Late 2016. One of the best points In my life, which quickly turned into straight up the lowest. I look back on that experience of pain and think of it as a beautiful encapsulation of what life is about. Only because this was such a significant period of growth in my life at the time. Believe I’ve had many more since... I was drawn to this shot though when looking through my old photos recently. There’s a real sense of being innocently consumed and present. Feeling very intensely, the highs I was feeling at that point. And whilst the growth of learning from the lows is important. The window corner I chose, when we landed here has been happily transformed to my work desk. And I am happily and seriously dedicated to this desk for getting rewards at the end of day. From the last two month, I am volunteering to Sri Sri Sanskaar Kendra sessions. Sessions in SSSK are designed for children of 6-10 age. These lovely sessions are the best thing I opted again after completing an annual session previously in our Lajpat Nagar center. Every session is based upon pre- designed program. Each story,(which I get to tell them) and all other playful activities are aimed to let children know how beautiful life would be when we love, care and are compassionate for each other. As children have been away from their lovely nurturing environment of Schools from last six months, they are enthusiastic about every session. Many are joining from remotest part of country. Besides this, I love soaking in afternoon warmth, reading paper, here at this my favourite corner. And then all my video calls with family, and watching some of my favourite series, listening songs, all that happens here. B E D R O O M I know I’ve posted this one before, but here is the progress from move-in till now. I painted the wall behind my bed black, then installed the faux crisscross wainscoting, using a basic 1x4. I then installed my two gold sconces, bought on sale from West Elm, to add balance and lighting for my bed. (Bed Frame is Way-fair btw). Next, I went for it. For the other three walls in the bedroom, I painted black up from 3 quarters, up to the ceiling. It was a bold choice, but with the added lighting of the lamps it gave such a warmth to the room. The 3 quarter white wall, instead of half wall, also makes the room seem taller than it actually is. Lastly, I chose three pictures that brought in abstract elements to contrast the dark walls for above my bed. Bringing in those touches of wall art really helped to tone down the heavy colors. For a place I lay my head down each night, I am thankful for the bold choice to give me a little sanctuary each and everyday. Swipe to see the progression! - @kameronmitch on Instagram

Hello everyone! I hope your day is going well. I love my workspace. And sometimes I dont. Its not exactly arranged the way I want it yet: I want to change the wall colour (any ideas?), I want more plants and art, change a few things around with the furniture etc. But its a work in progress, a bit like my art. I spend so much time in here so Im really grateful to have a room dedicated to working. And since it opens onto the living-room, I dont feel completely isolated from the rest of the house and the family. My surroundings are very important for me when I work and create. I would struggle to get things done in a chaotic or visually unappealing office. That said, I sometimes need complete isolation, or those 4 walls feel oppressive. So my bed, cafés or a place away for a weekend become my workspace for a while.
