I can’t remember the last time my 2 year old crawled into my lap and slept in my arms like this. A indução do parto já estava agendada, como na gestação anterior. Mas dessa vez ela escolheu tentar o descolamento de membranas (uma opção menos invasiva que pode ajudar a induzir o trabalho de parto) alguns dias antes de internar para a indução e... bingo! Entrou em trabalho de parto espontaneamente (sem medicações) e pariu sua filha naturalmente, cercada de pessoas e profissionais que ela confiava, do jeito que ela tanto desejou durante toda a gestação! Foi mágico, como todo parto e nascimento deveria ser! E até hoje, mesmo com quase 10 anos atuando como Doula, ainda não encontrei nenhuma palavra que consiga descrever a potência de momentos como esse. Poi tua figlia non dorme di notte ed urla. Tanto. Ma il pediatra dice che non te la può visitare. E dopo una settimana quasi, di pianti e notti insonni, di preoccupazioni, scopri che è unotite. Una semplice otite, ma semplice non è, in tempo di covid. Ed allora sei nervosa e punti il dito, o ti puntano il dito. E tutto si accumula, la casa da vendere, quella da comprare, e ti dimentichi di respirare. La verità è che tutto passa, e che loro sono il mio raggio di sole, nelle giornate di pioggia. Tutto passa, ed andrà tutto bene, anche quando non sembra. Ma non sentitevi strane se gettate la spugna, ogni tanto serve. Quando la gettate, lasciatela lontano, così farete tanta bella strada prima di riprenderla. Вот не хотела писать про это, но пробка по дороге домой сделала своё дело и вот вам мой крик души😂 (не пожалейте лайк❤️👆🏻) Итак, сегодня у нас была очередная съёмка для @by.che.dress. Все наши визажисты оказались при деле и приехать сегодня не смогли, так что мы позвали незнакомого нам визажиста по рекомендации. К назначенному времени приходит довольно молоденькая девчушка, спрашивает про пожелания по макияжу и тут выясняется, что с волосами она не работает, хотя этот момент - маст хев в любой съемке и озвучивался заранее 🙄 Ну ок, выхода у нас нет, равно как и времени🤨 Дальше пошёл дооооолгий процесс «рисования» лица модели... Когда я увидела конечный результат, у меня выпал глаз😳 Конечно, это было совсем не то, что мы заказывали изначально и , в довольно корректной форме, «специалиста» попросили переделать, скорректировать свою работу. И пошла ТАКАЯ обида, что настроение было испорчено уже не только у модели🙄 Такая же история со второй девушкой - боевой раскрас, стрелки до ушей и полное отсутсвие базовых моментов проф макияжа🤦🏼♀️ «Визажист» исправлять что-либо отказалась, и ,в спешке и обиде удалилась, не оставив нам даже ватную палочку, чтобы хоть как то частично стереть этот шедевр. Мне пришлось быстро соображать, что делать и бежать в ближайший магазин за Бьюти- аптечкой 😂 Стрелки были удалены, хайлайтер поставлен на место, губы обозначены, съёмка спасена👌🏻Но какими нервами🤯 И вот спрашивается, если ты ещё не набила руку, зачем так подводить людей перед важной съемкой?? Крась маму дома или подружек перед клубом, тренируйся 🤨 А самое главное, разве можно так обижаться на критику? Это основной вопрос последних лет, для меня- люди не хотят критики, боятся ее, демотивируются и не понимают, что для них это, определенно, точка роста! Недавно я услышала мнение, что это «обесценивание» чужого труда. Получается, что если ты заказчик (работодатель), то при любых результатах, путь даже идущих в разрез с ожидаемыми должен молчать в тряпочку, зато останешься «хорошим»🙄?? Что думаете по этому поводу? Gestern Abend hatte ich ein Date mit Miki. Wir haben einen wundervollen Abend zu Zweit verbracht. Zuerst wurde ich von meinem liebsten Gatten mit einem Ring von Cartier überrascht. I came across an Albert Einstein quote a few weeks ago on a tea bag that read “Imagination is more important than knowledge” and I don’t think I’ve ever felt so connected to a bag of tea in my life. I literally could not stop thinking about the quote after reading it. The perfect teaching for now and for always — especially as so many of us continue to spend time indoors or on our own. Making the time to daydream and appreciate the wonders of my imagination has been my greatest asset in 2020. Spending time with my two year old nephew, Kainoa, has been the second greatest. He loooves hearing stories and asking questions to learn further information + details. It’s been eye opening for me to take an “everyday” situation such as our dog Rocky going missing for the night, or me forgetting to put the lid on the vitamix blender at breakfast time, and turning it into an elaborate and exciting story with different characters, backdrops and plot twists. The whole story telling process serves as a personal affirmation for me that everything truly is written in the stars, and destined to play out as it does. When I allow myself to appreciate the flow of life — the blueberry smoothie dripping from the ceiling — and not place expectation or emotion on the situation, I see so clearly how all of the pieces, people and places add up to complete a beautiful creation of adventure + new learning. How life is exciting and messy and there is always a new story waiting to unfold around the corner. How people and experiences come into our lives like new ingredients needed to make the recipe taste just right at the very last minute. I love telling stories to my nephew about all of the things that have already happened, but also telling stories of the adventures and creation that has yet to play out. He’ll soon after reciprocate the gesture by “mimicking” back my original story with his own twists and turns and imaginary characters and it really just makes me wish adults communicated to one another in this manner. Hier ist er also... September, der Monat in dem unsere zwei Kinder das Licht der Welt erblicken werden. Diese Schwangerschaft ist eine unglaublich emotionale Reise, die sich nun dem Ende neigt. Wie ein Film zog sie an mir vorbei, der Moment in dem ich erfahren habe, dass wir Zwillinge erwarten. Wie wir erfahren haben, dass wir ein Pärchen bekommen. Das erste Mal die zwei Herzchen schlagen hören... Wie der Bauch so schnell gewachsen ist. Wie unser Sohn meinen Bauch gestreichelt hat. Die ersten Tritte die immer heftiger wurden und die Augen meines Freundes und meines Sohnes, die gestrahlt haben während den Bewegungen. Das Nächste wird der erste Schrei sein von unserer Tochter und unserem Sohn. Diese Momente sind für die Ewigkeit und ich bin Gott so unendlich dankbar für alles... Rubi ❤️ Odločila sem se, da zgodbo o prstanu, ki sem ga dobila kot darilo ob rojstvu, na koncu le razkrijem tudi vam. Ime, ki sva ga izbrala za najino hčerko, je pravzaprav našel Jan, končna odločitev je padla na 10 urni vožnji v Nemčijo (kjer je večino časa najin pogovor tekel ravno o tej pomembni temi - kako poimenovati otroka). Kmalu zatem, ko je prišla na svet, sva vedela, da sva se odločila pravilno. In bolj kot jo spoznavava, bolj kot kaže svoj karakter - bolj je najina Rubi ❤️ Simbolno sem tako ob rojstvu dobila prstan z rubinom, ki ga obdajajo diamantki, naredili so ga v @zlatarnasterle, kjer so izdelali tudi najina poročna prstana. 4 years ago...the video at the end. 😭💫 My sweet newborn boy River, that moment they put you on my chest. When I looked up and saw the people I love most, looking down at us with beaming smiles. Goldie gave you a stuffed kitty cat and said “he’s mine. My baby bruddy”. It was heaven on earth. I had that minor bleed with you at 9 weeks so in the back of my mind, the entire pregnancy....there was a chance I could lose you. And there you were, sweet chubby healthy rolls, black hair, a furry back and the biggest hands. I have never shared these photos or my birth story with River here yet but I wrote a blog post about the entire experience just days after and never set it live. I’m going to finish it and would love to share with you. Birth puts you in a beautiful magical realm where time stands still. I can’t believe I get to do this again soon. Как мы находим идеи для съемок?📷 ⠀ Из множества способов найти крутую идею, у меня лично прижился один – простой и действенный: ⠀ ▫️ Всегда сразу записывать все, что приходит в голову. Даже мимолетное и вроде нелепое. Кому-то проще делать заметки в телефоне, а я обожаю использовать блокноты. *Наверное, отдельная мотивашка не забить, а записать – это кайф от самого процесса (красивая обложка, хорошая бумага - ммм) ⠀ ▫️ А когда уже хотите раскрутить идею – садитесь и полчаса пишите любые приходящие мысли. Если не получается, то отдыхаем (желательно не в телефоне) и – снова пишем. ⠀ Вроде бы суперочевидно. Но я понимаю, что осознанно стала так делать, только потому что ее порекомендовал один авторитетный продюсер на одном из обучений. ⠀ И, конечно, еще помогает Pinterest. Особенно если задавать идею, не добавляя в запрос «фотосессия». Так проще искать именно свой путь воплощения. ⠀ Полистали карусель?⬆️ ⠀ Здесь в качестве модели выступила @kateryna_stupakova, а снимать коллегу-фотографа - это всегда немножечко вызов. Хочется найти действительно крутую концепцию. Сейчас пишу, и понимаю, что поиски «того самого образа» заняли у меня почти две недели: варианты рождались и отбрасывались один за другим… ⠀ Но вдруг наткнулась на старое фото женщины, которая развешивает белье и зажглась – то самое! ⠀ Дальше – дело техники: грамотная подготовка для реализации идеи. Отдельная радость, что сейчас крупные проекты мы организуем в команде с @empower_union – оказалось, что когда ты не одиночка, намного проще проводить необычные творческие съемки. ⠀ Наверное, как и любому фотографу, мне важно чувствовать определенную свободу в творчестве. Day 260: Ode to you Strangers. This page is full of them. But we’re all connected. Intertwined by love. Something I never thought possible from people I didn’t know. Especially yesterday. Cabin fever setting in, a family outing it was. But fk me, it was hard. Given how isolated we’ve been, we definitely haven’t mastered this. Always leaving something behind that’s of importance. Milk even! Parents of the year! Fights definitely were had. We sat down for a drink, quick bite to eat & off for a walk. Easy right. But of course Luella wouldn’t sleep. One of us pacing trying to bop her to sleep, while the other ate one handed trying to control our dog sniffing for scraps. Then sharing rocking the pram, attempting a conversation we both know we’re not really listening to. Just flailing about trying to master parenthood. But for once I smiled inside. Is this how it feels? Is this what motherhood should feel like?Getting it all wrong but enjoying the process anyway? It felt SO good. And then this lovely woman sitting next to us, walked over, put her hand on Dave’s & offered to rock, while we enjoyed our lunch. There was something ethereal about her. Angelic almost. Naturally we got talking & shared Lulu’s story, finding common ground with her also sick Granddaughter. Lunch hoovered down, we said our gracious goodbyes & parted ways. But she came back. “I want to do something for you. I want to pray for Luella”. She said. And then she softly grabbed my hand & prayed out loud for my Little Love. The most beautiful prayer, her voice ever so slightly shaking. She pleaded for a healthy child for us. That Lulu be vindicated of this illness & a cure found. That she be healed. I grabbed her hand & she held mine tighter as I cried into her. And she just stayed there letting me shatter, tears pouring out of me, holding me while I shamelessly grieved for my daughter, in the arms of a compete stranger. Sometimes it’s a serendipitous encounter of kindness that can restore you. To that beautiful stranger, if you ever see this, I know you were sent to me for a reason yesterday, & I’m so glad you were there. Das unser Leben wellenartig verläuft, hat uns mal wieder die letzte Woche gezeigt. 🌊 Im Moment fühlt sich alles wie ein großer Sturm an, tosend und aufbrausend und jede Welle ist unberechenbar. Doch irgendwie ist diese wilde Zeit auch schön, wir lernen gerade wieder einige neue Grenzen und Seiten an uns kennen und wissen dadurch noch mehr was wir wirklich brauchen. Wir wachsen im Moment mit dieser völlig neuen Situation so sehr, vor allem die Kinder! Es macht uns so viel Freude ihnen dabei zuzusehen, wie sie in kurzer Zeit viele neue Freundschaften schließen und Interesse an den Sprachen zeigen (Englisch & Dänisch). Es gibt aber auch Tage, da gibt es Tränen, weil dann doch alles zu viel ist oder das alte zu Hause vermisst wird. Kein Tag ist hier im Moment gleich und die Emotionen nehmen wir, wie sie kommen und alle dürfen hier ihren Platz finden. Das Leben ist einfach unglaublich spürbar und alles fühlt sich noch wie ein Abenteuer an. Irgendwann darf es aber auch mal wieder ruhiger werden und wenn es mir dann langweilig wird, denke ich einfach an diese Zeit zurück! Tandem nursing usually means little to no rest. This photo takes me back. The girls were about six months old at this point. I was getting very little sleep, and what I got was restless. - Our bedtime routine began around this time. We went upstairs to my bed and got them all snuggled in their sleep sacs. They often would tandem nurse in the side-lying stacked position, but this particular night Aria wasn’t having it. So Asher got the top bunk and passed right out. - These were some really tough times filled with little sleep and lots of unnecessary arguing. I thought it was my sleep deprivation that kept us constantly at odds, but I eventually realized, It’s HIM, not ME.
