Today, our cheesemongers recommend: Our Brilliant Savarin is in its prime - matured 6 weeks it has a milky taste that will become more earthy over the next few weeks. Great on your cheese plate with fruit (especially berries). Langres is famously washed with champagne and delicious with sourdough bread. Made from cows milk, this cheese is a little soft and crumbly on the inside. If you love Epoisses but are looking for something a little lighter, Langres is the perfect option. If you don’t have any champagne at home to pair it with, a red wine from Burgundy will also do well. Pecorino Calcagno is perfect shaved over pasta or a rocket salad. Made in Sardinia, Italy from sheep milk, it’s mild, grassy with flavours that represent the land with just the right balance of salt. Available from our online shop - link in bio.
