Baldr’s Sun / A symbol depicting connected change as the four seasons and how they are tied into one another. The knot is a reference to how Baldr is often depicted with curled hair and the four dots resemble the seasons. The connected change is a symbol how Baldr falls and darkness comes similarly to the winter season approaching and the sun slowly showing itself less . Man Throws Rock at Officer On September 25, 2020, around 10 am, Manchester Police Officer Thomas Gallagher was working a construction detail and encountered a male on a skateboard. The individual was riding his skateboard through the construction zone and Ofc Gallagher told him he was not allowed to do so. The male swore at the officer and left the area. A short while later the same individual came back and again rode his skateboard in the construction zone. When we he was told by Ofc Gallagher to leave, the male took a slate of loose pavement and threw it at the officer. The pavement narrowly missed the officer’s head. The male then started to ride off, ignoring Ofc Gallagher’s orders to stop. It was believed that the individual went into a nearby business. Officers set up a perimeter and then entered the building. The male identified as 27 y/o Joshua Pelletier of Manchester was arrested and charged with felony Reckless Conduct and Resisting Arrest. “The abhorrent violence toward Officer Gallagher today is consistent with the violence toward police occurring across the country,” says Assistant Chief Ryan Grant. “This was completely uncalled for, as Ofc. Gallagher was just doing his job and trying to keep Mr. Pelletier safe. Mr Pelletier’s response to that guidance was to recklessly throw a piece of asphalt at him. This year has not been a good one from the very beginning. Due to the world situation, we are not able to take part in our favorite festivals.🔥 ⠀ However it is not a reason to be sad, let’s feel a little nostalgic and remember the victorious performance of our Workshop on the Epic Con festival in Saint Petersburg in 2019. ⠀ We went there to show our 3⃣ works: - Kratos (God of War) - Ragnar (Vikings) - Lagertha (Vikings) ⠀ Our duet of Vikings took the reward ‘The best collective cosplay, based upon the serials. The huge job was made with this costumes and the victory was the best award for our efforts! ✌💪 ⠀ I afford myself to give an advice to the all cosplayers: not to keep your chin up! All of us have more time for preparation and creating more complicated costumes! Zakończył się zasadniczy etap ratowniczych badań archeologicznych, prowadzonych na zachodnim międzymurzu zamku w Malborku. Ostatni etap badań umożliwił rozpoznanie pierwotnego zagospodarowania międzymurza w okresie średniowiecza oraz dokładne ustalenie chronologii odcinka muru obwodowego, o którego odkryciu wcześniej informowaliśmy. Poziom gruntu w momencie przybycia Krzyżaków do Malborka znajdował się tu około 3,5 m poniżej obecnego. Zagospodarowanie terenu nad Nogatem wymagało utwardzenia gruntu. W tym celu naniesiono nasypy i wykonano drewnianą nawierzchnię w strefie nadrzecznej, funkcjonującą zanim powstało międzymurze. Prace te wykonano w okresie początków zamku w Malborku – w końcu XIII i na początku XIV wieku. Odkryty mur obronny, przebiegający na wschód od muru obwodowego zrekonstruowanego po II wojnie światowej, zbudowano nieco później – około połowy XIV wieku. Wraz z fundamentem zachował się on na wysokości około 2,8 m. Wykonano go w bardzo ciekawej i rzadkiej technice, gdyż powyżej właściwego fundamentu wymurowano go w szczelnym szalunku z desek. W efekcie tego jego lico jest całkowicie przykryte w miarę gładką powierzchnią zaprawy. Co ciekawe wydatowanie muru na okres średniowiecza było w znacznej mierze możliwe dzięki wypadkowi przy pracy ówczesnych budowniczych, gdyż poziom szalunku uległ pożarowi, a powstała w jego efekcie warstwa spalenizny dostarczyła badaczom ostatecznego dowodu jego chronologii. Aby uzupełnić obraz zakresu prac prowadzonych przez średniowiecznych budowniczych dodać należy jeszcze, że wznosząc mur wykonano także nasypy podnoszące i wyrównujące przestrzeń międzymurza. Figlio del re nano Hreiðmarr e fratello di Reginn e Ótr, nella Saga dei Völsungar Fáfnir era un nano coraggioso e forte, il più forte dei tre figli di Hreiðmarr. Faceva la guardia alla dimora di suo padre, costruita completamente in oro e gemme preziose. La storia di Fáfnir viene raccontata da suo fratello Reginn al figlio adottivo Sigfrido (Sigurd): dopo che Loki uccise per sbaglio Ótr, Hreiðmarr ricevette lanello di Andvari dal dio per rimediare alla perdita del figlio. Fáfnir, saputo dellanello magico, Andvaranautr, uccise il padre per impossessarsene, senza dividere le ricchezze del padre col fratello Reginn che aveva partecipato allomicidio. Trasformatosi in drago (simbolo di avidità), nascose il proprio tesoro in una caverna nella foresta; venne poi ucciso da Sigfrido, munito della pregiata spada Gramr. Grazie infinite Bella per avermi portato un progetto così originale e grazie a @idan.grunberg.photography per le splendide foto! • Son of the dwarf king Hreiðmarr and brother of Reginn and Ótr, in the Völsungar Saga Fáfnir was a brave and strong dwarf, the strongest of Hreiðmarrs three sons. He guarded his fathers abode, built entirely of gold and precious gems. The story of Fáfnir is told by his brother Reginn to his adopted son Siegfried (Sigurd): after Loki killed Ótr by mistake, Hreiðmarr received Andvaris ring from the god to make up for the loss of his son. Fáfnir, known of the magic ring, Andvaranautr, killed his father to take it, without sharing his fathers wealth with his brother Reginn who had participated in the murder. Transformed into a dragon (symbol of greed), he hid his treasure in a cave in the forest; he was then killed by Siegfried, armed with the prized Gramr sword. • • Hello, hello... Ich dacht, ich mach mal einfach mit und reihe mich hier ebenso ein, bei diesem wunderbar verstrickenden Stück #instaquerkopf -Netzwerkerei. So viel Inspiration, so viel lyrischer Ton, die und der hier fließen und sich in mannigfaltiger Subtilität ergießen. Wie man merkt, gets bei mir klar um die Schreiberei, das Verwortlichen von Gedanken, das Heben von Schranken und nun Dank an den @einhornverleih • • Kurz () zu der Entwicklung meiner Schreiberling-Seele: Effektiv und produktiv hat der ganze Spaß so vor gut 3 1/2 Jahren angefangen, als das Niederschreiben von Gedanken und inneren Problemthematiken noch eine sehr zielgerichtete Ventilität besaß und mir unglaublich half, das Chaos im Selbst, zu ordnen und mit Abstand betrachten zu können. Da ich immer schon den Hang zu Worten und den Möglichkeiten unserer Sprache und Schrift hatte, entwickelte sich daraus recht schnell mehr als nur Verarbeitung. Ich mag Geschichten, Fantasie, Welten und unendlich erdenkliche Universen. Die Leidenschaft des Seins, die Facetten, die Zeit, den Teufel in ihr und das Warum. Warum also nicht hinaus mit Metaphern, Bildern, Ideen, Poesie und Lyrik?! Kunst ist so wundervoll gestaltbar und frei, so dass es schier unmöglich ist, irgendwann damit aufhören zu wollen. Die Welten können bunt aber ebenso grau sein. Im Endeffekt malen wir eh immer mit unseren eigenen Farben...sollten aber auch immer auf die wundervollen externen Farbkleckse schauen und uns immer wieder aufs Neue inspirieren und tragen lassen. Es ist ein tolles, enorm buntes Meer, in dem wir hier alle schwimmen! 🍀🌻🌊🌑⏳🎈🙏 • • Ich freue mich sehr, hier nun mitzumachen, Euch weiterhin und noch mehr zu lesen und schicke im Anhang noch die sonntagmorgendliche (auf dem Bild war es noch früh) ungefilterte Wahrheit, inklusive Querkopf-Falte auf der Stirn (Die klassische Denkerfalte 🤔).
