🤩Today I had my yearly appt with my pcp. After getting weighed the nurse plugs my new weight into the computer and an alert popped up since I lost so much weight from the last time I was seen. I saw in her face the confusion before she managed to say “is your weight loss intentional?” After reassuring her it was, she sent in my pcp. I was so nervous to tell him that I started keto because I wasn’t sure what he would say or think. Not only was he so supportive and understanding, but told me that he did keto years ago and it was a wonderful experience for him. He told me how proud and happy he is for me, which was the biggest sigh of relief! They did some bloodwork in their office to check on some of my levels, so I’m praying this lifestyle is really working for me 🤞 ***Edited to update: bloodwork came back in normal range.
