.What a stellar vacation with an amazing human being. I was lucky enough to do @so_long_marianne’s home visit as a volunteer for @redemptionpaws back in December. We hit it off immediately, realizing we are twin souls. We were immediate besties. A short 8 months later, and we’re vacationing in Prince Edward County. SUPing, surfing, HIIT Pilates every am, wineries daily, eating well (not really, but a nice treat for us both), alpaca ranches and lavender farms, drank our weight in wine daily, beach days every day, and we brought our puppies. I even got to reconnect with two old friends and beautiful souls from high school who I haven’t seen in 20 years, @countyfranks and @dillzillah. I haven’t vacationed or ‘travelled’ with anyone in about 10 years; love solo travel and am very much a lone wolf. If it wasnt for her, I would never have had this vacation. This stellar lady has changed the way I look at a ton of things, has been an incredibly present and supportive friend, and is cool af. I’m so grateful to have met you and how close we’ve become. Who says it’s hard to make friends over 40. Sometimes the best connections you have are friendships, not romantic. It shouldnt be a surprise that I love nature since I spend so much time trying to make it better, cleaner and enjoying the crap out of it. I surround myself with like-minded people and support organisations that share these ideals. I was VERY happy to learn about a new company opening up in the Northern Beaches on August 1, that shares the love for all of my favourite things. @pittwater.eco.adventures takes a stand with standup paddle boards to never walk, swim or paddle past plastic. They will be offering outdoor yoga, snorkel sessions, SUP cleanups other #ecofriendly activities. They even donate 10% of their profits to a not-for-profit. Such a great thing to do for the community. I cant wait to go hunting for trash on the water with this lovely group. When plans change, make the most of it 🏄🏼♀️ Be flexible. Be adaptable. Make the most of the time you have. It’s the one resource you can never get back once it’s gone. Time is limited and it’s not stopping for anyone. So make the most of every moment you have! It was great to get out on the water with @craftybeermaven this afternoon and do a covid-approved “water activity” while we enjoyed the cool Monterey ocean. Life can be rough, tough, and arduous right now. But I truly believe that life is what you make of it. Are you focusing on the positive or the negative? What are you putting into your body? Food, media, information, etc... What goes in, comes out. So for this season, I’m being extra choosy and surrounding myself with happy, positive people who are looking to grow and develop through these hard times. Or people who WANT to be this way! Just remember there’s a positive in everything. You can find it if you want to. After spending many hours on land working through our Teacher Manuals, we were ready to get on the water!!! We ended our day with a beautiful tour of the French Broad River followed by practicing our rescue skills!! I can attest that if you take a class with any of these women, they will be able to rescue you in an emergency situation! Throw back to last sunny Sunday on the Kleine Nete 🤙💙 12km The Kleine Nete is usually explored by kayaks. Actually we were the only Suppers that day. The complete ride goes up to 25km. We did 12km also because I already paddled 15km on the Dommel the day before 😊 Spotted 🔎: nature, tunnels of trees, photogenic green algae, ducks, birds, herons, other kayaks Entering the river : The best way is to park a car at the staring point and another one at the ending point. We started at the water mill of Retie (Watermolen 10, 2490 Retie) and ended up close to the Bobbenjanland Park. Какое красивое море 😁 ・・・ этим летом☀️🌊 я открыла для себя новый очень интересный вид спорта как Сапсёрфинг 🏄🏽♀️ето разновидность сёрфинга, в котором серфер, стоя на доске, перемещается по воде посредством гребли веслом🚣🏽♀️ Одно из самых сложных задач здесь является баланс доски на воде, он кардинально отличается от сноуборда и вейкборда и делает этот вид спорта по своему интересным👌 В Украине он появился не так давно и начинает только набирать обороты А вот в мире уже существуют и проф. турниры.
