Its really a great way to increase the upper back extension force to increase upper back mobility. There are 3 difficulty levels here, so if the first one is too easy or is not effective, try the next level! BONUS: Sometimes if you have shoulder or neck pain, targeting the upper back can help provide relief! KEY POINT: Try to keep the lower back flat against the ground throughout these movements and do your best to minimize rib flare. This will guarantee an optimal stress to the targeted region. I know that being a first responder isn’t the most popular career field right now with the current situation, but I wouldn’t change what I do for anything. I’ve been on the job for 14 years and I absolutely love it. Everyday I come to work is an opportunity to help someone. Last week I was on a 5 hour fire at A plastic company and just yesterday I was pulling a guy out of the lake with a broken leg. Being a first responder is a major responsibility and not many people are built for it. So many “experts” with zero experience want to sit back and judge the decisions that are made but take no action. Iranian artists @icyandsot recently took off on another self-initiated mission, inspired by climate activist Greta Thunbergs work and the worldwide environmental movement she has started. Using the vast Californian desert landscape as a dramatic backdrop for their work and activists impactful speech as an alarming wake-up call, Saman and Sasan Oskouei created a riveting video titled Our House is on Fire. ⠀ ⠀ I want you to panic. I want you to act as if your house was on fire. @gretathunberg ⠀ ⠀ In some way turning Gretas inspiring words into poetic reality, Icy and Sot built a frame of an archetypal home and set it on fire. Allowing for the untouched surrounding nature to be seen between the blazing framework of the house, the artists suggest looking at the wider picture in which the Earth is our only home. The video shows the reversed footage of their installation being swallowed by flames and crumbling to the ground, creating an illusion of burning pieces of wood rising up and forming the familiar structure.
