After a few near misses these guys would desperately hug the mangrove roots waiting for the water to rise (from low tide to high tide) to take them in deeper, to the safe zone and away from major predators and threats. Bush Key closes seasonally, from the end of January to September to protect the largest nesting colonies of Sooty Terns and Brown Noddies in the continental United States. We invite visitors to enjoy its pristine natural beaches, but please remember to #RecreateResponsibly and practice Leave No Trace principals. Access to Bush Key is open to foot traffic via the land bridge from Garden Key between the hours of sunrise and sunset. Visitors are reminded to stay on the sandy beach to prevent damage to sensitive island vegetation. Please note that vessel landings, fishing and swimming from the beach are prohibited on Bush Key. La licitació de les obres siniciarà just en el moment que el reglament de la mateixa quedi aprovat en sessió plenària, previsiblement el mes de novembre. El regidor de medi ambient, Miquel Lluís Mestre ha assenyalat «quan tinguem la deixalleria en funcionament es podrà tenir un control dels residus al municipi. Es podran instal·lar càmeres de vigilància i entenem que sen farà un ús correcte de les instal·lacions. Els plans de lAjuntament eren aixecar la deixalleria aquest 2020 i deixar la gestió tant de la recollida de fems com del servei de deixalleria municipal pel 2021» ➡️ La previsió al municipi és que hi hagi altres punts verds a més del de Portocolom a la resta de nuclis com són SHorta, Cas Concos i Cala Ferrera. This view will never, ever get old. ☀️🌊🌴 I never get into the water this early in the year. I mean, I rarely get in before Memorial Day much less in April. But there was something about knowing the waves were calming for the first time since the beaches re-opened last Friday that had me up with sun like a kid on Christmas this morning. 🌊🏊🤿☀️ I probably looked a hot mess snorkeling in a wetsuit top out in the water at 8am, but for me, that half hour was spent just they way I needed for it to be spent. PESCA DEL CHINCHORRO. ¿Qué es la pesca de Chinchorro? Es una forma de extraer peces desde el mar que se realiza de forma artesanal y cultural. Se ponen redes en la boca del río y se sacan a pulso. Los peces capturados son aquellos que vienen desde el mar hacia el río y son de diversas especies, la más recurrente es la corvina, pero también se extraen peces gallo, róbalos, lisas y tollos. Aunque la captura de los productos del mar es cada vez más difícil, los pescadores de la boca del Maipo se niegan a morir: la tradición comenzó por allá por 1840 y se ha ido pasando de generación en generación. A vida é incrivelmente mágica. . Nas minhas andanças com a minha câmera pendurada eu quero mais é registrar o que me conecta, seja lá o que for. . E passeando num lugar onde vivi boa parte da minha infância, assim como grande parte da minha família, resolvi fazer esse registro. . Além da beleza estética, o lugar é ainda mais especial pois nesse local especificamente acontece o encontro do rio com o mar, o doce com o salgado, duas forças que se unem. . Fiz essa foto e sempre adiei o plano de transformar minhas fotos em obras de arte. E esta acabou de ir para produção. A minha primeira, valendo mesmo! . Ainda mais especial é saber que esta obra vai cuidar do sono de um casal muito especial pra mim, meus tios Lú e Mara, que também passaram boa parte da vida (e até hoje) apreciando esse espetáculo da natureza. . Em poucos meses esse casal estará vivendo na casa nova, e junto como eles, uma obra que vai levá-los, todos os dias, direto para esse pedaço de paraíso. . A vida não é maravilhosa? . Він розташований на південно-західній частині однойменного острова 🏝 Зараз це місце входить до території Азово-Сиваського національного природного парку. ⠀ Заснований маяк був ще в 1878 році іноземними майстрами для обслуговування Генічеського порту. Але почав повноцінно діяти тільки в 1882 році. Його висота сягала 24,7 метра 🗼 У той час його оптичне обладнання забезпечувало видимість до 8 миль. В роки Другої світової війни маяк був зруйнований. ⠀⠀⠀ Нова споруда, яка мала висоту 30 метрів, була побудована у вигляді восьмигранної вежі в 1957 році. А в 1984 році її модернізували та встановили нове світлооптичне приладдя. Воно дозволило світити на відстань до 28 кілометрів. ⠀ У 2008 році Бирючий маяк був знову відремонтований 🛠 Сьогодні на ньому безперебійно діє обладнання, яке живить автономна електрична система 💡 ⠀ Як будете влітку відпочивати в Генічеському районі, відвідайте цю величну споруду! ⠀ P.S. Sunday is a lazy day on the Cocos Keeling Islands when the locals kick back, go to the beach or pull out their kites for a day kite surfing the lagoon! But when the call went out to come and help clean up Jetty Beach where a turtle had been found only a few days before entangled in plastic, they headed to the beach to help! It was a very successful morning with 17 volunteers working along the beach and together collected 340 kgs of trash which amounted to more than 13,000 pieces A big net and rope could be seen poking through the sand and this was quickly dug out and dragged back to base. What do you find on a remote island beach? The biggest offenders were polystyrene and foam packaging which came in the highest, with a massive 3,300 pieces, with hard plastics not far behind at 2,781, - 900 straws, 650 thongs, 560 plastic bottles, 813 lids, 777 confectionary sticks, and 420 cotton bud sticks. A fantastic effort and when we looked back at the end of the clean up the beach looked a lot cleaner than before we arrived!
