BNI Dukung Program Bantuan Presiden Produktif untuk Usaha Mikro Sebagai rangkaian dari program Pemulihan Ekonomi Nasional (PEN), PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk atau BNI kembali ditunjuk pemerintah, dalam hal ini Kementerian Koperasi dan Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM), untuk menyalurkan Bantuan Presiden (Banpres) Produktif bagi pelaku usaha mikro. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan peluncuran program Banpres yang dihadiri Presiden RI Joko Widodo, Menteri Koperasi dan UKM Teten Masduki, Direktur Treasuri dan Internasional BNI Putrama Wahju S, serta perwakilan penerima bantuan di Gedung Agung, Yogyakarta, pada Jumat, 28 Agustus 2020. Acara ini diikuti juga oleh perwakilan penerima bantuan dari 18 outlet BNI di WYK, 1 di Dinkop Sleman dan di Gedung Agung Yogyakarta yang terhubung secara daring. “Dalam rangkaian Hari Ulang Tahun Kemerdekaan RI dan bagian dari program PEN, BNI dipercaya oleh Kementerian Koperasi dan UKM untuk menyalurkan Bantuan Presiden Produktif bagi pelaku usaha mikro sebesar Rp 2.400.000 per orang,” ujar Putrama Wahju S di Gedung Agung, Yogyakarta, Jumat siang, 28 Agustus 2020. Dia menambahkan, ”Penerima bantuan atau pelaku usaha ini adalah nasabah PNM Mekaar yang tersebar di berbagai daerah di Indonesia.” Untuk tahap pertama, Kementerian Koperasi dan UKM, bekerja sama dengan PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) atau PNM sebagai lembaga pengusul, menetapkan 316 ribu lebih penerima bantuan pelaku usaha mikro yang disalurkan melalui BNI. BNI dipilih menjadi bank penyalur karena mampu menyediakan sistem penyaluran yang terintegrasi dengan baik, dari pembukaan rekening secara kolektif sampai tahap monitoring pencairan. BNI juga mampu memberikan kemudahan penerima dalam proses pembuatan rekening (dengan sistem burekol atau buka rekening kolektif) sehingga para penerima hanya perlu melakukan proses aktivasi rekening sebelum buku tabungan dan kartu debit dapat diambil di outlet BNI. Congratulations Yael Davids! Yesterday, the artist was the first to be awarded the title Creator Doctus (CrD)! The title Creator Doctus (CrD) is set up by the Gerrit Rietveld Academie as a three-year research trajectory within the so-called third cycle of higher education. The trajectory will result in a series of artworks, rather than a written dissertation. These answer research questions formulated by the artists within the context of framework provided by a commissioning partner, in this case the Van Abbemuseum. The first CrD-pilot started in 2017, with artist Yael Davids. The focus of Davids’ research ‘A Daily Practice’ is on somatic learning and is inspired by the work of Dr. Moshé Feldenkrais. He developed a method for people to change bodily habits from within. In January 2020, Femke Herregraven has also embarked on a three-year Creator Doctus (CrD) programme, which the Sandberg Instituut has set up in collaboration with WAAG. Earlier this month, BBC ran a story on 25 year old wheel-chair user Helen Fincham who is a keen fashion enthusiast but has been losing motivation after the lack of choices for clothes that make her feel comfortable. The story highlighted the critical need for designers to be more open-minded in their design aesthetics and also factor in people with disabilities. 🍃 For the majority of us, we don’t really think about the way we get dressed but for millions of people with disabilities globally (15% of the world’s population!), successfully putting on a piece of clothing they really like is extremely challenging. Something as simple as replacing buttons and zippers with velcro or magnets can enable independent dressing and make a world of difference. 🍃 More sustainable brands are starting to explore with inclusive and adaptive clothing, but these are still far and few in between as many designers traditionally are not equipped with the right skills to design for disability. (Fully aware that I’m about two posts away from making this a Sacha fan account. We’ve discovered some YouTube videos that allow her to chase spiders on the screen.) I’ve been intermittently posting the past few weeks — trying to dive in a bit deeper into the perfectionism I tend to hold myself to in my personal, professional life (that frankly, I often deny). I’ve always been keen on the details, but it tends to slow me down when trying to move fast. My mantra these days is to just execute — get done what I need to get done to the best of the 80/20 I can sleep peacefully on, and leave the details, the self-criticism, the “what if?” to the wayside. We can’t do everything, and we can’t do everything well. I’m focusing on knocking out the things that I happen to be good at and enjoy, and on other things, spend a bit more time understanding why I feel I have to rehash and redo and repost and rewrite and rework.
