We have now done the final tasting of the White Garnacha for our new bubbling Ancestral(PetNat), ONE OFF #2. It has reached the density of 1014 gr/L. Considering the fermentation speed, Joan had set the bottling time to 11.30 tomorrow morning. At that time the density will be around 1005 gr/L. When the bottles are sealed the final fermentation of the wine will develop nice and gentle bubbles, an Ancestral wine🥂 . . We started our wine adventure a little bit more than three years ago. We bought a small piece of land in DO Montsant, Spain. We bought some more land and the project grow. Now we have launched six different wines and we still keep on developing. START OF THE AUSSIE ADVENTURE Our introduction to Australia could not have been more fascinating and lovely. For 2 weeks we stayed with Francoise and Dada in Crystal Waters Eco Village, a small hippie minded community a little north of Briabane. 🎎 Mis primeros MOCHIS🎎 Rellenos de almendras maceradas en TÉ negro y miel🍯 Hace un tiempo estos dulces japoneses se instalaron en nuestra cultura para pasar a ser el favorito de muchos. ¿ Los conocen? Son unos pastelitos hechos con arroz glutinoso. Algunos los hacen con harina de arroz glutinoso y otros, los más expertos y dedicados, machacan el arroz hasta que se convierten en una pasta. Se los rellena, tradicionalmente con una pasta de alubias/porotos rojos y soja, pero hoy en dia los encontramos también con fresa, chocolate, helado, matcha y etc... Para no romper con mi afán de incluir el té en todo, dejé unas almendras macerar en té negro y miel toda la mañana... (Despues le dí unos minutos de cocción para que espese y sea más fácil de rellenar.) Debo confesar que me faltan horas de práctica porque manipularlos me costo bastante, pero VA QUERIENDO... I cant wait to see what my esteemed colleagues make. So many people, especially young people, ask me how to make content that matters and deserves to be shared. Im not really sure ever how to respond--everybody who asks already has a story that is worth sharing. So pick up your phone or whatevers handy and start recording: youll figure the rest out along the way. We are in a moment where creativity is the most privileged--and colonized--expression of labor in the attention economy, because it condenses the freedom of dreaming and imagination into glimpses between the boredom, anxiety, depression, ennui, and dissatisfactions of modern living. As casual viewers, followers, and subscribers, we fetishize creativity because nearly everybody must deprive themselves of it to survive late capitalisms latest iteration. But the truth is all of us are creatives if we authorize ourselves to be. What matters most is that we invent and imagine new, necessary, and useful things for people navigating the senselessness of this world. Things that inspire contemplation instead of distraction. Things that give life and hope and reassurance. Things that reveal the truth about the viewer, less so the subject--and definitely not the influencer. Students from Visual communications and Product design at @beckmanscollegeofdesign initiated their study’s with a day of bonding and creating at #Frihamnstorget last Friday.
