too much, was training far too much, stressing about everything, not sleeping enough, everything was wrong. Yet I STILL used to moan about everything...complain about my genetics, think I couldn’t be doing anything better, yet I wasn’t even nailing the basics like sleep. I have ticked every box, for 73 weeks, and here are the results. They, in my opinion, are clear to see... 10lbs heavier on the right, body composition worlds apart. (Homeless 4 years ago vs now).... Im not gonna lie, a part of me was embarrassed to share this picture, but i thought... if i could inspire just one person, then ive won. . The first picture was taken 4 years ago during my homeless period living in my car for a while. It was the hardest period of my life. I was losing my hair along with all hope in the world. I remember every day eating asda rice pudding cans and studying for my PT course that took me 2 years to complete. . Although id never wish my experience on anyone, i have zero regrets and would not have changed a thing. I wear the scars of my struggle with pride because it reminds me why i work so hard. .Life can be very cruel at times and may seem impossible to manage, but there is always a light at the end of every tunnel. Um dos questionamentos que mais recebo nos feedbacks de clientes é exatamente este: “Estou fazendo tudo certo, mas meu peso não mudou nada!!” Parem de se autoavaliar como um pedaço de carne vendido a kg no açougue. As mudanças na sua composição corporal nem sempre serão palpáveis pela massa corporal bruta e suas variações. Você tem outros tecidos no seu organismo que o compõem, além do tecido adiposo, como a massa muscular e líquidos corporais, por exemplo. E todos eles influenciam na sua massa corporal. Inclusive alguns de forma bem aguda. A percepção visual pode muitas vezes te enganar também. Em um indivíduo mais condicionado fica mais fácil perceber a mudança, como na foto. Porém em uma pessoa que ainda apresenta um percentual de gordura com dobras elevadas, esta percepção pode enganar. Por isso foque no que está fazendo!! I was having a conversation with someone the other day and they kept trying to tell me I had “good genetics” and that’s a large reason that I’m in solid shape. They wouldn’t accept the fact that for most part of the year, I’m virtually perfect across the board in terms of inputs & outputs(with exception of times that pulling back is necessary). ❕ ⠀⠀⠀ If you know me, I’m hardheaded as fuck. It’s never been about getting thin. It’s always been about being the healthiest version of myself, however that looks! And that includes taking care of my mental health. - - I’ve done the most extreme diets along with working out 7 days a week... I’ve eaten whatever the hell I wanted paired with not working out at all. Neither of those things above work for my mental health. I’m not going to diet to death just to get a “perfect” body but I will go through phases of dialing in my clean macros IF that is what is going to support me in that moment. - - You see, there are people that actually enjoy counting macros forever! and there are people who enjoy intuitive eating. I am both. There is no wrong way. Find your way! - - Right now I am intuitively eating and lifting 2-3 days a week but finding some sort of movement everyday. My muscles don’t feel as full as they have been in the past but I’m totally ok with that. Is your effort in the gym matching your results? Okay so this is predominantly aimed at my fellow female sisters here, but guys can take note to! Let me paint a picture of a girl who at the start of her #gymjourney was hardly eating (dieting meant 800 calories or “no carbs” all the fads!) and 2 hour gym sessions of either circuit class, spinning or running on the treadmill.. Can you see the trend here? Cardio .. Cardio .. oh yeah and a bit more Cardio! I feared the weights room because “Weights are for men and make you manly” .. no they don’t! And I lacked the knowledge to know what the heck to do in there so sticking to the safe cardio zone felt better! However the cardio and extreme diet left me looking skinny and I had hardly any muscle and for me I went to the gym to look toned and it was doing the opposite! I opened my world to the weights room and when I did I never looked back! My body changed beyond what I’d ever thought! I gained some muscle (I finally got the butt I wanted.. bonus!) and in turn the way my body composition improved meant I looked leaner at a heavier weight! I think I can push to 180lbs in this next push. Something I haven’t done since university. ⁣ ⁣ I am a massive believer in progressively taking your BW up to new territory in order to achieve new levels of muscularity. I am definitely not afraid of getting uncomfortable with the way I look as I know how to pull it all off. ⁣ ⁣ The common mistake I see a lot of people is the ability to remain uncomfortable for a prolonged period of time. I often say you will make your best progress when you’re at your most uncomfortable physique. ⁣ ⁣ Spend less time worrying about your look in the off-season. Macros are the same – 📍Macros/Calories: 1850kcal – 56f – 180c – 155p . 📍Lifting split: 5 days a week – 2 Leg days, Back/Arms, Shoulders, Chest/Arms 📍Cardio: currently 20 minutes daily + extra outside walk if I am working from home . 📍NOTE: I don’t usually do this much cardio but since I am less active working from home 😅I need to get my TDEE up a bit so I can keep calories higher. When you train legs you need to be absolute focused and intense with your training (just like any other body part, really). For quads, I pretty much stick with -quad extension -leg press -squat variations For hams, you already know -curl -curl -pretty much any curl BUT the most underrated exercise that I started doing more of to give my legs a bigger appearance are -adductors I’ve tried many different splits and ways to go about leg training, but some of my best lifts and best results come from training the whole leg on the same day, about every 5 days. Well, I’m small as fuck 😂 Had a blast this past weekend just getting to watch and learn how these two dudes train. @samokunola has won several world championships in natural bodybuilding, and has given me a look into my possible future, and man I’m excited. Training session coming soon :) @jared_feather is the chief contest prep coach over at @rpstrength so yea, goals am I right? He’s also a huge inspiration to me academically as he’s achieved a masters in exercise physiology, very similar to want to achieve. Both of these guys are absolute monsters and work under RP and are both insanely knowledgeable on optimal training and nutrition methodology, and couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. At this point I am tbd on weeks out. @johnjewett3 put together a plan for me that included some changes, including an increase to the baseline diet and reduction in pm cardio sessions being that we are now at least ten weeks from the first scheduled show. Can I just say, you never know what someone’s going through. Someone can be all sunshine and smiles but battling internal demons no one knows anything about. From as young as I can remember, I’ve had really bad self esteem/body dismorphia issues so tbh it’s hard as HELL posting stuff like this that leaves me even slightly vulnerable. But that changed when I got a message the other day and she was telling me how my last transformation post inspired her to start a healthy lifestyle and changed her life around and girl did it touch my heart. The fact that my vulnerability and progress helped inspire someone made my demons shut the hell up. *flashback friday😱* guys the photo on the left is from 2015😳5 whole years ago wtf!! That was already 2 years into my weight loss journey. I was fairly lean & had a lot of upper body muscle bc I literally trained shoulders and triceps everyday I was obsessed 😂😂 Clearrrrly some of my priorities have changed!
