The picture on the right, while I look kind of sweaty (I just took a spin class and wandered into Anthropologie), means so much to me. It was my “holy sh!t, I did this!” moment. I saw the dress on the rack and it was a size 6. I thought no way would I fit into a 6, I never have in my entire life but something told me to try it on. I did, and it fit like a glove. That was truly a moment I will never forget. I texted this picture to my mom and sister immediately to show them and almost as proof to myself that I did it. - Size 14 (April 2018) to size 4 (today). I also won first place in a pinup contest, thus the fancy “after” picture!
- Brand new to this sub, and boy am I gonna like it here! This dress was my first ever finished garment. The back zipper was a little wonky in the end, but the belt disguises it nicely. Pattern is from Simplicity and the fabric is simple cotton from Hancock.
