A via recebeu terraplanagem, pavimentação e drenagem, e será feita ainda a sinalização de trânsito. A obra foi realizada através de emenda parlamentar da Deputada Luciana Santos (PCdoB). A via tem aproximadamente 700 metros. O término da obra irá ajudar a melhorar o tráfego em Olinda, porque permitirá uma nova ligação da região da Av. Carlos de Lima Cavalcanti com a FUNESO, facilitando o acesso à PE-15 e à Perimetral. Essa era uma grande reivindicação dos moradores da rua. Há mais de 25 anos, que as pessoas que moram ou que utilizam a via para se locomover, lutavam para que fosse asfaltada. The St. Vincent de Paul Society Australia is also a way to donate to evacuated families so they can cover their bills and rebuild away from home. While kangaroos and other native Australian animals can move quickly and escape more easily, koalas are slower. According to Newsweek, experts estimate 8,000 koalas in New South Wales alone have died in this season’s fires because they could not escape. Even koalas who manage to get away from the fires can suffer serious injuries. The World Wildlife Fund is accepting donations for conservation efforts, with specific focus on koalas. BUDOVANÁ TRAŤ MÁ SVOU HISTORII I Novým úsekem tramvajové tratě prodlužujeme stávající trať v ulici Na Pankráci ke stanici metra Pankrác. Nově budovaný úsek tramvajové tratě vede přesně v místech historické tramvajové tratě, která byla opuštěna v roce 1974 v důsledku zahájení provozu metra na trase C a prosazování tehdejší koncepce rušení tramvajové dopravy v centru a v oblastech nově obsloužených metrem. 🚋➡️ Pojďme se ale podívat na historii budované tramvajové trati: Tramvaje začaly na Pankrác jezdit před 95 lety díky prodloužení tratě z Nuslí na dnešní náměstí Hrdinů. O 5 let později, 29. května 1930 byla trať prodloužena z náměstí Hrdinů přes Lísek (později nazývaný Budějovické náměstí) až na Kačerov. V roce 1938 byla zprovozněna větev Budějovické náměstí – Ryšánka. Původní tramvajová trať vedla až po autobusové nádraží Pankrác (dnes na jeho místě stojí administrativní komplex Gemini) ulicí 5. května, ale v důsledku stavby II. severojižní magistrály a návazné dálnice D1 byla přeložena na moderní vlastní těleso do rozšířené souběžné ulice Na Pankráci. Ve stejné době byl ze stejných důvodů ukončen i provoz na trati z Budějovického náměstí na Kačerov. Zprovoznění trasy C pražského metra a prosazování koncepce MHD, omezující podíl tramvajové dopravy, znamenal konec tramvají v oblasti Krče, Budějovického náměstí a Pankráce obecně. 🚋➡️ Podívejte se na historické fotografie Lubomíra Kysely. Ontarios best reuse and recycling program—the deposit return program for wine, beer, and liquor containers— is under threat. As the province drafts a new regulation under the Resource Recovery and Circular Economy Act, it’s considering letting producers opt-out of the existing deposit system. This is a huge step in the wrong direction and will erode the success of the program over time. What Ontario really needs is more DRPs, not less. Instead of threatening the existing DRP, Ontario should be looking for ways to expand it to include non-alcoholic beverage containers like pop and water bottles. Currently, less than half the plastic drink bottles sold in the province are collected for recycling through the Blue Box. That means 1.5 billion bottles end up as trash or litter every year and contribute to the 10,000 tonnes of plastic trash entering the Great Lakes annually.
