Hear his roar, the Blazing Lion roars for war and justice against his enimies! Son of two Scientists and raised by a tribe of natives, Cole Evans traveled to Turtle Cove after the natives told him he was ready and find his Destiny, giving him two items they found on him as a baby, a torn picture of his parents and the Red Lion crystal. After being found by Princess Shayla and the other rangers, the Red Lion called and chose him to be the Red Wild Force Ranger and leader. Adapted to the new world and his destiny he swears on his life he will protect his friends, the Animarium, and Earth. Cole is the jungle boy of the wild force family, he cares deeply about animals and wildlife. He has the the ability to communicate with animals and zords knowing if theyre happy, sad, or in pain. He can also tell if someone is telling truth or lying by hearing thier heart. Hes also new to technology but hes willing to learn! ✍🏼STORY TIME: I trace the human body not just for the purpose of drawing a figure but for the purpose of registering a person’s presence in a specific moment in time. It is an impression like that of a finger print that is unique to the individual but also seen as an anonymous mark when separated from the subject. In my art, the cycles of life inform my process and my ideas. I love the see people and things around me evolve and change. This paper trace is from my son but it culd be anyone of us once he left the room. Sometimes the figure is traced directly on canvas and sometimes, like this photo, on paper that later gets adhered to canvas. Hope this brings you a little closer to my work. This week it was time for us to give our best little buddy Doc back to the universe. FYI Doc is 100% the reason I call dogs “buddies”. There was never a lap that he didn’t want to sit on, a cat that he didn’t have to police, or a hydrant that he didn’t need to piss on (to let you know he was there). Our hearts are broken and we’ve been reminded how absolutely limited time is for everything on this rock. Hug your buddies and do something with them that they love for Miranda and I.
