There is no blueprint for running a college adaptive sports program during a pandemic. This year is not how anyone expected to mark the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). So for now, it’s about the small victories. Jason Scott, assistant professor of Therapeutic Recreation in @utk_krss, spoke with @globalsportmatters about the challenges that the UT Adaptive Recreation program has faced throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and received some helpful advice from five-time Paralympian, @alanathejane.
