#Repost @mijunepak ・・・ Not a recent photo! #socialdistancing Thanks @chefngomes for sharing your Spinach & Ricotta Cannelloni recipe on “At Home with Mijune”! #StayHome ❤️ • Feeds 4-6 (12 cannelloni) 👉🏻 Ingredients • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil • 1 small onion, finely chopped • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped • 1/2 tsp chili flakes, dried • 1 bag (500g) frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry of liquid • 1 tub (475g) Italian style ricotta (not the smooth creamy type) • 1/2 tsp nutmeg, ground • 1 1/2 cup mozzarella, grated (reserve 1/2 cup) • 1 1/2 cup fresh parmesan, finely grated (reserve 1/2 cup) • 1 tsp salt • 1 tsp pepper • 1 box dry egg lasagne sheets or 12 fresh lasagne sheets approx. 4” x 6” 1️⃣ In a medium fry pan on medium heat, add olive oil & sweat onions until soft (no color). Add chili flakes, garlic & saute for 1-2 min. Add onion mixture to spinach, mix thoroughly. Add ricotta, cheeses, nutmeg, salt & pepper, mix well. Set aside. *Pomodoro Sauce* • Yields: 3 cups 👉🏻Ingredients • 1 – 700ml Strained tomatoes (Passata) • 1/2 small onion, finely diced • 1 bay leaf, whole • 2 large cloves garlic, finely chopped • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil • 1/2 tsp red chilli flakes, dried • ½ cup fresh basil, finely sliced • salt 1️⃣ To cook pomodoro sauce: In a pot on medium heat, add olive oil, onions, bay leaf and sweat (to cook without color) till soft. Add garlic & chilli flakes, sauté for 2-3 min. Add tomato puree, and simmer for 15 min. on low heat. Add basil and season with salt to taste. 👉🏻 To assemble cannelloni: 1️⃣ Boil a large pot of water. Season water with salt. Boil 4-6 pasta sheets just until pliable, remove & drain. Place cooked pasta sheets on baking sheet not touching & in a single layer. Repeat. 2️⃣ In a large 9 x 13 lasagne pan or casserole dish, place approx. 1 cup of pomodoro sauce to cover thin layer on bottom. Lay cooled cannelloni filling on lasagne sheets. 3️⃣ Roll up into a cylinder & place in lasagne pan. 4️⃣ Top with remaining pomodoro sauce, sprinkle with parm & mozza. 5️⃣ When ready to bake, add 1/4 cup water to lasagne pan, place in 400F oven covered in foil for 25-30 min. You spend hours coming up with your perfect plans, whether they be for lessons or workshops or events, and then they fall apart so quickly. It can be really discouraging. But it doesn’t take long to realize that Musical Empowerment is worth it. Every scrapped lesson plan meant that I got to spend time with my student, and she always brightens my day. I learned to accept that even if we don’t get to that one concept, she’s still had a good time. Every event with low attendance meant that I got to know other students and their families and hear about their experiences with Musical Empowerment. And the other teachers are such amazing people. They dedicate so much time and energy to changing their students’ lives. As a vegan cafe we go through quite a few milk cartons and unfortunately there is still no bulk packaging for plant based mylks (yet) ➡️ let’s keep pushing companies to provide some! . . We are now using our milk cartons as takeaway containers so we can give them a second life before being recycled. We’re hoping this can encourage more and more people & businesses to reuse and recycle as much as they can . . I did not collect any of these specimens myself but I am honored to be their caretaker. There is so much history in this room, so much biology and so, SO many bugs. 🎉Happy birthday Mackenzie!🎁 Mackenzie was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at age 9. It threw her family’s life upside down. She underwent 9 months of intense chemotherapy, which was particularly toxic to her young body and involved long stays in hospital, followed by another 18 months of maintenance treatment. Годі й розповідати вам про неймовірні властивості плодів каштану,прогугліть і самі побачите!🖥👀 Тож,збираємо каштанчики,ріжемо,розкладаємо по банках,заливаємо горілкою,або самогоном(домашній ще краще).🧂Закриваємо звичайними кришками з пластику або які є,ставимо у темне місце на 15діб(не менше),а краще настояти місяць.Тримати у шафі на кухні тільки в темному !Строк зберігання необмежений. Натираємо настоянкою суглоби(коліна,лікті,хребет),все,що ниє і дає про себе знати🙄😧...Моя бабуся робила компреси на хворі коліна(змочену х/б тканину накладала на суглоби,загортала теплими рушниками,тримала ніч..Дуже допомагало!☝🏻Тож,рекомендую цю настоянку у будь-якому віці,це чудова альтернатива аптечним мазям і препаратам на каштанах,де ними тільки пахне..,а натомість ви самі зробите корисний засіб власноруч!✋🏻🍃Гортайте фото і відео🤳🏻!
