Dear Shawn Mendes, Its been 6 years since you laid out your melodious voice into this topsy-turvy world. You were this cute and innocent boy who just followed his own path while giving us sweet songs. You are always something out of the box and so are your songs, which are slightly mixed with love, friendship and crushes. Soon you became a voice among the youth, with those powerful words of love that you sang with your mellifluous voice. Nobody knew that a 16 year old boy would become a pop sensation and a high school crush to millions of girls. Your positivity and self being, your kindness and generosity, your feelings towards your music made us believe what it is like to fall in love at first sight. You have helped me in times of love, heartbreak, and loneliness and i could not be more thankful. Music brings peace and tranquility in me, and you just became a part of it out of nowhere and brought happiness in my life. Somewhere I felt that you became my best friend in just few blinks of my eyes. Here are some things i learnt from your songs: 1. Treat you better taught me that we should always grow respect and understanding towards one another when we are in love. 2. You taught me to fall in the blithe love with someone i adore cause theres nothing holding me back. 3. Imagination taught me that its okay to dream things which are not real, that sometimes its okay if we cant convey our feelings to the person we love the most. 4. Youth taught me to just be myself and listen what my heart says. It triggers in me everytime I dream of being someone which everyone around thinks impossible. You have helped me overcome my fear of loving someone. I cant live without listening to your songs each and everyday. I lie on my bed at 2a.m imagining the stars above me and i am floating around while listening to your songs. Thankyou for being a small part of my life and making it as beautiful as your melody.
