Soft Pretzels & Buffalo Chicken Stuffed Pretzel Bites 🥨 . . . • 1 tbsp sugar • 2 tsp salt • @lidlus active dry yeast • 22 oz flour • 2 oz unsalted butter • 2/3 cup baking soda • 1 egg yolk • . . . 1. Warm 1 1⁄2 cups water to 100o F, and let it cool until it is just warm to touch. 2. Add 1 tablespoon sugar, 2 teaspoons of salt & 1 packet of yeast to the water. 3. Let mixture sit for 5 minutes, until it starts to foam. 4. Mix in yeast mixture to 4 1⁄2 cups of flour and 2 oz. melted butter to form dough. 5. Let dough rise for 1 hour in a covered, oiled bowl. 6. After dough has risen (yay!) knead dough & roll into long strips. Use strips to form classic pretzel shape OR roll flat and stuff with buffalo chicken (we again used our Instant Pot roasted chicken + @lidlus buffalo wing sauce!) 7. Boil pretzels for 30 seconds in 10 cups of water with 2/3 cup of baking soda. 8. After taking pretzels out of water, gently brush with mixture of 1 egg yolk & 1 tablespoon water. Sprinkle sea salt on top. 9. Bake pretzels for 12-14 minutes at 350o F. 10. Serve with delicious @lidlus beer cheese! . . . Cheesy garlic bread🤤🧄🧀 I was craving garlic bread so I looked up some recipes (Pinterest is life) and tried this one out. And yumm! This was so delicious, I can’t even describe how good🤤 So here’s the recipe. If you ever feel like garlic bread try this out! 1 cup mozzarella 1/2 cup almond meal 1 egg 1 tsp baking powder 2-3 garlic cloves Chopped parsley 1 tbsp butter Put the mozzarella, almond meal and baking powder in bowl. Heat in microwave for 1 min or until cheese is melted enough. Mix it all together then add in the egg. Mix until egg is all combined. If it’s abit too sticky add a tiny bit more almond meal until it ends up looking abit like dough. Line tray with baking paper, place the mixture on tray and I used a spatula to spread the mixture out. Put that into the oven for about 8-10 mins at 180degrees. Meanwhile chop up the parsley and garlic. Put that in a little bowl with the butter and then melt the butter. Take base out the oven and spread the garlic mixture over it. Then add a bit of extra cheese on top ( I used a mix of mozzarella and cheddar. About 25g of each ) Put that back into the over for another 3-5 mins and the its all done! The recipe also had a marinara sauce with it which was just 2/3 cup of passata with a bit of onion and oregano cooked in a small pan for a few minutes until it thickens a up. Garlic bread flower! Pretty and delicious! Dough: 200ml lukewarm water 3G dry yeast 300g plain flour 2g sat 10g sugar 25ml olive oil. Method: Mix the water and the yeast and set aside for few minutes. Mix all the other ingredients and add the yeast water. Make a dough. Cover with lid and rest for 20 minutes. Now mix the dough for 1 minute until smooth. Add few drops of oil in the container with lid and rest the dough covered for 2 hours. Knock the dough and decide to 4 even pieces. Roll each piece into round shape. Not too big. On the size of plan of your hand as a reference.Place garlic, spring onion , butter and salt mixture in between the layers. Leave last layer plain. Follow cutting instruction in highlights.Cover and rest for another hour before baking in 205c pre heated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown . Egg wash it before baking . Garlic mixture: One whole head of garlic , all cleaned and finely chopped, 1 spring onion ( optional) finely chopped. 1tsp sat 50g butter. Melt the butter and add the rest of the ingredients. Cook about 30 seconds. Do not brown. Cool down completely before using them. Otherwise it will melt the dough and will be impossible to work with. Bake in 205c .
