Mi viejo Micky ha partido🐶, fue una decisión muy dura de tomar, tengo el corazón con una pena profunda, tengo pena por su partida, nos deja un gran amigo y miembro de mi familia que nos acompañó por 17 años. El Micky llegó a mi casa cuando tenía un año, luego de que su primer dueño decidiera que ya “no servía para competencias” (porque era un perro “fino y elegante”) porque otro perro le había comido un pedazo de orejita, así que su anterior dueño había decidido “sacrificarlo”🤦🏽♀️, gracias a eso la veterinaria, de la cual mi mamá es madrina, la llamó por teléfono y le contó lo que estaba pasando con él y así decidimos hacerlo parte de mi familia y cuidarlo y quererlo. El llegó feliz a esta casita, un poco flaco y desnutrido, además de herido pero se sanó y nos acompañó en los momentos felices y también en los más tristes como la partida de la Diana mi primera perrita, la partida de mis abuelos y mi padre. Micky era un amigo incondicional, fiel, muy cariñoso y a veces un viejo un poco mañoso😂 o de convicciones claras jajajaja. El Micky fue un luchador de la vida, cuando tenía como 10 años quedó paralizado de sus piernas traseras, y con mucha paciencia y perseverancia logró volver a ponerse de pie, esta rehabilitación fue una tarea familiar, le hacíamos masajes en sus piernas, le poníamos calorcito y así volvió a caminar, recuerdo ese día que de a poco comenzaste a caminar nuevamente, nunca volviste a correr como antes, pero pudiste tener nuevamente tu independencia. Te despedimos en familia y te acompañamos todos juntos hasta tu último aliento junto a mi hermano, mi mamá, tu hija la Alondra y tú Nieto el Baloo. Es duro dejarte partir, pero quiero pensar que estás corriendo libre nuevamente, comiendo todo lo que te gustaba y reencontrándote con todos los miembros de mi familia que hoy no están con nosotros. New Pattern: The Cruise Blanket ✨🌊 Crocheted in a simple stitch with two coordinating colorways of our hand dyed classic bulky from @sewrellayarn 💙 This project was super quick to work up and gives a statement making color pool effect without any fancy techniques 🙌🏻 We just work the right side of the blanket in one color and the wrong side in its coordinating pair! One of our most used recipe methods at #SewrellaYarn is a pour dyed method - the Cruise colorway used here is pour dyed and the crocheted result looks like this! Any of our pour dyed colorways would make a similar effect, especially when worked up in this pattern with a coordinating tonal (I used Lido Deck here). This morning I started typing and noticed that a strand of yarn had broken in the bind-off of one of my mitts! 😱 Not bad for 6-year old mitts, and fortuitous actually, because the finger side had always been waaaaay too big. To fix (see bottom mitt): 1️⃣Unravel ribbing, frogging to the row before it started and catching each stitch back on a small size 8” circular for tighter knitting 2️⃣Reduce 15% of stitches into new 1x1 ribbing (decrease after every ~8th stitch) 3️⃣Knit ribbing again until yarn is finished! 🏷Pattern: Wristers by Lisa M.
