• There was a lot of body shaming talk floating around in my childhood. Lots of men putting blame on women for their own misconduct & misogyny, usually backed up with religious philosophy, & lots of women coming up with reasons not to love themselves. It left me with a lot to undo over the years. • I’ve got plenty more to work on but I’m happy to say in my 30s I’ve climbed over some pretty big mountains & claimed some pretty awesome truths for myself. • Because of this, it’s given me the ability to feel so empowered & so free to embrace & be proud of the metamorphosis & maternal beauty of my body throughout this pregnancy. • Because making a person is truly something to be revered & be in awe of. Ou só de lingerie de uma maneira mais organica ou natural. Da para notar isso vendo as outras fotos da minha timeline. Acredito que essas duas maneiras se aproximam mais da realidade da vida: usando roupas do dia a dia ou se olhando despida no espelho. Capturando a essência e personalidade de cada pessoa. He tenido que aprender a escoger y a observar las prácticas que me desgastan y que pudieran impedirme recibirles con el ánimo y el espíritu que me caracteriza. Pero aquí viene la parte que no a todos les gusta: mi disponibilidad ha cambiado por completo. Últimamente las citas se han ido agotando de manera increíble (GRACIAS!), y la disponibilidad de mis servicios ahora mismo es de 3 a 6 semanas. Happy Preggos Day! 🤰 Do you miss being pregnant? Heres a little secret... I dont 😬 There are amazing things about it, obviously, feeling a baby grow inside you is the best feeling ever. But to me the bad parts make me not love that phase thats supposed to be the best one of your life. I dont know about you, but heres what happens to me when Im pregnant: Tired literally ALL the time, I fall asleep everywhere, my nose gets giant from day one (and never goes back to normal apparently), I get fart problems !!! (😂), I get all psycho because HORMONES, which also happen to make my body hair grow in a weird way, I forget literally everything (who said pregnancy brain isnt a thing clearly has never been pregnant!!!), the heartburn is real, I stop enjoying sex, and on top of it all I cant eat sushi or drink alcohol!!! What kind of life is that?? 😂 Also, I think pregnancies last way too long. Ive been MIA lately because Ive been busy working on this new project that will keep me occupied for the next 18 years or more hah. We welcomed a baby boy into this world on Good Friday, April 10, 2020. His name is Oliver but we call him Ollie. What a crazy time it is to be pregnant and deliver a baby during a pandemic. Spending all our time at home now and watching the tiny human grow slowly each day, optimizing our condo for maximum functionality while maintaining design appeal, and of course trying to figure out how to get the little one to sleep so that mom and dad can sleep too. The environment one sleeps in plays such a big role in quality sleep. What are your sleep associations to help you or your little ones get quality sleep? For me, Ive been using ear plugs, a white noise sound machine, and eye mask for napping during the day. Drinking a cup of water before bed helps too. Arriva il punto in cui, però, ci si ferma e non si vuole far altro che parlare alla vita dentro di noi. Come in questa lettera a cuore aperto, scritta della nostra amica @_francescainwonderland_: _ ”Cara Sveva, era il 20 settembre scorso quando abbiamo scoperto che saresti arrivata nelle nostre vite. Tanto desiderata e cercata, un’emozione fortissima, di quelle che ti riempiono subito il cuore! Non so spiegarlo, ma da subito ho sentito che eri una femmina, una sensazione che si faceva strada dentro di me con più sicurezza man mano che crescevi. ¿Sabes cómo deberías sentirte antes de una sesión de fotografía? Como fotógrafo o modelo, participar en una sesión siempre es emocionante, cada experiencia es única y es una oportunidad para conocer a otras personas. Si es tu primera vez, vas a estar emocionad@ y quizás ansios@ pero debes saber que uno como fotógrafo generalmente inicia una conversación para romper el hielo (probablemente mientras se arman los equipos), en mi caso también te voy a mostrar ejemplos de lo que podemos hacer, te enseñaré algunas poses en el teléfono (a veces hasta las hago yo para que veas como se hace! jaja), siempre les recuerdo que vamos a hacer todo con calma y a la velocidad que les haga sentir cómod@s. Además no te sorprendas que siempre voy a tratar de hacerte reír al menos una vez! una sesión tiene que ser una experiencia y no un trámite. Há 4 meses estava a entrar em trabalho de parto, ainda sem saber se me seria permitido ter acompanhante no parto - neste caso o pai da bebé. Foram 9 meses a falarmos sobre o dia em que a íamos conhecer, a perguntarmo-nos como é que ela seria, como seria a nossa reação e eu, enquanto grávida de primeira viagem, a perguntar-me, nervosa, como seria o meu parto. Tive 32h em trabalho de parto, por isso tivemos tempo de fazer o teste covid, receber os resultados (negativos) e ir para um hospital que nos recebeu aos dois, sem nos separar em momento algum. Foi um direito deixado à mercê da sorte, do acaso, do privilégio - que felizmente tivemos. Passei por um trabalho de parto difícil, com uma bebé em posição posterior e que, mais à frente, entrou em sofrimento fetal. Mas foi um trabalho de parto feliz, muito graças à presença do meu marido, que ficou acordado mais de 30h, tal como eu, a apoiar-me, abraçar-me, massajar-me e a fazer parte de cada contração e emoção. Hoje recordamos os dois com ternura o primeiro momento em que vimos a nossa bebé e ela nos viu a nós - um mesmo momento para os 3 porque... tivemos sorte. Ter acompanhante no parto não é um capricho, um luxo ou uma mariquice. Nem é um favor que nos fazem. O parto não é um procedimento médico em que importa apenas o bebé sair do corpo da grávida - mecanicamente, muitas vezes. O parto representa um nascimento mas também um renascimento da mulher e daquela família. Marca o início de uma nova vivência e pode ser um evento de elevado impacto na saúde mental da mulher. Mulher essa que será o colo de um novo ser, um ser dependente, frágil e carente. Passaram 6 meses desde que a pandemia entrou em força em Portugal, o medo se instalou e a escassez de recursos também. Hoje, podes festejar com amigos, ir ao shopping, jantar fora, ir ao cinema, tudo com quem quiseres. A economia não pode ser prejudicada. Mas, ou a sorte está do teu lado, ou terás de parir sozinha (ou lidar sozinha com a perda de um bebé). O que importam os direitos da grávida? O que importa a saúde mental da mulher que pariu e da sua família? Afinal, os bebés nascem na mesma e as estatísticas de natalidade mantêm-se a rolar. #parirsozinhanao - @inesrpais on Instagram

As my due date nears and our family’s excitement grows, I‘m also hit with the harsh reality of racial disparities when it comes to giving birth in America. In the past I’ve naively assumed that the US was one of the safest places in the world to deliver a baby, but in fact, that isn’t always the case. Despite the United States having the most expensive healthcare system in the world, we also have the highest maternal mortality rate among peer economies. “In the United States, women are more likely to die from complications of pregnancy and birth than in 54 other high-resource countries, and most of these deaths are preventable. For the first time, a woman is twice as likely to die from pregnancy-related complications as her mother was a generation ago. This burden is not equally shared. For Black, Brown, and Indigenous people, child-birth in the U.S. is often not the joyous experience that we all deserve. Black and Indigenous women are two to three times more likely than white women to die from complications of pregnancy and birth and are also more likely to experience near misses or severe complications. One in three people of color giving birth in a hospital reports experiencing disrespectful care or mistreatment.” I am incredibly grateful for the wonderful care my babies and I have received from my births. However, as we continue to fight for equality we should also continue the work to see that every woman in this country has access to same supportive and safe care. We should all share the freedom to feel joy rather than fear when giving birth and I pray that birth equity awareness and justice continues to spread throughout our country and world. Hace unas semanas, recibí un mensaje de una joven mujer, Tatiana me escribía por recomendación de un maestro que pues por la pandemia se le hacía imposible venir a Panamá para tomar las fotos de su embarazo, a esta recomendación no podía decir no, ademas que es como una especie de reto que un maestro te refiera pues se siente como un examen (😅 que nervios), igual tome esto con mucho ánimo, casualmente en clases me habían dado una herramienta súper útil “the mood board”, en el pasado lo había visto gracias a una productora con la que trabaje y un fotógrafo de publicidad al cual asistí solo que esta vez me habían ampliado su uso y aplicación, volviendo al punto le dije a Tatiana “hagamos un mood board con las fotos que te gustan” y así creamos un concepto. Llego el día comenzamos, al inicio estaba algo rígida ella me confesó que era la primera vez que le tomaban fotos, aún así para ser su primera vez esa pena duró poco y la genialidad empezó a relucir en aquella sala, su esposo muy amable colaboró un montón, para no hacerles el cuento tan largo por hoy aquí les dejo una de mis fotos favoritas un minimalismo que me encanta, como dirían Platón (fotógrafo) “simple, clear and bold”; ahora antes de irme les pregunto ¿qué opinan de la foto a color❓ mira la siguiente foto ➡️ y dime que piensas. Entre uma dor e outra se alimenta. Ela caminha porque para ela é muito pior deitar. E ela caminha porque seu corpo pede e ela aceita continuar. Quão forte pode ser uma mulher. Uma fortaleza de resiliência e vontade. Uma fortaleza que urra na dor e chora e espera entre uma contração e outra a filha chegar. E quando em uma força instintiva sua filha finalmente chega, ela abraça e novamente chora, um choro de alegria e vitória por se descobrir fortaleza quando minutos antes pensava que não poderia mais prosseguir. E o choro da filha se une ao dela. O choro do encontro e do reconhecimento. Porque eram apenas uma no corpo da mulher transformada em mãe. E agora são duas, mas continuam uma no seio que amamenta e sustenta e as une novamente. Quão forte pode ser uma mulher. 16 tc vs. 29 tc. vs. dziś ( jutro początek 40tc😱) Nasza brzuszkowa podróż powoli (no dobra mega szybko🤣) dobiega końca.... Zapamiętam okres ciąży, jako jeden z najlepszych w moim życiu🙄SERIO! Nigdy nie sądziłam, że noszenie pod swoim serduchem, drugiego maleńkiego serduszka przejdzie mi tak gładko. Zero załamań, zero kryzysów. Oczywiście bywaly dni, kiedy energia spadała do zera. Jednak takie momenty wyliczę na palcach u ręki. Życzę KAŻDEJ przyszłej mamie, aby miała takie szczęście jak ja i przeszła te 9 miesięcy z uśmiechem na twarzy, z książkowymi wynikami badań i mnóstwem pozytywnej energii☺️ Chociaż zawsze jednak powtarzam, że lepiej się nastawić na gorsze i być miło zaskoczonym, niż dostać młotkiem w łeb, bo się miało nadzieje na bóg wie co! 😋 Arbuzik🍉 wierci się jak szalony, kocham to uczucie, choć czasem na niego narzekam - będę tęsknić okrutnie za tymi kopami, teraz już to wiem🙈 Bilans? Na wadze około +9, więc bosko🤩 Rozsądne, zbilansowane jedzenie (w ostatnim jednak wpadło ciut grzeszków🙈), hektolitry wody i litry pokrzywy...dużo ruchu - recepta na mały sukces i zdrowie ☺️ Rozstępów brak (narazie😋 - wrzucę Wam post co używam do pielęgnacji skóry☺️) Czekanie to cholernie męczące zajęcie. Szczególnie jak czeka ze mną cała rodzina, rodzina mojego męża, wszyscy przyjaciele, znajomi i nieznajomi, wszyscy Wy🥰LOVE! Cholernie miłe i wzruszające jak tyle ludzi czeka na kogoś, kogo noszę pod sercem, a wydawałoby się, że czekamy tylko My...
