Cimicifuga simplex is the latest of the bugbanes to be in bloom. Its arching flowers fill the garden with a pleasant sweet scent, unlike the earlier blooming Cimicifugas, that give this plant its common name. This wonderful woodland treasure gives a spectacular late show at the end of September and is frequently visited by bees. These little creatures are so hypnotised by the scent, that they occasionally miss the time to get home to the hive and they cling on to the flowers until the morning dew is dried off from their wings. It is important to avoid overhead sprinklers in the late part of the summer, because C. simplex is susceptible to a leaf and stem rot, that can spoil the plant. - @longhousereserve on Instagram

Iโm thinking about rituals, about cycles, about habits. Iโm thinking about the changes that happen in silence. Iโm thinking about what it takes to notice the details of my surroundings. I am learning that the score of my self questioning exists upon a thousand layers of sub-scores: the Chinese guilt, the inner child, the dance training trauma, the female shame. It feels like Iโll never be un-tired. But Iโm trying to release the bitter smoke in my guts by learning at 21 that holding grudges is not useful (it always feels like Iโm learning too late). I want to be more compassionate to all the past versions of myself, to forgive her for her unknowing and thank her for the space she gave for future knowing. Future dreaming seems irrelevant but the impossibility of it makes it that much more dreamy. Iโm imagining a world where everyone walks around in knitted garments made by my mom, where we take walks even in the rain and take shelter under trees. Kondisi ini bila tidak diantisipasi segera, maka dikhawatirkan hasil panen akan menurun tajam. Kawasan tanaman padi yang diserang hama tikus antara lain di areal persawahan Desa Cot Buket, Nicah, Cot Gapu, Matang Sagoe, Balee Setui, dan sejumlah gampong lainnya. Tanaman padiย yang digasak hama tikus terlihat jelas di bagian tengah petak sawah. Di mana bagian bawah padi menguning itu dimakan tikus. Seorang petani di Desa Cot Buket, Muhib kepada Serambi, Kamis (3/9/2020), mengatakan, para petani sudah berusaha membasmi tikus dengan sejumlah cara mulai dari menabur racun, membersihkan pematang sawah, dan rumput di sela-sela tanaman padi. Ternyata hama tikus masih saja menggerogoti padi. Munawir, seorang petani di Peusangan mengharapkan supaya dinas terkait turun tangan membasmi hama serta membantu racun tikus. โKami sudah berusaha menabur racun tikus, ada pembasmi hama campur dengan padi dan jenis pembasmi hama lainnya, namun setiap pagi ke sawah, selalu ada petakan lain yang digasaknya,โ ujarnya.
