🏃🏾‍♂️ SPARTAN RACE #TBT 🏃🏾‍♂️ Had it not been for the current #pandemic I probably would be doing my 3rd consecutive #SpartanRace over at #CitizensBankPark this weekend 🏃🏾‍♂️ As a #footballplayer 🏈 and a track and field sprinter ⚡️ I was never one for distance runs, (and I’m still not lol), I remember telling the track coach in high school and college anything over 200 meters is #longdistance to me 😂 But my guy @kmitten6 talked me into doing my first race a couple years ago, and it got me hooked! Training for this race forced me to get out of my comfort zone so I had to overcome a fear/weakness I had toward distance running. Everyday doesn’t need to be ultraaaaa heavy! The program read heavy but I assessed and made the decision to keep it a little lighter and snappier without feeling pain in the bicep. Also I got to test out the new Ultra Athlete knee sleeves ☺️☺️ they are legit! 【オールジャパン備忘録後編】 決勝進出の6人に残りステージ裏でいよいよ最後のパンプアップ!ふとスマホを見ると予選から来られていたある有名トレーナーさんから「もっと張るはず。パンプで息上げて。ボディビルの規定ポーズでアップだよ」といったメッセージを頂いていました。そうなんだ、やってみよう! そんな訳で、フィジークのステージ前にボディビルの規定ポーズをしていた私は変なヤツと思われたかも知れません笑。でもおかげ様でカラダは良く張りました😙 結果は3位で(ここはアッサリ)、優勝は連覇中の田村さんではなく名古屋のカトちゃんさん。大番狂わせでカトちゃん自身も驚いていました笑笑。私は優勝を狙っていたので少しばかり残念でしたが、初出場で3位もなかなか、今年はここまででいいだろうと。 そんなオールジャパンを終え、千葉から車を出してくれた20年来の友人青木さんと大阪の街に。まずはタコ焼きとビール。う、うまい!その後は串揚げ屋、ピザ屋をハシゴしてフラフラしながらホテルに戻りました(青木さんはディープな夜の街に消えていきました) 旅の思い出ってふとした場面が印象深かったりするもので、今回はコンテスト翌朝、ホテルのランドリールームで乾燥機を回していた時の音や日差しや匂いをよく覚えています。妙に穏やかで、心からホッとした瞬間だったのかも知れませんね。いい朝だな、みたいな。乾燥機シートの香りが好きなのもありますかね。 そんな訳で2019年オールジャパン備忘録は今回で最後。最後までお読み頂きましてありがとうございました。 - @sekiguchi.takao on Instagram

Coach tem que ter um corpo atlético? Na minha opinião DEVERIA! Vou explicar: Não treinamos por boa aparência e sim por saúde! E um corpo legal é reflexo de saúde ! Se você come carnes, vegetais e sementes, algumas frutas, pouco amido e nenhum açúcar. Se alimenta para suportar atividade física e não aumentar gordura corporal inevitavelmente vai ter um “shape” legal. Sim, estar em forma não é sinônimo de ser um bom treinador. Mas estar em forma é dizer que você faz o que vende, acredita no que faz e que seu trabalho funciona inclusive em você. Um dentista por mais conhecimento que tenha deve ter um sorriso legal, você precisa transmitir credibilidade e esse é o ponto. Não estou falando de ser um super atleta, de competir ou se parecer um atleta do games. O fato é que se você faz CrossFit, vende CrossFit deve expressar em você e no seu corpo CrossFit. Qualquer pessoa ( e Coach) que come de forma adequada 80% do tempo e treina de 3 a 4 vezes por semana vai estar com boa aparência ( isso é fato é não da para mudar). Uns levam meses outros anos, mas consistência vai fazer você ter os gominhos queira ou não. Se você não os tem , não come direito, não treina direito ou os dois. Logo, aparência não quer dizer conhecimento. Agora conhecimento sem aparência nesse caso quer dizer que é do “faça o que eu falo e não o que eu faço”. Um Coach ensina por exemplo dizem, seria legal ser um exemplo de CrossFitter. Não precisa ser atleta, precisa saber , aplicar o conhecimento em qualquer pessoa inclusive VOCÊ. Conhecimento não aplicado não vale nada! Aplique primeiro em você! Coma o melhor possível, treine com consistência e sua barriga vai ficar legal! Não faça pela barriga! Faça pq acredita no CrossFit! Pq faz o que vende e pq CrossFit funciona. Mas Renato, você bebe vinho o tempo todo! Isso faz parte dos 20% em que saio do ideal. O “segredo” é ser consistente nos treinos, alimentação e estudos. I know not everyone is out there doing handstands so this isn’t THAT relatable but it’s my reality haha. . First one back!!!🏅 . After a marrrrvellous relaxing week off @benjamin.j.allen24 and I hit the gym today for what seemed like an easy workout. Yeah, no. After round one we had to drop our weights down (they were already light) and there was a lot of swearing involved🤯 . With a lot of us heading back to gyms and trying to sink into a somewhat normal routine, we may be surprised at how hard we find things that are seemingly easy. . When this happens, dont throw in the towel and have a tantrum (I did this in round 2 of 5). Если у вас много умственной нагрузки: офисная, сидячая работа – вам всегда необходимо делать промежутки для отдыха и предоставлять мозгу возможность отдохнуть. После рабочего дня попробуйте пройтись быстрым шагом или пробежаться, потратив на это 20-30 минут, и вы заметите невероятный результат. Ваш организм сбросит всё не нужное, кровь разгонится по организму, сердце начнет лучше работать. MOTIVATION . How do I stay motivated to train so much? Truth is, I dont! Nobody is motivated every single day to train. Some days you are and some days youre not (Swipe to see a facial representations - happy and motivated, slowly losing it and lost it 🤣) . There is no secret to getting motivated either, sorry🙃 You just have to get up and get it done! . Think of it this way, Id imagine youre not always motivated to get up out of bed to go to work everyday? But you get up and do it because you have to. Similarly, Id imagine you dont jump for joy to go for your food shop but you get up and do it anyway because you have to. . So why would you not just get up and do it antwhen it comes to youre own health, fitness and goals!?🤷‍♀️ You cant sit back and wait for motivation, youll be waiting for a very long time! You have to just get up and get it done because you have to! . The hardest part is the initial getting up and starting but as soon as you start your session you will feel so glad that you did! Once you start to feel and see results you will feel more motivated each day and will also be creating a habit and building your self discipline (think is self discipline as a muscle, the more you work it the bigger it grows and stronger it becomes!) 💪 . Ok, was war das bitte für ein Wochenende? 😂 Am Samstag ging’s es für mich nach #Berlin und heute hatte ich einen Dreh. 📽 Einen Dreh für einen großen deutschen Automobilhersteller, für einen TVC, also Fernsehwerbung. 📺😳 Ich habe hier eine eigene Szene bekommen und das wird nächstes Jahr im Fernsehen zu sehen sein. 😳🤩 Mehr darf ich leider nicht verraten. Ich sehe mich selbst nicht als Model, aber ich habe den Job bekommen weil ich ich bin. Weil ich stark bin, Muskeln habe, aber keinen super Sixpack habe, weil ich rote Haare und eine Ausstrahlung habe. Hätte man mir das damals gesagt, als ich meinen Körper und meine roten Haare noch gehasst habe... 🙈 da hätte ich mir viel Leid erspart. Aber so ist nun mal das Leben. Durch dunkle Zeiten muss man selbst gehen. 🙏🏼 Und es ist ein ständiger Lernprozess. Ich bin so happy und dankbar für diese Möglichkeit. 🙌🏼 Und ich bin stolz auf mich. Just working on my fitness. • I know there’s many people on here (myself included) that follow certain people on insta because they want to look like them one day. Truthfully, I’ve been struggling with body image the past couple years & I didn’t even know it. • I’m the kind of girl that will work my ass off, go to the gym for 3 hours & hope to see results in a week... when reality is... it takes months & you know what.. I just told myself this yesterday. I knew that within a week I wouldn’t see results but I just hoped I would. Two crews One family One very long road, again. Starting September 5th we will join the advanture called @thespeedproject. Since we can’t make it to the desert this year, the rules of this DIY TSP are to run wherever we want for 31 hours and 15 minutes. So we thought - what could possibly be better than running those epic 442km from Zagreb to Belgrade? This year, we will be running as 442crew. The idea is to run the route we ran once before from Belgrade to Zagreb, and once again remind everyone what we stand for. For us, this race is more than just a race and its more than just running, its our way of reminding the community we live in that we are all equals. We wish to raise awareness, to cross and question the national borders, and fight against nationalism and xenophobia that are still present in both Serbia and Croatia. We feel its our obligation to share these values within our countries and spread the message of peace and friendship and not only within the running community. Never NOT acting like a kid! I love taking classes at @the_mvmnt_society in Old Town Alexandria, because it gives me such great cardio variety that is so fun. They have a bounce class that uses a trampoline for a fun cardio class, a bosu ball class that torches your whole body, cardio dance classes, and traditional sculpt classes to build lean muscle. It has a little of very thing. Right now, they are doing an exceptional job to create a safe workout space. Classes are very small, masks are required in the studio, and they are constantly cleaning to ensure the studio environment is safe for a great workout. After all, sufficient daily protein intake will ensure the body has baseline levels of the amino acid building blocks it needs to restore tissue and avoid muscle loss. But the other most important factor that should be at the top of every women’s list when planning her protein intake: EAT GRASS FED BEEF. There are too many benefits to list in one post, but I will touch on one specific benefit today; CLA. Youll find yourself getting 500-800 milligrams of CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) from a 4-ounce serving of grass-fed beef. This amount is approximately two to three times greater than the amount found in non grass-fed beef. CLA is a fatty acid made from linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid commonly found in food. However, CLA is unique in its chemical structure, and this uniqueness is associated with an increasing list of health benefits, including immune and inflammatory system support, improved bone mass, improved blood sugar regulation, reduced body fat, reduced risk of heart attack, and maintenance of lean body mass. I’m finally back to my STRONG self! Over 1.5 months ago I was in a hospital bed unable to lift my body to walk to the bathroom. I couldn’t plank, walk at a normal pace and I lost 10lbs to name a few setbacks. I was really nervous to come back to teaching RSM and even more nervous to teach SoulCycle out here in the Hamptons. I wasn’t sure how my body would react. I NEED my body to do my job. So, I went slow, took loads of naps, started eating MEAT again (yes, I was vego for almost 2 years- a story for another time), and spent time working on my new mindset. The best advice I gave myself is to actually listen to my body. If a food doesn’t make me feel good, I no longer eat it. I drink at least 3 liters of water a day, and more if I am drinking alcohol. And sleep. Sometimes I just have to close the door to my room and tell everyone I’ll see them tomorrow. 26 weeks !!! 💙💙💙 ———————————- Yesterday I had a routine antenatal appointment. As per usual, I took a pot of wee with me and my maternity notes tucked under my arm ready to present to my midwife.📝 I sat myself down in a waiting room with 6 other pregnant ladies all with their masks on, sat in silence. 🤫 ——— Our boy is measuring off the ‘normal’ curve for expected growth size at 26 weeks. ——— I personally am not worried at all, the hospital have requested a gestational diabetes test for me based on this ‘larger’ figure. ——— I think it’s very easy for anxiety to creep in. However one measurement doesn’t give a comparison. Our boy could be laying a certain way hence a larger measurement. We are happy to get measured again at 28weeks and see his growth rate for him. ——- Anyway I broke the silence and talked to the other ladies. With masks on it seems to me people talk less to each other. Like a barrier of speech. I had a lovely conversation talking to another pregnant mother which for me brings shared experiences and reassurance to one another. ~ “Men’s arms, wtf. It’s nasty. Women’s arms aren’t vascular. Looks gross. Women with masculinity are disgusting.” ~ These are just a few of the comments I’ve received recently. I know I shouldn’t let it get to me, but these particular words do hit home. A few years ago, after watching me climb, two first-time female climbers at my gym walked out after loudly declaring they never wanted their arms to look like mine. It was such a sad experience and it’s stuck with me ever since; to think that these girls had possibly given up on an amazing sport because appearance was such a concern. But it makes sense. There is so much pressure to look a certain way, while body shaming and bullying are unfortunately way too common. But you know what...forget that! We don’t exist to please anybody else. Our bodies aren’t objects to be judged by looks, they’re designed to function and do glorious things! My arms give me the ability to climb steep cliffs, hoist heavy sails, paraglide off mountain peaks, and give my friends the biggest hugs! I am grateful everyday to be healthy and strong! If someone doesn’t like that, it’s really their issue. And if anyone else out there has been judged or shamed or feels insecure, I hope you know the problem isn’t you! Keep being you, do the things that make you happy, and love what you’ve got! Ból - od około dwudziestu lat uprawiania sportu jest nieodłączną częścią mojego życia. Bardzo prawdopodobne, że przez to jak jest mi bliski, mój stosunek do niego jest zupełnie inny niż większości społeczeństwa. Do tej pory bardziej bałem się stagnacji, braku postępów, niż urazu. Jednak przyszedł czas, że to właśnie kontuzje powstrzymują mnie przed progresem. W poprzedni weekend ból nie był nadzwyczajny, ruch w kolanie był ograniczony ale to nie było coś z czym do tej pory nie miałem styczności. Po prostu już nie mogłem tego znieść. Nie chciałem z tym walczyć. Pewnie jakiś czas temu wycofanie się z zawodów uznałbym za porażkę i czułbym się niemęsko, teraz uważam to za mądry ruch mimo, że różne myśli chodzą mi po głowie. Are you root-bound? This is a term used with plants that stay in their pots too long. They stay in a certain size pot for so long that their roots begin to grow in circles inside the pot instead of growing deep in the soil allowing the plant itself to grow and flourish. A plant that is root-bound stays the same size & wont grow to its full potential and will choke itself to a paralyzing state....much like us humans . The way to break this cycle may sound harsh but you take the plant from the small pot and take a knife and cut & break up the circular roots vertically to allow it to break the cycle of circular, repetitive growth. It’s only when this pain is inflicted on the roots that it truly becomes alive and is free to grow sturdy roots that reach more minerals and nutrients below the depths of soil it’s been exposed to & it then has the strength and power to grow big, strong, beautiful and to its full potential . So the phrase “If you’re not growing, you’re dying” is factual . @anwnation premieres today, but I will not be on this season! Because of the pandemic, the show had to adjust their shooting schedule and cast to protect everyone involved. I understand the choice but it has definitely been a bummer. I have every intention of reapplying next year, but the whole experience has been a bit of a trip. . . . That said, I’m always grateful for my @hitsquad_ninja__gym family. They’ve been there for me this whole dark time, and being able to still train (in a different way than normal) has helped me keep my spirits up. Running has always helped me get out of my head, but ninja always creates a fun challenge for me. Training to overcome obstacles isn’t always fun, but it does always end up making me happy. Stress management😣. . Do you incorporate that in your plan ? . Do you even think about it when your calculating your fitness goals. Sometimes stress management can be just as important as your actual workout and diet. . I’ve seen clients shoot up 10lbs in a week from not getting enough sleep (water retention). . And I’ve seen clients struggle with their fat loss because they can’t get their cortisol under control. . The list can go on and on... stress levels (cortisol) can destroy your progress if your not careful. . So here are some tips and things that can help manage your stress levels... . ✨Make sure your getting enough sleep! This is probably the biggest and most important in my book! ✨Don’t over train... listen to your body. If your run down, take a rest day. (Or talk to your coach! We can help 😉) ✨Don’t over work yourself!! You can’t pour from an empty cup... give yourself a break sometimes. A little goes a long way! ✨Relaxing activities! Meditation, reading a book, watching your favorite TV show... our own activities we personally like to do to unwind can help lower stress levels. ✨Stay hydrated. ✨Get out in nature. ✨And one thing I highly recommend if your a chronic over-thinker, do some work around your thoughts and mindset. Sit with your thoughts, address them and work through them. Journaling is my way of doing this! (Got that from my therapist 😉). . Our society forces us to think “Go, Go, Go!” Is the only way to be successful. The more work your doing the better... well that’s not the case when your body fight’s back is it ? . Now don’t take this as an excuse to be lazy and slack on your meals and workouts!! But seriously think about what you do to relieve your stress. 💖 The power to change your life lies in the simplest of steps 💖 Seitdem mein Urlaub mir etwas zu stressig war und ich das Gefühl hatte, ich konnte nicht wirklich entspannen, hab ich einige Dinge geändert: Sonntags lasse ich, wenn möglich, den ganzen Tag mein Handy aus, nach der Arbeit lasse ich den TV und mein WLAN aus, ich meditiere kurz vorm einschlafen und ich habe angefangen zu lesen und höre mir Podcasts an über positives Denken usä. Erstaunlich wie viel mehr Zeit man auf einmal hat, wenn das Handy mal aus der Sichtweite bleibt 😅🙈 Auch wenn ich durch meine 2 Jobs viel arbeite und immer irgendwie gestresst war, weil ich abends noch mein mealprep für den nächsten Tag fertig machen muss und rechtzeitig ins Bett wollte, bin ich inzwischen ganz entspannt was das angeht, weil ohne Handy zwischendurch viel mehr Zeit übrig ist 🙂 Mein mindset erweitert sich durch das Lesen, ich denke anders und bin innerlich viel ruhiger 🙂 Diese 6 Tage Woche, war trotz Überstunden, bis jetzt recht entspannt und ich fühl mich bestens und bin noch voller Energie 😬🤗💪 #positivemindset#positivevibes#happy#newlifestyle#newwayofthinking#becomebetter#naturelover#summertime - @yvonne.dittmer on Instagram

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to quit. . This week was a challenge in every way. I traveled. I’m still nursing an injury. I’m mentally and physically exhausted. And emotionally all over the place. . This program, that I’ve finished TWICE before has just straight kicked my tail. It’s flipping hard and I’m struggling. Tuesday and Wednesday were the hardest days and I wondered if it was a good time to switch programs. . This morning on VERY LITTLE sleep, I almost skipped because I’m in the HARD. I’m in the thick of HARD. . I’m standing ON TOP of my step because I’m this HARD, and despite all the obstacles this week, I’ve WON! Because I didn’t quit. And I’m not going too. . I know what this program can do for me. I know mentally I NEED this program. This program is about a transformation, and it’s not about a physical one. But how you can transform from the inside out, while you BATTLE! . So, here I am. Battling. Fighting. And not quitting. . Don’t quit on you. Keep fighting. #20RBGpushups Justice Ginsburg famously worked out with her trainer Bryant Johnson two days a week since 1999. When her short stature was mocked once years ago, her late husband Marty came to her defense declaring, My wife can 20 pushups! Can YOU do 20 push-ups?!” To honor her we finished this morning’s TRX Sweat workout with 20 push-ups. I did mine on the straps since my wrist can’t handle them on the ground. I filmed another 20 afterward for this post and was too fatigued to stay under the anchor. You can see how I modified my later reps by reducing my angle to what I could handle in my state. RBG may have been in her late 80s, working long hours, and dealing with pancreatic cancer (for the 2nd time and also after beating colorectal cancer already), but she kept working out at an intensity that worked for her. May we all strive for the greatness we are all capable of. Thanks for fighting for ALL of us, Justice Ginsburg. ❤️💪🏿💪🏾💪🏽💪🏼💪🏻 Update: People are joining in! I’m saying peace out to my implants ✌🏻. Tomorrow morning I meet with my doctor to determine which surgery route we are going with. I’m literally beyond excited to get these toxic bags out of my body. They’ve been living inside of me for 15 years. I know, I know, it’s a long time and I’ll help you do the math. . When I was 18 years old, yep, I said 18 - I got implants. I was that self-conscious, flat chested girl who dreamed of having curves. I was told I had a “little boys” body. I heard this from the people closest to me. Those comments hurt me and clearly stayed with me. I was made fun of when I’d lean forward and you’d see the gape from my bra to chest. The gape was there because I was usually wearing a double padded bra or a bra much too big for me. I felt like it was impossible to find flattering clothes for my not so prominent chest. Who else remembers the gel chicken cutlets? I owned my fair share of those cutlets in my early days. . So by the time I was 18 I had already made up my mind. The money was saved. The surgery was booked. . Again, it’s all a part of my journey but a chapter I am so happy to be closing. . Through the years I’ve started to really dislike having implants. I stopped wearing low cut tops. I began desiring that flat chest that once embarrassed me. I desired to have MY body back. To just be me. . And this began before breast implant illness was a big thing. To be honest I don’t really think I have any signs of BII. But when I dug into the cases of BII I felt sick to my stomach that I did this to my body. Removing these foreign objects from my body feels like the best reward I can give myself. . So I’ll be starting 2021 looking a little different and I can’t wait. It’s crazy what healing, confidence, and a whole lot of self love can do. . Anyone else have a journey with explanting? . . I thought that so long as I just put the work in, I would never have to deal with any setbacks or obstacles. So long as I had a positive mindset... nothing could hurt me. Its funny how wrong I was about that. One of the hardest lessons Ive had to learn is that sometimes, even despite our hardest efforts, we may still not succeed. And sometimes, even on the days that are meant to be perfect, were still going to struggle, and face hardships. And this is a lesson Ive had to learn, and learn, time and time again. Im actually in the process of relearning this lesson right now, which is why Im writing this post. But what I have told myself in the past, and what I am telling myself today, is that: Even though you cannot change the events that happen, you can change how you react to them. Instead of allowing these challenges to bring you down, instead of giving up, You need to use these moments to move forwards, to grow and to find new power. Because it is when you are at your lowest, that you realize how strong you truly are. And no matter what happens, the one thing you need to make sure is that that you just keep going. Удивительно! Мы приехали в Турцию на концерт и еще на 3 дня для перезагрузки, я успешно поймала несколько раз себя в моменте, но сегодня был мокрый день. Я просто рыдала у басейна . Update!!! 4 Monate intuitive Ernährung Ohne Verbote Ohne wiegen Ohne tracken Diese Lebensumstellung, ist so tief in mir drin verankert, dass es nicht darum geht ein Ziel zu erreichen. In den letzten vier Monaten habe ich verstanden, dass ich immer das Ziel bin. Es gibt keine Zahl mehr auf der Waage zu erreichen, keine Kalorien zu tracken oder Verbote zum brechen. Es gibt nur mein altes Ich, dass immer wieder mit dem neuen in Konflikt gerät. Um die Spannung aus dem Post zu nehmen, NEIN ich habe weder getrackt noch mich gewogen. Ich weiß nicht ob ich zu oder abgenommen habe. Was ich spüre ist ein deutliches Entschleunigen, ich plane weniger was ich wann und wie essen. Ich empfinde keinen Druck mehr beim Essen gehen, weil ich nicht weiß was an Nährstoffen drin ist. Mein Gelüste auf alles Mögliche werden kleiner und sind zum teilen ganz verschwunden. Ich habe viele neue Seiten an mir und meinem Essverhalten kennengelernt. Die Verbote aufzulösen, sorgt tatsächlich für Entspannung. ABER es gibt Tage an denen es mir natürlich unter den Nägeln brennt. Das sind Tage an denen ich mich fett, hässlich und nicht liebenswert fühle. Wenn ich Stress habe, wenn ich das Gefühl habe meinen Hunger nicht honoriert zu haben (als Gäbe es dafür eine Regeln), an Tagen wo ich wenig Leistung bringen, kurz gesagt an Tagen wo ich mich nicht liebe. Ich habe aber verstanden, dass genau das die Tage sind an denen es vertan wäre der Versuchung nach Kontrolle nachzugeben. Ich würde mich über eine Abnahme nicht freuen aber bei einer Zunahme in meiner Wertlosigkeit bestätigt fühlen. und da ist egal, dass ich es eigentlich besser weiß. Sich sporadisch zu wiegen, ist so aussagekräftig wie eine Wettervorhersage für die nächsten drei Wochen. Es geht darum, meinen eigenen inneren Kritiker zu füttern. Aber ich halte ihn ruhig...einatmen...ausatmen - Du bist immer wertvoll - Du bist immer liebenswert - Du bist schön - Du hast ein recht auf ein gutes Leben - Du kannst alles sein - Dein Körper ist ein Geschenk Meine Leitsätze, meine Matras, mein neues ich, dass es so verdient hat alles Glück und alle Liebe zu erfahren die nur möglich ist.
