Stress eater PART 1 🗯 I thought today i would talk a bit about the very real issue that is stress eating & eating disorders by telling you a little bit about myself. • It started when I was a teen, my parents told me to be careful because I had gained weight, nothing huge but with my mom being extremely skinny and having a history of anorexia, it became a big deal. • Fast forward a few months, I started my first diet at 14 or 15. Stupid diet prescribed to my sister by her then nutritionist (yeah this was a family thing). I Lost about 4Kgs pretty fast, regained all of it and then some. I Started binge eating mixed with depriving myself from food. Dieted again, meals were one broccoli and one Diet Coke. Lost 4Kg regained 8kg in less than 2 months. Very unhealthy • I Felt fat when I shouldn’t have, entered into a cycle of restriction and bingeing which lasted a long long time. • In 2015 I went to see a nutritionist to lose weight. I was trying to eat healthier already just needed a little help. He made me cut all carbs, all fat, all sugar (Including stuff like carrots) and made me eat basically 80% protein. I lost 5kg, was doing a crazy amount of cardio and developed a fear of carbs. Following that diet my body was craving fat so bad I could have bit into a stick of butter. Grid Intention: THE FOUR ELEMENTS Going to the source of where crystals are found is absolutely transformative. If Ksenia @wokeandwired gets to edit our videos from the trip in the midst of launching her Conscious Social Media Course, you’ll see a vlog from our adventure at the footsteps of mountain Goboboseb in Namibia. Who wants to see it? What we loved about Brandberg Mountain area crystals is their deep complexity. This grid contains the four elements. Earth: Opaque earthy deep Smokey and purple. Air: Crystal clear tips and wispy purple spirit coupled with the air bubbles. Fire: Their layered phantoms, sparkly calcites, hematite inclusions all echo elements of fire along with the rainbows and fractures. Water: The sense of frozen movement and flow. Water trapped in cavities in most of these crystals (known as #enhydro) serves as a vehicle for the movement of air bubbles. There is a primordial energy in this grid that replenishes the creative power. It’s a meeting point of the basic elements of creation and vitality. Africa.
