This Brighton whole home remodel and addition was to create a master suite, as well as update the flow of the home, gut-remodel the kitchen, and update all bathrooms. Check out our new baby! Well actually it’s our third baby 👶🏻👶🏽👶🏼 because this labour of love is “Tap Wall 3” and the latest prototype on our quest to invent the perfect Refill Bar for cleaning and bodycare liquids. It’s waaaaaaayyy harder than we thought to get lots of different liquids flowing to taps efficiently, without leaking or blocking. BUT it’s our best model yet - and we are the first shop we know of to get this far with it. It’s involved a lot of trial and error, a few chemistry and physics lessons and much fiddling about with pumps and gauges. But she works and she looks great! Thanks to @makingitout_cio for the construction and @chilli_graphics.co.uk for bringing our branding to life. Before and After!! WE ARE OPEN AND READY FOR YOU!! What to expect these next few months: 👉We have added hand sanitization stations and equipment sanitization stations throughout the entire facility. Pls sanitize your hands on the way in and out. 👉We are currently keeping class sizes to a maximum of 8 with everyone having their own social distancing space and equipment. Classes will (temporarily) be 45 mins instead of 55 mins to allow cleaning/sanitizing. 👉Personal training clients will have access to a private studio and/or a dedicated space in the facility. There is also the option to host sessions outside. ⚠️ Please note, a personal trainer will break the social distancing rule if necessary 👉 Should you choose to wear a mask while training, please expect low impact modified workouts for your safety. 👉All equipment is sanitized in between clients use, we expect the client to do the majority of the cleaning and sanitizing to protect the staff, unless they are unable to. 👉Open gym: the cleaning/sanitization rules and protocols are the same along with prohibited sharing of equipment. Members must clean their entire station prior to moving to another. 👉All of our bathrooms have had sensor faucets and dispensers installed. 👉Our water station is touchless and our sign-in is now keytag swipe. 👉We are not opening our changerooms or coffee bar at this time. 👉We are not permitting personal training and/or group fitness members to bring family/caregivers in the facility to spectate unless it is absolutely necessary. To be eligible to have a family member/caregiver be present in the gym, it must be deemed necessary for client support and well-being. 👉Clients attending Fitness Consultations and Assessments may bring 1 (ONE) family member/caregiver with them. 👉All personal clients will be met at the entrance by their trainer. well that’s it, the end of an era at #theheavensap 2.5 (?). Off to bigger and better (and safer on a multitude of levels) things, but not without a proper ‘thank you’. Anyone who has been there knows it wasn’t the most glamorous, it was a dark, musty old building in a slightly sketchy part of town. But for the past 6 years it’s provided a roof, albeit leaky, for thousands of world class surfboards to be made under. Some of the best shapers and glassers on the planet have come through those doors to make beautiful, functional pieces of artwork. I have been so fortunate to be able to learn and grow as a surfboard builder from those opportunities. I will always be grateful for this place and the people who made it what it was. This also ends my 2 month insta hiatus. you’ve probably noticed a refreshed, less neglected look to @rozbernsurf insta account. that’s thanks to the help of @timmytorchia , who has joined the team to help with media and marketing. Timmy will keep you updated on the day to day with what’s new at the shop and in the water. Trying to keep boards going while setting up the new shop was hectic, but were finally at the finish line and I’m feeling the need to share more candidly, so that’s what I’ll do on my personal account. When we make a beer the initial output from the brewhouse is called wort. Wort is liquid that contains grain sugars and is nutrient rich. Wort can be fermented with microorganisms to make beer in a couple different ways. At most modern breweries, and at our Market brewery, wort is transferred to a stainless steel tank where it’s carefully inoculated by a yeast culture. After primary fermentation in stainless steel, the beer may be packaged, or it may undergo additional cold conditioning or lagering, also typically in stainless steel. In barrel-fermented beer, like what we make at our Monolith brewery, wort is put into barrels after an inoculation step so that primary fermentation takes place in the barrel. Near Huntsville, Alabama, our Infrastructure team is working hard to construct two bridges to fix a roadway damaged by a landslide. Our Highway 231 Emergency Bridge Replacement team is building two bridges comprised of seven 135-foot spans, approximately 1,000 feet each. The bridges will be built with enough clearance to allow stormwater to move beneath them without impacting the structure. The heavy February rains washed out the roadway, interrupting traffic for the 13,000 vehicles that travel this stretch of roadway per day. Our self-perform crew has poured 6,000 cu yd of concrete, installed 32 drilled shafts, set 84 girders, and poured 14 bridge decks since mobilizing on site June 1. The largest of Alabama’s road repair projects resulting from February’s flooding, this project is expected to complete in less than six months. - @brasfieldgorrie on Instagram

Nice boiler replacement we did last fall for the Alta Lodge. The two @nti_boilers heat 2 hot tubs, hallway baseboard, and unit heaters for each men’s/women’s restrooms. Keep in mind these boilers are installed at an altitude of 8,500! We also had fun getting all of this to fit under a set of stairs 👎.
