I miss this. This was during a workshop of Can Can where I had the privilege of learning Pattie Colombo’s insane Tango choreography with @edsciotto Dancing with a partner is maybe my favorite expression of dance. C H A R I T Y P R I N T S // M E R C H A N D I S E Since I am sadly unable to attend any of my local protests due to the COVID19 health risks to my wife, Ive decided to launch this series raising money for The Black Curriculum, a social enterprise focused on the implementation of inclusive historical education in the U.K. as I feel that this is pivotal to ensuring equality in generations to come. Included is a photo of Jason from FEVER 333, flipping big at Reading Festival 2018, an image wed discussed using for a charitable cause in the past. Im so glad I put a pin in the idea as this is definitely the right time, supporting the relentless campaigning hes been doing since the tragic murder of George Floyd. Theres also a digital design I put together with the concept that this is an issue that cant just be rubbed out or ignored any longer. ⭐️ich wähle immer mich⭐️ Gerade passiert so viel in mir. So viel Wachstum, soviel Klarheit wo zuvor nur Nebel gewesen ist. Heute möchte ein paar Sätze mit dir teilen, welche wirkliche AHA Momente in mir auslösten: ⭐️Ich wähle immer mich, denn alle gewinnen wenn es mir gut geht. ⭐️Du kommst wegen meiner Energie und du wirst dich immer daran erinnern, wie du dich mit mir gefühlt hast. ⭐Wenn du dir nicht vertraust, tut es niemand. Wie fühlen sich diese Sätze für dich an? Wenn ich immer an erster Stelle stehe bin ich Egoist! Es zählt bei einem Meeting nicht nur meine Energie, sondern auch mein Erscheinungsbild! Wie soll jemand anderes wissen ob ich mir vertraue? So ging es mir früher sehr oft bis ich tiefer und tiefer in die Persönlichkeitsentwicklung eintauchte und sich immer mehr Dinge bestätigten, die ich für unmöglich hielt. Beispielweise das ich in mein Leben ziehe was ich aussende (Emotionsskala David R.Hawkins) und wie wichtig meine Emotionen in diesem Bezug sind. Das mein Innen sich immer auch im Außen spiegelt und das ich selbst die Architektin meiner Kreativblockaden bin, wenn ich nicht an mich glaube und mir nicht vertraue, wenn ich die größte Kritikerin meinen Ideen gegenüber bin. Eigentlich sind die oben genannten Sätze so tief und so wahr! Aber weil es so einfach ist, kommt es uns auch so unmöglich vor.... ⭐️Wenn es mir gut geht profitieren andere davon weil ich meine übrige Energie voller Liebe für sie aufwenden werde. ⭐️Wenn ich eine positive, kraftvolle Ausstrahlung habe (Energie) werde ich eine völlig andere, intensivere Wirkung auf dich haben. ⭐️Ob ich Ausstrahlung habe hängt so sehr von meinem Vertrauen in mich und meine Ideen ab. Unterschwellig spüren wir die Energien unserer Mitmenschen und reagieren oft durch intuitive Gefühle darauf. Sicher hattest schon einmal dieses Gefühl im Bauch... * Irgendwas fühlt sich komisch oder wow was für eine interessante Person, ich würde gerne mit ihr sprechen... Du darfst dich gut fühlen, dein Leben darf leicht sein und du darfst an allem was du machst Freude haben. Was sagst du? My new collection, launching today! :) The Escapologist.⠀ ⠀ Released in very limited numbers, only a few of these Collectors Edition prints are still available thanks to pre release orders from my existing collectors.⠀ ⠀ There will only be 10 of each image (in two sizes), hand printed, hand torn, signed and editioned by me. ⠀ ⠀ This is the most personal collection I have ever released. These were the only images I shot after being diagnosed with acute anxiety during 2019 and their content and message is a reflection of my efforts to overcome this debilitating condition. Once these prints are sold they will never again be available, there really will only ever be 10 of each size in the world :)⠀ ⠀ Each print will be delivered in a dated Archival box and each print is wrapped in acid free preservation grade tissue.⠀ ⠀ Thanks to counselling, meditation, medication and the support of my friends and family I did learn to overcome my anxiety, but many people are not so fortunate. Therefore I’ll be donating 20% of the proceeds from this Collectors Edition to the charity Anxiety UK.⠀ ⠀ During the weeks and months during which I sought to overcome anxiety I spent a great deal of time in some local woodland near my home, enjoying the peace, silence and majesty of my surroundings. It was my routine to take time to sit and read passages from buddhist and stoic philosophy, a process that truly helped me rebalance. And so it was, what a trip! Premier last week Thursday DEN.TRO as part of festival Dance Dance Dance Teatro das Figuras. My first experience solo dancing with myself for others on a creation of mine. Mmmmm felt special. There are moments in life when things just taste different, they feel different and gain a different dimension within the whole. Returning to the stage, the place of alchemy and transcendence after confinement, after becoming a mother, while witnessing my mother coming to an end of her life + having her come by ambulance to see the dress run made this work, this premier extra special, intense and at the same time extremely honest and human. Not to say is the first time i shared my work in my country. I am grateful for those of you that joined me on the trip. As I move further into life and life in dance, Ive witnessing myself dancing less for others and more for me and in this meeting with myself I encounter others watching me. There transparency happens magic takes place. So brief and ephemeral. So beautiful and fragile, as is life. I would love to hear from those of you who came, with this Covid thing nobody is allowed to hang around. Share your thoughts and feelings with me. I already had some beautiful ones of Villalba Clara , Silvia Vito, Paula Xavier Marante, Edite Calico, Raul Carvalho , thank you for sharing ! Thank you all the Teatro das Figuras team and specially my partner Miguel for the support and of course my wonderful babysiter Myriam for looking after Hara with so I could be totally focused doing my thing. Yaa, foto pertunjukan yg bagus adalah aspek penting bagi seorang koreografer dan juga penari untuk mengarsipkan moment terpenting dalam setiap tariannya untuk disimpan rapi menjadi sebuah CV kekaryaan. ¡Estoy muy contento de anunciarles que el nuevo lanzamiento discográfico de @lossonex ya está disponible en todas las plataformas digitales! “Bailando”, un trabajo discográfico que mantiene su origen y tradición pero se aventura a convivir con sonidos contemporáneos. Producido por ellos mismos, mezclado por Greg Landau (Susana Baca, Maldita Vecindad, Los Cojolites), Camilo Landau y masterizado por John Greenham (Billie Eilish, Queensrÿche, Los Tigres del Norte), “Bailando” es un festejo de la música de raíz y se posiciona como el nuevo sonido de la música mexicana. Los cuatro integrantes: Luis Felipe Luna Farías, Camil Meseguer Rioux, Helio Martín del Campo y Jerónimo González García, descendientes de generaciones soneras y exponentes vanguardistas de música mexicana desde hace 16 años, celebran su trayectoria con seis temas inéditos donde muestran la continuidad del son jarocho contemporáneo que ha identificado a la banda, pero que también adquiere maduración y profundidad musical. Al recorrido de estilos como el jazz, el rock moderno o los ritmos africanos y el flamenco, ahora suman sonidos modernos del trap, el rap, el neo-soul, entre otros. “Bailando” es una reivindicación del legado musical del grupo que explora a través de un estilo vanguardista; una adaptación contemporánea desde la perspectiva de lo global, pero sin dejar de estar, un solo momento, enraizado al folclore y su camino previamente nutrido. Un disco que muestra la claridad y consagración de los elementos que han alimentado a la banda a través de los años. Sus nuevas composiciones unen sus raíces con la atmósfera actual, nutrida por los criterios de cada uno de sus cuatro integrantes fundadores. Las temáticas hablan de la Jarana, el fandango, los paisajes y los símbolos del son jarocho, pero desde una perspectiva del México moderno. Asimismo, a nivel lírico posee una profunda identidad sonera y, por tanto, constituye un homenaje. “Bailando” es un disco que nos invita a reconocer, una vez más, las raíces de la música mexicana del Sotavento y, a la vez, recorre el lenguaje de nuestro tiempo.
