As canções existem porque sem elas é mais difícil estar vivo. As canções são como chaves que a gente carrega pela vida antes de dar de cara com os cadeados. A obra da Marina, pra mim, é assim. Não é exagero dizer que ter comigo as canções dela, sabê-las de cor, me apropriar delas, já tornou e ainda torna a minha vida fácil. Me identifico com a obra da Marina em lugares muito íntimos para dizer aqui. Tem muita luz e, talvez por isso, muita sombra. A obra da Marina me ensina a lidar com a alegria como o bem precioso e escasso que ela pode ser. A Marina é séria, exigente, rigorosa, mas me parece cuidar muito bem da própria alegria e eu me identifico muito com isso. (Adendo: não sei se a palavra “carnaval” aparece tantas vezes na obra de outro compositor como aparece na dela e talvez você nunca tenha notado). Se o impacto da Marina na minha vida fosse só através da obra, já seria imenso. Mas é mais do que isso. E é também íntimo demais pra dizer aqui. Coisas que ela me disse mudaram e mudarão a minha vida para sempre. @marinalimax1 fez aniversário nesta quinta-feira, mas nem sempre o dia do calendário é o dia em que a gente consegue dizer publicamente as coisas que a gente precisa dizer. One year ago today, we launched the inaugural Toronto Biennial of Art, and over the course of 72 days, TBA provided the public with 215 free programs, performances, and events, and free access to 29 commissions and over 100 artworks across 15 sites. In doing so, we supported artists, participants, and performers from more than 70 places of origin, including 29 Canadian and international First Nations and Indigenous communities, with almost half the Biennial’s participants identifying as Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour. Liebman argued that the term “person” in law describes an entity with legally protected rights to whom others owe a duty of care. Um deles veio da @danielagiovana___ , que na verdade é muita mais que uma colega, foi minha parceira de alguns dos melhores projetos que fiz nos últimos anos. Nos conhecemos na UFRGS, nos formamos juntas, mas acabamos nos aproximando mesmo quando trabalhamos juntas na BG. Anos depois, num momento super difícil, fizemos nossa primeira parceria. Era um projeto da Liquens (❤️) para a Dellano, com montagem em Bento Gonçalves e ela não conseguiria desenvolver sozinha nem estar lá para montar. Quem executaria seria o @grupodca e eles eram maravilhosos, eu podia ficar tranquila. Só que quando o projeto tem Daniela nas picapes ele nunca é um projeto simplinho, então não basta ser maravilhoso, tem que ser excepcional! Desenhei com ela totens, painéis, suportes de TV e bancadas, só que todos em papelão, cheios de encaixes mirabolantes! Ainda bem que o @cristianobuffon e o Allan já eram pós graduados em projetos da Dani (e que eu volta e meia olhava pra cima e pedia uma forcinha extra pro Joel (❤️). O resultado do projeto ficou incrível! Fiz com a DCA mais alguns projetos, mas o que mais me enche de orgulho tem outra vez a Dani como parceira! Desenvolvemos para a Uber-Brasil a convite da @brunaarrieche , diversas peças de mobiliário urbano para o trecho revitalizado da Orla do Guaíba, marcando a adoção da área pela empresa. Totens, bancos, um pin gigante e o nosso Porto Alegre espelhado pelo qual somos apaixonadas! Nossos parceiros não apenas de execução mas também de desenvolvimento de soluções foram os guris da DCA. E quando falo em desenvolver soluções, leia-se aí desenvolver uma tinta similar ao aço cortéin literalmente do dia pra noite, driblar instalações subterrâneas localizadas em locais insabidos ou incertos ou ainda desinstalar uma peça gigante pra instalar ela novamente no ângulo do melhor pôr do sol possível! Happy to see these three Pony Kids prints hanging in the National Gallery of Ireland @nationalgalleryofireland as part of the Reined In exhibition. They were to be included in the Irish Horse exhibition which had to be cancelled due to Covid. Reined In is a small show of photographs by living artists from Irish Horse curated by Brendan Rooney and runs till November 1st. Lockdown. Stage 3 of COVID-19 in Australia. This enforced lockdown business is a roller coaster. One day its the best thing to happen to my family - the closeness and togetherness has been such a grounding and beautiful time. But the next is Groundhog Day on an entirely new level. Se presentan ordenadas de un modo cronológico haciendo que cada bloque corresponda a un año cronológico y a una estrofa del himno nacional mexicano. Ahead of their August 4 arrival in Botswana, a trip Harry planned to coincide with Meghan’s thirty-sixth birthday. Unwrapping the first of several surprise gifts from Harry on the final leg of their turbo propeller-plane ride, Meghan couldn’t help but smile when she noticed the corner of the canvas painting poking out of the carefully prepared bubble wrapping packaging. As they hit the tarmac at Maun Airport, both immediately felt a sense of relief and excitement. The vacation wasn’t just in celebration of Meghan’s birthday; it was also a milestone of their relationship. The trip stood as a full-circle moment for the couple, a return to the country they had snuck off to just four weeks after meeting in 2016. They were excited to camp out again in the Botswana wilderness under the stars as they had done almost a year earlier to the day. The festivities began the moment they touched down. They were quickly whisked away in blacked-out SUVs to their first location: a night at the home of Harry’s friend Adrian Dandridge, a former jewelry designer he first met during a trip to Botswana in 2004. There, at a rustic guesthouse nestled next to a nearby chili farm in the community area of Tsutsubega, was a surprise birthday party set up and waiting for Meghan. Ravenous after the fifteen-hour journey from London, Harry’s and Meghan’s faces lit up when they were greeted by the smell of flame-grilled fare on a large barbecue and a variety of local foods prepared by Adrian’s wife, Sophie, including Harry’s favorite local dish, seswaa, a beef stew cooked with onion and peppers and served over thick polenta. For Meghan, it was moments like these that defined Harry. No matter where they were, or who they are with, he always did all he could to make her feel important and included. Para mi es muy importante pensar en los detalles, así me han enseñado 🤓 Soy diseñadora de profesión y fui muy chancona y estudiosa en la universidad, me amanecía y decía ¡wow! cuando me gradué jamas me volveré a amanecer... ¿qué creen? Lo sigo haciendo 😅 creo que un diseñador o un artista siempre piensa que su obra puede mejorar y siempre está pensando en cómo hacerlo posible (al menos a mi me pasa). Es por eso que me encanta y disfruto tanto lo que hago, las horas pasan y aveces no me doy cuenta. Si supieran que limpio todos los vidrios de mis cuadros por que me da TOC pensar que alguno pueda estar sucio y reviso todas las cajas a ver si están perfectamente dobladas 📦😂 Amo lo que hago por que es una constante carrera conmigo misma, por que se que siempre puedo dar mas de mi para mi y para ustedes y eso me da una satisfacción que no tiene precio 💖 - @byvalecha on Instagram
