I’ll bet you never know that I was in a band when I was in college… We were called DBO, which stood for Death By Orgasm... We lived in a place called the Quiet House on Bay State Road in Boston and, let me tell you, it was ANYTHING but quiet! OK, the real story is, in the fall of 1981, one of my dorm mates, Ray, had a photography project and he thought it would be funny for us to dress up like a new wave band. Some of the clothing and buttons that the others were wearing belonged to me. One guy is wearing my dad’s World War II uniform shirt. That’s my roommate Rick, who was a geology major. I still remember tripping over his rock samples in our walk-in closet. I’ve managed to stay in touch with three other people in this photo… Definitely my favorite dorm at BU, and the best people - @suburban_voice on Instagram

A NYT article broke earlier today that 70 people have tested positive for COVID at one of SFs largest homeless shelters- this is the largest reported outbreak at a single shelter in the US. This is heartbreaking and infuriating- the city is continuing to fail our houseless folks, despite the endless warnings weve given that this is a ticking time bomb factor combined with the Citys very slow movement of people into hotels, testing of unhoused people. The Mayor must act to protect our houseless folks and move people into hotels NOW! Heres what we need from you NOW: 1.Follow @coalitiononhomelessness and Tag them on your post 2 If you have a printer at home, print out the picture attached to this post, take a selfie, and Tweet, FB, and IG to @LondonBreed with #HotelsNotHospitalBeds. 3. If you dont have a printer, take a selfie with messaging, This is a Human Rights Issue. Defend Our Community Against COVID-19. #HotelsNotHospitalBeds 4.
