✊🏼🖤🔥 #lapolicianomecuidameviola #LaPoliciaNoMeCuida #feministas #marchafeminista #feminism #mexicocity #ACAB #bloquenegro #AbortoLegalYa #AbortoLegal #niunamenos #everydaylatinamerica #everydaymexico #fotografaslatam #mujeresfotografas #CDMX - @lashenkamx on Instagram

🧐. . #DerechosHumanos #NuncaMás #Memoria #Historia #Verdad #11deSeptiembre1973 #Justicia #Reparación #DerechosCulturales #derechoalacultura - @museo_historico_de_placilla on Instagram

For most of my life I have been very privileged to not have to deal with the supremacy of the police department because I lived in a wealthy neighborhood one of the top 50 safest places to live in the United States. It was not until I moved to Los Angeles a year ago... reality struck. People are racially profiled, falsely accused, arrested, jailed and killed each and every day by police globally. Police need to be policed. A change starts from within, these photos were taken the end of May, protests are still happening DAILY all over the United States and other parts of the world. Keep fighting the good fight friends, eventually we will become victorious. Put an end to this atrocity. #35mm #fujifilm #blmla Developing and scans by @35mpro - @amyxvxcarla on Instagram

George Floyd Protest May 28th 2020, Brooklyn Barclays Center If I were to ask you what you see in these photographs, how would you reply? I would say that I see cops attacking a journalist, a member of the media. More specifically @1010wins. This is happening at peaceful protests where we are protesting against police brutality. Fucked. What is happening in NYC right now is very wrong and it’s also happening all over the country. To anyone justifying the actions of the police, smd you’re not with us. If you’re protesting please stay in large groups. Please take care of one another. Keep each other updated. If you know or see someone get arrested have their name and DOB ready and call - 1 (833) 346-6322 an attorney will help guide you on locating and making sure your friend is okay for free. (They will most likely just be booked given a ticket and released within a couple hours) These pigs will have their day and the future is ours. Castle Of Innocence by Joel Jimenez Castle of Innocence is a tale that questions the narratives and myths that shape our perception of protection, violence, and truth in the collective consciousness. Set in the Children’s Museum (Museo de los Niños) of Costa Rica, the project uses found images and original material shot in the museum, intertwining multiple layers of the building’s history to reflect on the strategies used by power structures to construct and control social identity. on view on yogurtmagazine.com #identity #socialcontrol - @yogurt.magazine on Instagram
