Hace días encontaron una zorrita en Catemu, fue llevada a VetCare quienes le dieron la atención de emergencia. Luego nos lo trajeron a nosotros, estaba en muy malas condiciones, al otro día amaneció muerto. No mostraba signos notirios de lesiones o un estado particularmente deteriorado. Luego de su muerte constatamos en radiografías que tenia impactos de escopeta disparados desde bastante distancia porque tiene perdigones en todo el cuerpo. El Zorro Culpeo es una de las especies protegidas por el Estado, esto quiere decir que no está permitida su caza, ya que se trata de un animal beneficioso cumple su rol de predador tope, junto con el Puma, manteniendo el equilibrio de los ecosistemas. One of my all time favorite preemie stories. 🥺🙌🏼❤️ I was born in Nov 1975 at 27 weeks, weighing 1 lb 12 oz. My odds of survival were 4% and I was among the smallest surviving babies born in the city of Los Angeles, CA up to that time and for many years afterwards! I was in NICU at USC Medical Center for 13 weeks. I am now 44 years old and the only condition of my prematurity is a bi-lateral moderate-to severe sensorineural hearing loss. I also have been quite underweight my whole life, but I dont think my weight issue has ever been clinically-proven to be a result of my prematurity, though I tend to believe it is! Im thriving and life is a beautiful blessing every day! To all parents of my fellow struggling warrior preemies: I read your struggles and I take all your issues into my own heart! ,I wish you all the greatest measure of love and laughter, health and happiness, beauty and blessings, peace and prosperity!!! Well, it’s official, after two very long days at the hospital (15+ hours total), I have 4 cancer demons and a blood clot near two of them. Two are above my heart (biopsy Monday), one is dangerously close to a major blood vessel connected to my heart and the other is pushing on a nerve from my T4 vertebra, but not pushing on my spinal cord (thankfully). Radiation starts Monday for the spine, they gave me 3 tiny tattoos to mark the radiation location because it is a bit dodgy getting to them as they are pretty deep inside of me. I’ve had 4 scans, 6 blood draws and an IV full of contrast to locate the demons. My doctors, nurses and surgeons are are all here for me 4 years later and they worked tirelessly the past two days to figure out what’s happening. Needless to say, I am feeling eternally grateful! All of this just before my 49th birthday on Sunday. Whew, emotions were all over the map! Despite the news sounding bad, my docs are confident we caught them all early enough to destroy them! I have been overwhelmed and overjoyed by all of the love and support from all of my dear friends, family members and people I barely know, and for that I am forever grateful and deeply appreciative! I’ve been through some of the heaviest heartache in my life in the past several years, and I had been moving through it really well because of therapy and all of you, and this time I’m going to crush it again because me and the universe have plans!!! Even with everything that has happened in Minneapolis and the pandemic, I know we will get through all of the hatred and destruction, and build ourselves back up through unity, positivity and the kindness of strangers. I have seen it happening and the TV and most of social media is just a pile of digital garbage. Hey Mac. What’s up man. I just got home from your exhibit here in LA. It’s January 18th, 2020. I rode the bus there alone, looking out the window, listening to your albums the whole way there. I did my best not to choke up on the bus haha. I stood in line alone, for like almost 3 hours my dude. It was tough, but I wanted to do it. While I stood in line I kept running through your tapes and when Good News came on shuffle I couldn’t help but to break down. The next one was PA nights. And after that Best Day Ever. The waterworks hit me hard in line, staring up at the stars listening to your words ring true through my headphones. But REALLY, you should have seen it man, all ages, all races, all genders waiting out in the cold just to see some photos of you. People all over the world really love you Mac, they really do. But none most of all than us Yinzers. At the exhibit we were able to write you a message, and As I wrote my message for you I started crying all over the keyboard as I typed “I love you Mac”, the man assisting people with writing their messages embraced me. I think I might have been the only person he saw grieving today, the wounds still feel fresh. And to be honest I may need to soak my phone in rice after typing this out. But let me get this out man. You helped shape me into who I am, inspired me, taught me about where I’m from and reconnected me to a culture and a city that runs through my veins. I see a lot of myself in you and vice versa, as many people do. That’s why we were all so proud, you injected so much positivity and ambitions into Pennsylvania kids lives and I will carry that with me to the end of time. You touched so many people over the course of your career. But for me you touched me deeper than most things along my path have, I would have given anything to have met you. To have kicked back and rolled up, to have compared Pittsburgh tatts, to have picked your brain about music, and to have just kicked it laughing like a child. But I know that time will come. But, Bella had all 4 done in one major surgery. Bone and Joint specialist Dr. Guillou rebuilt her S shaped tibia, and she had a complete femur repair. She also had her torn ACL fixed and her grade 4 luxating patella corrected. Simply unbelievable and completely life changing. What a miracle that we were able to give Bella two brand new legs and now a new life without pain and suffering! Laser activated irrigation 💥⠀ ⠀ This patient self-referred herself to my care after experiencing an ongoing discomfort with the previously treated tooth 36. The tooth was tender to the touch and she was unable to bite her teeth together on the LHS. Small FOV CBCT revealed a previously endodontically treated tooth with an area of periapical bone loss. The tooth was diagnosed with acute exacerbation of chronic apical periodontitis and endodontic retreatment was conducted over two visits.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ The tooth was treated over two visits with laser activated irrigation (LAI) at the second visit prior to obturation. The laser was used to activate NaOCl and EDTA solutions. This is one of the first cases I’ve used the Biolase Iplus from Waterlase on. Thought I’d illustrate another cool #regenerative case. Patient had caries in the tooth before it even erupted. Not sure if @rickschwartz78 or @endogenie or anyone knows the term for that? I’ve always been curious. So tooth tested vital. But you can see I pulped out a little when I excavated. As expected. I placed MTA and later composite. Final PA is from her GP 3 years later. Tooth is still vital and fine. Been 8 years now. Will hopefully get a new Pa soon. But I wanted to show this because the pics are good and I placed way less MTA than the case I depicted before this one. The main takeaway is that a big apex leads to great blood supply and likely success. Dr Hargreaves says he and the literature recommends bleach and #chlorhexidine to rinse but I’ve always just used bleach. Celebrando 10 anos! 🎂 Fazer tratamentos em amigos é (muitos concordarão comigo 😆) um factor que pode tender a que todas as complicações possíveis apareçam..... Em 2010, este 37 de um grande amigo apresentava uma fissura com sintomas típicos de um “síndrome do dente fissurado”. 🤔 Foi reabilitado com Recobrimento cúspideo com onlay, o que resolveu os sintomas por completo. 👌🏼 Passado pouco tempo, desenvolveu pulpite irreversível... 🤦🏻♂️ Foi feito tratamento endodôntico, num dente que aparentava ser fácil, mas que tinha afinal sistema canalar em C. 😬 Foi feita obturação com Onda Contínua de Condensação e reabilitação com coroa fixa total. In 2010, this 37 from a great friend Of mine had a crack with symptoms typical of a “cracked tooth syndrome”. 🤔 It was rehabilitated with an onlay, which completely resolved the symptoms. 👌🏼 After a short time, he developed irreversible pulpitis ... 🤦🏻♂️ Endodontic treatment was performed on what appeared to be an easy tooth, but which ultimately had a C-shaped canal system. 😬 Obturation was performed with Continuous Wave of Condensation and rehabilitation with full fixed crown.
