*INSPIRATIONAL POST* My name is Travis Bellamy I’m 27 years old and I have Cerebaol palsy. ◦ Dispite my disability, one of my favourite things to do is going to the Gym which I have been doing for four years now. Due to my cerebral palsy I need help in my day to day life. One of my favourite things about going to the gym is pushing myself and proving to the world that disabled people are capable of doing what abled body people can, with some determination. In February of this year one of my carers got me to try the rowing machine, unfortunately I can’t grip stuff as the muscles in my hands and the rest of my body have involuntary movements. So I decided to try using the wrist straps so I can maintain momentin. The first time that I rowed l only did a hundred meters which took me about ten minutes , since February I have been rowing at least once a week. When I reached four k’s Adam the owner said he would write something about me on their social media. I’m someone who enjoys pushing themeselvs so I took Adam up on his challenge. On Wednesday the 29th of july when l went to the gym, I told Adam that I was going to do the 4 km’s. It took me half an hour to hit 4 km’s but I thought that 5km’s sounded better. even though I was sore and tired, I pushed myself and did 5km’s Life through has it challenges and it’s ups and downs ,it’s up to us how we face and overcome those challenges. ....
