FREE PLAY FRIDAY! TRUE STORY! I was re-setting my rope length on my reformer by grabbing both loops and this is what came out of it. I’m playing again in that pretzel position (switched legs from the post a week or so ago called LEVEL UP UNILATERAL) and I’m on 1 BLUE 🌀. Here’s what I’m calling these, because it’s just me playing and moving on my reformer. Yet again, which I feel SO grateful about. I was just sitting at my desk typing a moment ago, felt inspired and hopped on over to my equipment. LEVEL 1️⃣ Pretzel sit with bicep to “punch the sky.” LEVEL 2️⃣ Pretzel sit with side bend and “find the floor.” LEVEL 3️⃣ Pretzel sit with side bend and “leave the floor long arm.” SWIPE IT FOR ALL 3️⃣ and please PLAY WITH ME, will you? Welcome Day6 :) The pose is cobra pose or locust. Here I’m sharing 2 videos. The first one is how I training my back strength with wide arm variation and full pose. Ending is tradition to dhanurasana. I’m sharing short backbend strenth practice but this kind of practice important in every backbend pose. It’s not only flexibility, we also need strong back muscles. Second is fun variation of movement using yoga wheel. I think this is quietly fun 😅but you also need strength to grounding well. Without it the wheel maybe going somewhere 😶 And when you using it find right place the right place you feel no pain. As you see in bhujangasana I really want to asking you try to using upper body and make your leg super super strong. Swipe and see the last photo of cobrapose. ( I shared it before so you can also find it in on my post too) This is what I think important thing in cobrapose. About pulcivbone: it really takes time to grounding. If this is tough, using blanket or slightly lift up is also fine. Welcome to Fall! Happy Equinox. Equal day & night, light & dark. This photo is from nearly a year ago when I was just discovering the magic of #KatonahYoga @thelookingglassbasel 💗 Little did I know how much our world would change from then to now. Progress sometimes feels like one step forward, two steps back. We’ve all been dealt a few hard blows in the last couple seasons. Some more than others, showing how the equality of this seasonal mark is just cosmic and not (yet) fully reflected in the workings of our society nor in the individualist culture. Great Nature is so inspiring as she reminds us to never quit tuning our frequencies, though. I’ve found myself seriously turning away from personal use of this platform, apart from my business... I am turning in and it fits with the season. I’m concerned with the disturbing unfolding of many things in the social media sphere & beyond, so let me just write here now that I am definitely voting BIDEN/HARRIS 2020; it’s strategic and in alignment with my heart & core values. I hope you vote, too. For my mental sanity and to be more effective at my life purpose, I will be plugging some of my energy leaks and practicing what I preach—embodiment. 🌀Time to get offline (!!!) and into the current of life. Tanto a Ju quanto a Mari são profissionais maravilhosas e que trabalham conceitos mais amplos e modernos de pilates. E PARA MIM, pilates nunca foi coisa de velho! Nunca foi parado, aliás, é mais do que dinâmico! Eu canso o mesmo tanto que um treino na academia. Não só a força, mas a concentração, respiração, postura, flexibilidade estão sempre sendo trabalhadas. E além de um exercício ótimo, o que realmente me faz me apaixonar diariamente por esse esporte é a superação eterna!
