Cernícalo macho El cernicalo es una de las aves mas comunes en Chile, y facilmente diferenciable de otros tipos de halcones por su color rojo ladrillo en el manto y lomo. De tamaño pequeño, similar al del tordo o loica. Le gusta pararse en una rama alta, poste o cualquier cosa en que pueda tener una panoramica de su alrededor, vigilante a cualquier animal pequeño que corra cercano; o alguna avecilla que vuele en las proximidades. De vuelo agil y veloz, también suele detenerse en el aire mientras observa el lugar. Esta capacitado para vivir en terrenos muy secos y puede pasar largos periodos sin tomar agua. En general, se adapta a cualquier tipo de zona excepto el bosque denso. Muy agresivo, no duda en desalojar a cualquier otro rapaz que intente invadir su territorio, no impotando su tamaño. This saying literally means Each Little owl should go to its own olive tree. That is because the Little owls are frequently seen close to olive oil tree plantations. The scientific name of the Little owls (Athene noctua) makes reference to the Greek Mythology goddess Atenea, famous for being very wise, among other virtues. That is because owls in general are known as very smart birds. Noctua makes reference to the owls. This juvenile was doing his best to pose nicely on the photo. I simply love them and I always find funny to observe them in the wild. They have also been called the Common Screech Owl, Ghost Owl, Dusk Owl, Little-eared Owl, Spirit Owl, Whickering Owl, Little Gray Owl, Mottled Owl, Mouse Owl, Cat Owl, Shivering Owl, and Little Horned Owl. They are known to eat a variety of songbirds, including the European Starling. Despite this, starlings regularly displace these owls from nesting sites and takes over the nest to raise their own brood. They are monogamous and remain together for life. Helluw, ein Vogel von vielen die ich die letzten Tage fotografiert habe. Ich bin monentan am überlegen wie ich wieder mehr Struktur in mein Alltag bekomme. Heute ist so der Tag was ich mir von Anfang an gedachte habe das es passiert wenn keine Schule ist. Viel zulang wach gewesen und dafür viel zu kurz geschlafen aber trz. über 11 Uhr gekommen und somit ein Tag an dem ich nichts auf die Reihe bekomme 😩 Was ich eig. vermeiden wollte 🤷🏼♀️ Werde aber meine übermüdung dafür nutzen heute Abend “normal” ins Bett zugehen und morgen wie wenn Schule wäre aufzustehen. Bzw. nicht ganz da ich zu meiner Schule 1 1/2 std. fahre, die Zeit werde ich für Sport und in ruhe frühstücken verwenden. Etwas das ich normalerweiße nicht habe☺️ Hoffe das hilft wieder etwas Struktur in mein Tag zubekommen. — Geschichte des Tages: Wie ich heute früh den Roller hoch gemacht habe, sahsen die Vögel schon auf den Zaun. Habe die so etwas beobachtet und aufeinmal springt so eine Katze hoch. Allerdings hatte diese Katze nicht genügend schwungen und ist nur mit den vorderen Pfötchen über den Zaun gekommen und hat mit den Kopf über den Zaun geguckt. Sah mega süß aus. Den Vögel ist nichts passiert, aber alle Vögel haben die Katze angeschaut. Glaube wenn Vögel lachen könnten, hätten sie die Katze ausgelacht. 🐱🐦 Die Katze hat noch ein paarmal versucht über den Zaun zukommen hat es aber nicht geschafft. — QOTD: Habt ihr momentan eine Struktur im Alltag? — Vany❤️ - @traumweltchen on Instagram

Theyre ok! Q Station is known for their scary ghost tours, but last night the fright was real with the North Head fire putting them under threat. It was a relief to hear theyve made it through the night: We are ok!. You may have heard there was a wildfire at North Head last night which came close to threatening Q Station. The wonderful NSW Fire & Rural Fire Service managed to contain the blaze and no damage was done to the property. A massive thank you... we are forever grateful for your service! Happy to share that I got the second place in action category at traditional Vogelwarte contest arranged 8. time in Switzerland. Around 9000 pictures took part in the competiotion this year. Out of those pictures 12 was awarded in four categories. I got seven pictures in the finals and one out of those was awarded; Black Grouse in flight in winter conditions taken in Suomussalmi Finland.
