Wie alle Betriebe haben wir die gleichen Probleme und fragen uns ob, wir eine solche Krise überstehen werden. Im Moment aber wollen wir unsere Kraft den Menschen widmen die auf der Straße leben. Diese haben es gerade sehr schwer über die Runden zu kommen. Man darf in der aktuellen Situation nicht vergessen, dass viele (inzwischen fast alle) Läden schließen. Das bedeutet auch, dass die Menschen auf der Straße weniger Geld zusammen bekommen und andererseits keinen Zugang zu Toiletten oder sauberes Wasser haben. Beispielsweise schließt McDonalds – hier wurde Menschen der Zutritt gewährt, sodass die Leute auf Toilette gehen und sich waschen konnten. Wir haben uns die letzten Tage Gedanken gemacht und mit den Obdachlosen unseres Bezirks Sankt Pauli gesprochen und gefragt was sie im Moment am meisten benötigen. Sie haben nach einfachen Dingen gefragt wie Klamotten, Batterien, Pflaster und einfache Nahrung. Viele sagen man solle sich den Menschen nicht nähern oder sich gar mit ihnen unterhalten, sie könnten krank sein. Wir leben selber auf der Ecke und beobachten jeden Tag, wie die Menschen mit der Situation umgehen. Wir wollen nicht blind sein, wir wollen helfen. Viele Künstler fragen uns, ob wir uns bei den ganzen Livestreams anschließen wollen und unter anderem auch unsere verschiedenen Lokalitäten zur Verfügung stellen würden. Für die zuhause sitzenden Menschen gibt es ein breites Angebot für verschiedenste Livestreams - #stayhome. Obdachlose können sich teilweise nicht richtig bewegen und leiden unter den verschiedensten Krankheiten. Obdachlosenorganisationen sind teils stark unterbesetzt und müssen gerade in der aktuellen Ausnahmesituation noch viel mehr leisten. Dementsprechend würden wir uns freuen, wenn ihr unser Team bei ehrenamtlichen, solidarischen Tätigkeiten unter die Arme greift. Eine Hand wäscht die andere. Wir wollen kein Geld sammeln/verteilen. Laser treatment of Nevus of Ota can provide life-changing results for patients with this cosmetically disfiguring birthmark. Nevus of Ota is a dark-blue or brown dermal discoloration, mostly seen in females with skin of color. There is no successful treatment other than laser. Given their size and location, surgical excision of a large Nevus of Ota would create unacceptable scarring. You are “too young” to make other people and society comfortable with you revealing your silver hair with confidence because of the conditioning we’ve experienced about what gray hair means. That doesn’t make it true. Your hair color doesn’t define your age, youthfulness or vitality. You’re not too young. And the quicker we realize that, the quicker that barrier gets broken down. December 2012 was the last time I dyed my hair and immediately regretted it BUT it was feeling all that regret that enabled me to stand firm in my decision to never dye it again. A 8 year old Caol Ila Whisky finished in a Pinot Noir Barrel from Balthasar Ress, a Winegut 40 miles from my home in Germany. Now for the Whisky. Bottled at a mighty 57% abv it packs a #whiskypunch! The sound of the Whisky got my taste buds excited but alas the balance, well: just doesn’t balance. The warm smokiness I love from the Caol Ila is hindered by the Red Wine finish, yet the finish doesn’t deliver a rich, chewy sweetness I was longing for. The flavour feels a little lost; like a disharmonised relationship which has either gone sour or needs longer to over come difficulties. Would I buy a €99 from The Islay Cask Company? Yes, but purely because of my relationship & love for the Rhinegau. For me, it’s a personal buy. 8 years ago yesterday I had my first weight loss surgery. That started my long journey to lose 170lbs. It wasn’t easy, my journey was far from perfect and it wasn’t anything like I expected. In 8 years I’ve lost 170lbs. I had two weight loss surgeries and I went down 9 dress sizes. I also had a pregnancy after weight loss surgery and breastfed for 15 months.
