Hi everyone, I haven’t put much on this page lately and I’m sorry, I’ve been going through a lot at home, and I write this with a heavy heart, My husband, out of the blue, no longer wants to be with me and I am devastated, after what was already a tough year of home schooling my kids for 6 months during lockdown with no respite at all, this has been beyond a shock to the system that it’s come to this , my heart physically hurts, I can barely eat or sleep and it’s going to take a lot of healing and putting myself back together again, but I will because my kids need me and are my number one priority and whilst the thought of being a single mum to 2 special needs kids is daunting, I will always find that strength to give them everything they need as I always have, their love is unconditional and it’s all I need❤️ #specialneedsmom #autismmoms #specialneedskids #autism - @parenting_special_needs_kids on Instagram

If you think about it, it makes sense. How would you respond if someone yells and makes you feel bad every time you do something they don’t agree with? Imagine your boss was like this. You’d probably quit after a while. So, when responding to your children remember this. Think about how it would make you feel if you were your own parent. Would you like to be treated the way you treat your children? Ideally your answer to this question is YES (for the most part). Come from a place of love, be gentle, and your children will actually respond better, they will want to cooperate and they will behave better. 💜 So, friend, let’s do this!
