A common trend amongst liberals (and even some conservatives) in Europe is the belief that only USA or less developed countries are stricken by police brutality, or that police in Europe (and other highly developed countries) will always act accordingly to «law and order». That is simply untrue. Whether it’s in Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Canada or Japan, the police will actively utilize violence to always stop the masses - to defend the bourgeoise, the capitalists, imperialists, fascists and their State. . . 🇳🇴 As fast as they need to, the Norwegian police will utilize violence against the masses. When do they ‘need’ to? When the masses are protesting fascism, for example. SIAN (‘Stop the «islamization» of Norway’) is a fascist organization in Norway, who travel around the whole country to spread their fascist ideology. They are accompanied by police with dogs, on horses, with batons, spray, shields and body cameras. They garrison the fascists to most effectively allow them to spread their racist propaganda. The police claim to «defend free speech» (despite Norwegian law prohibiting hate speech and racism), but they don’t let the people protest against. In Oslo only a few days ago, a huge demonstration against SIAN was staged, mostly with radical anti-fascists groups (maoists, anarchists, etc), wherein the police interferred, galloping on horses over the protestors, beating them with batons, spraying them down (several had to go to the hospital due to pain). This isn’t the only time they’ve utilized violence, of course, they do this quite regularily - often they beat up or imprison Maoists, anarchists and other radicals. There are also other examples where the Norwegian police have killed innocent Black people (the case of Eugene Obiora in 2006) or beaten up innocent Black people (the case of Sophia Baidoo in 1999), and in the 70-80s, the city of Bergen was plagued with intense police brutality, as well. Amongst 485 cases where police were reported for their crimes, only 3% got any punishment for their acts. - @popmarxism on Instagram

And officer Tou Chao was the lookout trying distance to shew away witnesses to their crime. FOUR MEN committed murder but only one has been charged. It took ALL FOUR of them to kill George Floyd because ANY ONE of them could have saved his life. As bystanders cried out and begged for his release. These FOUR police officers choose the let George Floyd die. Please stop crying for buildings that can be rebuilt and CRY OUT FOR JUSTICE. Often time its the things you dont see. Detective Specialist Stuart Barksdale came across an elderly female whose wheelchair battery ran empty before she was able to get home. Stu pushed her for several blocks to get her home safe and sound. Stu didnt know he was being photographed, nor did he ask for this to be brought to the publics attention. Not on here to talk about black/white/Asian/Latino. Let talk about human life’s. No human being should be treated like animal regardless if you are a police officer or not. The man was already in cuffs so that means he is no longer a threat. But 3 officer decided to put all their weight on a handcuffed man for more than 10min. I can’t breathe he complained several times, everything hurts he complained several times but they ignored him and told the crowd that were pleading to them to stop to get back. The officer standing even said don’t do drug at some point. The deed is done and now the police department have distanced themselves from this officers, which means they will have to get an expensive lawyer to represent them and pay out of pocket. Which means all their savings/401k/house re-mortgage will all go to the Lawsuit trying to stay out of jail or get lesser time. At the end, they will lose everything trying to prove something to people that don’t matter. Mit ca. 4/5 Jahren bin ich das erste mal aktiv mit Rassismus in Kontakt gekommen. Es hat mich damals genauso getroffen wie heute und war genauso unbegreiflich. Doch da ich zu dem Zeitpunkt noch nicht so viel über diese Welt wusste bin ich davon ausgegangen dass sich dieses Problem irgendwann von alleine löst. Ich hatte/habe so viele Freunde aus allen möglichen Teilen der Welt und konnte mir einfach nicht vorstellen dass wir uns wenn wir mal erwachsen sind Aufgrund unserer Herkunft ernsthaft diskriminieren. Naja, man wird erwachsen... Mittlerweile leben wir in einer Welt in der sowas wie die Geschichte in dem Video gestern, in ein paar Wochen leider schon wieder vergessen wird. Wer denkt das im Jahr 2020 Rassismus kein Thema mehr ist lebt in einer Blase oder ist noch nie ernsthaft damit in Kontakt gekommen. Ich bin grade in einem Alter in dem viele meiner Freunde Kinder haben die bald in das selbe Alter kommen das ich damals hatte und die Vorstellung dass sie in 20/25 Jahren die selbe traurige Erkenntnis haben, weil immer noch Menschen sterben müssen weil Sie anders aussehen, macht mich unfassbar traurig und wütend...
