Dopo aver vissuto sulla propria pelle la persecuzione nazista, finendo internata nel campo di sterminio di Birkenau-Auschwitz, una volta sopravvissuta, si è spesa in prima persona per tenere viva la memoria di quel che è stato, delle vittime di quellimmane tragedia, e per non permettere che la dimenticanza e loblio del tempo cambiassero i contorni e i contenuti tragici della storia.
