RIP Fred Willard. Fred visited Traverse City for the 2014 Traverse City Winter Comedy Festival, and he was fantastic. Aquel 14 de marzo de 1980, cuando estaba a punto de subirse a la avioneta en Unalakleet (Alaska) para rodar la carrera de trineos con perros más famosa del mundo para la serie El hombre y la Tierra, Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente les dijo a sus compañeros de rodaje que aquel era un lugar hermoso para morir. Casualmente era el día de su cumpleaños, y a los pocos minutos de levantar el vuelo, y por causas que aún se desconocen, la avioneta se estrelló llevándose la vida de Félix Rodriguez de la Fuente, magistral divulgador del mundo natural y un héroe para muchos niños a los que había transmitido su amor por la naturaleza y su compromiso con el medioambiente. Fue el divulgador medioambiental por excelencia en la España de los años setenta, además de un humanista y un activista que con su gran carisma logró concienciar a la audiencia del deber de proteger y salvar a las especies que se encuentran en peligro de extinción. Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente fue mucho más que un gran comunicador que convirtió su afición por la naturaleza en una forma de entender la vida. Su capacidad para cambiar la visión que la sociedad española de la década de 1970 tenía de los animales y la naturaleza lo convirtió en un fenómeno mediático. Con su talento, Rodríguez de la Fuente consiguió poner a la fauna ibérica en el foco de atención. Zoólogo, biólogo autodidacta, expedicionario, guía, realizador de documentales y de programas radiofónicos, y escritor, Rodríguez de la Fuente fue posiblemente el primer ecologista español en convencer con su oratoria a cientos de miles de personas. Recensione Cult: Qualcuno volò sul nido del cuculo ● Milos Forman, regista 2 volte Oscar (per questo e “Amadeus”), nel ‘75 vide consacrata la carriera con la trasposizione dell’omonimo romanzo del ‘62 di K. Kesey, raccontando una storia drammatica con alcuni piccoli sprazzi di ironia e dolcezza. ● Sia il film che il romanzo sono una denuncia del trattamento a cui venivano sottoposti i pazienti degenti negli ospedali psichiatrici, un trattamento diffidente, inumano e discriminatorio. ● Questo è uno dei 3 film che ad ora, insieme a “Accadde una notte” e “Il silenzio degli innocenti”, ha vinto i Big Five: Film, regia, attore protagonista, attrice protagonista e sceneggiatura non originale (su 9 nomination). ● Il titolo deve l’origine ad una filastrocca presente nel libro e omessa nel film ed è una metafora della condizione dei pazienti e della storia del film: Il nudo del cuculo è l’ospedale, i pazienti le uova e colui che vola è il protagonista. ● La trama è: In un ospedale psichiatrico arriva un carcerato che, per evitare la cella, si finge pazzo, così da esser mandato in questo ospedale per essere monitorato e valutato. Il suo comportamento anticonformista gli porterà amicizie e inimicizie. ● Considerato universalmente come capolavoro, una pietra miliare, un “must watch” imperdibile, all’uscita ebbe un’accoglienza non unanime, e personalmente non sono d’accordo: Visto la prima volta circa 10 anni fa non stanca mai. ● Tecnicamente parlando il film ha tanti pregi, e pochi o quasi nessun difetto (prevalentemente legati o al budget o al periodo in cui è stato fatto). Fra le cose migliori ci sono la colonna sonora e le interpretazioni. ● Non penso si possa far altro che consigliarlo senza se e senza ma. Ciao Egidio 😢 Dopo una lunga malattia si è spento nella notte tra lunedì e martedì Egidio Lotti, uno dei fondatori di San Patrignano. Al fianco di Vincenzo Muccioli sin dall’inizio, fu una figura di estrema dedizione e impegno negli anni in cui prendeva forma il metodo di recupero. . Senza riserve anche nei momenti difficili, fu saldo nella scelta di vita di dedicarsi all’impegno per il prossimo. Un impegno condiviso con la moglie Maria e il figlio Claudio, attualmente uno degli educatori del Centro minori femminile all’interno della Comunità. Per San Patrignano Egidio, originario di Cesena, rinunciò a una vita sicura e comoda per seguire come volontario Vincenzo nei primi anni Ottanta, conquistato dal grande progetto di solidarietà che divenne poi San Patrignano. Con lui furono gettate le basi dell’odierno Centro Medico, struttura sanitaria che si occupa della salute di tutti i giovani del centro di recupero. Nel tempo libero, si dedicava agli animali da cortile allevati in Comunità, che accudiva dimostrando un amore smisurato per la natura e per la vita. Sus obras Sept mouvements surprises (1966), Six cercles en contorsion (1967), Trames altérées (1968) y Cercle en contorsion sur trame rouge (1969) forman además parte del acervo del museo. Toda la gente buena en el país y en el mundo lo llorará, ha señalado su editor, Daniel Divinsky, quien estuvo al frente de Ediciones La Flor en la que se editaron las célebres viñetas de la emblemática Mafalda. Quino nació en Mendoza (Argentina) en 1932. Hijo de andaluces emigrados a Argentina en 1919, descubrió su vocación de mano de su tío Joaquín Tejón, pintor y diseñador gráfico, e inició con 13 años los estudios de Bellas Artes en su ciudad natal. Los abandonó en 1949, decidido a dedicarse a las historietas y al humor. En 1954 publicó su primera página y, desde entonces, publicó sus viñetas, dibujos e historietas en diarios y revistas de América y Europa. Con el golpe de Estado en Argentina de 1976, Quino se exilió en Milán. En 1990 adoptó la nacionalidad española y alternó residencia también entre Madrid y Buenos Aires. Reconocido como uno de los más destacados humoristas gráficos del ámbito internacional, Quino alcanzó la fama con las tiras de Mafalda. Este personaje había nacido para una campaña publicitaria frustrada. La primera historieta de Mafalda se publicó el 29 de septiembre de 1964 en el semanario Primera Plana de la capital argentina. En la serie Mafalda, Quino reflejó el mundo de los adultos visto desde los ojos de un grupo de niños. Las historias de Mafalda se han traducido a quince idiomas y se han publicado en diarios y revistas de todo el mundo. Quino nació en la región andina de Mendoza (Argentina) el 17 de julio de 1932, aunque en los registros oficiales, es anotado el 17 de agosto. Desde su nacimiento fue nombrado Quino para distinguirlo de su tío Joaquín Tejón, apreciado pintor y diseñador gráfico, con el que, a los tres años de edad, descubrió su vocación. A los trece años se matriculó en la Escuela de Bellas Artes, pero en 1949 “Cansado de dibujar ánforas y yesos”, la abandona y piensa en una sola profesión posible: dibujante de historieta y humor. Mafalda, la chica de pelo negro que odia la sopa y está en contradicción con los adultos, se publicó por primera vez el 29 de septiembre 1964 en el semanario Primera Plana de Buenos Aires. El 9 de marzo 1965, con el paso de las tiras cómicas al periódico El Mundo (en el que Quino publicará seis tiras por semana), se inicia el imparable éxito del personaje, que cruza las fronteras nacionales para conquistar América del Sur y luego se extiende a Europa, ganando una posición de liderazgo en el imaginario colectivo. A lo largo de su carrera Quino recibió múltiples reconocimientos, entre ellos la Orden Oficial de la Legión de Honor, la honra más importante que el gobierno francés le concede a un extranjero. El 2014 es un año especial, ya que Quino cumple 60 años en el humor gráfico y Mafalda cumple 50 años.
