I always show the ‘fat ➡️ fit’ photos but actually I was probably at my most unhealthiest in this picture. At the time I still thought I was fat and needed to lose more weight, I was barely eating, I’d binge because I was so hungry, then I’d vomit because of the guilt. I’d fill up on water before a meal, every morning I’d nearly faint if I got up too soon. Looking at that photo now I look pale and tired with sunken dark eyes, not happy and full of life. I’ve learnt so much about myself over the last few years but the biggest lesson I’m learning is that it has never been about the weight and has always been about the relationship with myself. I was so fed up of that yo yo lifestyle and the thing that got me out of it wasn’t dieting, it was finding a passion. I’m still learning and still working on the relationship with myself but rather than putting all of my energy into being less I’m putting a hell of a lot of energy into being more! Gocup: Thank you booking.com for guiding me to the Rivercrest Appartments in Gocup, ten minutes outside Tumut. Two appartments on a farm up a country road so quiet it doesnt appear on maps. They have a fantastic view across the Tumut River Valley to Great Dividing Range on the other side of the valley. All these pictures and videos were taken from the balcony at dusk and dawn. Peserta datang dari beragam latar belakang mulai dari pelanggan setia KAI Access, complain case customer, komunitas dan blogger yang latar belakang hobbinya beda-beda pokoknya harus variatif biar KAI dapet banyak insight dari pelanggannya. Tahun ini pula Sahabat KAI pertama kami tanpa Kak @annepurba_ tapi Alhamdulilah kami sangat dibantu sama Bu Manager cantik @ulyjulia . A CRACKDOWN on drug gangs has resulted in 50 arrests and the confiscation of drugs and over £20,000 over the last two weeks. Officers from across #Warwickshire Police executed warrants at addresses across the county – including homes in Leamington, Stratford and Rugby – and carried out various vehicle stops, as part of a focus on targeting county lines drug dealing. It was Warwickshire Police’s response to the national county lines week of action, coordinated by the National Crime Agency (NCA) and the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC). A police spokesperson said they had seized ‘significant amounts’ of heroin, crack cocaine, cocaine and cannabis, while safeguarding vulnerable people and people at risk. Vehicles, more than £20,000 in cash, imitation firearms and knives, and 41 phones suspected to be linked to drug dealing were also recovered – vital in disrupting the county lines movement and providing officers with key intelligence. ‘County lines’ activity involves a group from a large urban area travelling to smaller locations to sell drugs. They may challenge an existing group from the local area or another county lines group in order to take over the local market – which often causes an increase in violence. The groups travel between urban and county locations on a regular basis to collect drugs and deliver cash. They will use local properties as a base for their activities – often acquired by force or coercion, referred to as ‘cuckooing’. Det Insp Chris Cook said: “This targeted activity on county lines gangs demonstrates how our officers are working tirelessly to disrupt and dismantle drugs supply and protect the young and vulnerable people who are exploited by them within our communities. “This may have been two weeks of activity but this disruption will not stop and operations such as these are very much ‘business as usual’ for us. “With 50 arrests made, various warrants served and cars stopped we have significantly disrupted county lines activity across the county and have safeguarded a number of vulnerable people. “Tackling county lines drug dealing remains a priority for Warwickshire Police... full article on our website - @leamingtonobserver on Instagram

Today is my dia-versery! If you’ve known me since 2007, I apologize because these posts are probably getting old. Just imagine if you actually HAD diabetes since 2007! :’) in the first photo I was undiagnosed and getting sicker by the day. Thankfully I didn’t go into diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) before I got to the hospital. . . I’ve never posted the second picture before, because I am unrecognizable. I am 80 lbs, 5’7” and SICK as hell. I looked like shit and I felt like shit but this picture makes me laugh because my mom and I joked around and said, “is this how diabetics have to eat?”. Whenever I tell the story of my diagnosis I always talk about how I was so afraid I’d have to start eating salad. If you’ve known me for awhile you also know I forking hate salad, lettuce, anything leafy and green. Over the years I’ve answered with a lot of “YES, I can eat that” and learned a lot about how to take care of myself. It’s never been easy. But it’s getting better with technology and experience. . . This year is 13 years living life as a type one diabetic. Now I’ve officially lived most of my life as a type one! I’ve lived with this disease long enough to even experience the actual medical name shifting from juvenile diabetes to plain old type one diabetes. I’ve done multiple daily injections, 2 different insulin pumps, and now with a continuous glucose monitor (thank gawd). . . I think this year my message is going to be that A.) insulin is too forking expensive. This needs to change before more people die. And B.) please be aware of the symptoms for your sake and your loved ones. If you are extremely thirsty, dehydrated, and peeing CONSTANTLY you need to call your doctor. And I’m not talking like “wow I was out in the sun all day” thirsty, this is some next level shit. There are other symptoms as well like muscle cramps, fruity breath, blurred vision, and fatigue. Happy Birthday Frankie, and Bon voyage Grace! . Seems like just a few weeks ago I was in a cafe in Nice with these two celebrating Carnaval, and enjoying pre-parade petit dejeuner. (How we didn’t get sick traveling for Mardi Gras mid Feb is a miracle.) . Today, Frankie goes to 11, and Grace goes home to New Orleans. Yes, seeing her in her packed car, GPS set due south brought me to tears, but I can’t blame her for wanting to be where she grew up. I asked her almost 4 years ago to come up to help me open @antique_bar_bakery and I was lucky enough to have her stay all this time. Craving The Crescent City is a yearning that has moved many, and I know well what it means to miss New Orleans, but gently singing of nostalgia over a trumpets wail feels halfhearted as my girl heads over the horizon. Today I recommit to myself. This is hugely important. As a mom and wife I constantly find myself putting me last. I get everything else done for my family first leaving myself the last ten minutes of the day when I’m exhausted to do my work. My body is suffering postpartum. Two weeks ago I threw my neck out really badly and therefore my PT exercises for my prolapse and diastasis recti have been completely neglected. I am feeling it. As of today that changes. Every morning I intend on starting the day with a quick journal of my daily intention, goal and gratitude. This small acts gets my mind clear and is a task I can do with a wild toddler awake. I woke up a little earlier today to accomplish my journaling while both kids were still asleep and Mike is at work. I love my family but taking care of myself has to come first. Here’s to a great first day. 👊🏼 Now I’m going to drink my coffee and do some PT exercises. ☕️ If you’re a mama and struggling to take care of yourself mentally or physically know you aren’t alone. So this is a bit jarring to see, but over the last 3 years Ive changed a bit! I somehow got bigger than I was here, and Ill continue to get smaller until I can afford to get some skin chopped off, and its going to be pretty mind blowing when that happens. Even since starting climbing properly at the start of lockdown Ive changed even more and need to replace my harness soon as its getting pretty loose already. A lot of people have helped and been involved in the journey and Im grateful to everyone, from both personal and professional aspects it really means a lot. Im a totally different person (although not different enough for some 😂) and Im much happier now than I ever was before. @siobhandaniellestrength has been amazing all the way through the process, be it starving myself like a moron to now working with @tiny_titan__ and working towards the ultimate goal of being smaller and stronger! It was a very different but beautiful ANZAC Day dawn experience today.
