Iāve gained hair (lots of it). Iāve gained multiple surgeries (or lost things from that? Like tonsils, cysts, etc. š ). But more than that, Iāve gained so many incredible, once in a lifetime experiences. Iāve gained an incredible support system and wonderful friends. Iāve gained self confidence and self esteem. Iāve gained self love and self forgiveness. Iāve gained courage and fortitude. I canāt wait to keep gaining. š„° So thankful to my wonderful dear friends (too many to list). Up until a few months ago I wouldnāt have let hardly anyone see me without make up as I had gotten so many of the comments (seen on the left ) as a teenager whenever I wouldnāt wear it (rare occasion). I was incredibly insecure about my skin, complexion and how pale I looked and having people say these words, even though they may have thought nothing of it has stuck in my head for years and made me very self conscious to even be seen without make up in my own house with family and friends. It then became a catch 22 because whenever I would wear it I would get the comments that are seen on the right hand side of the picture! Itās ironic, right? Even though I was on a show celebrating beauty, I still have my own insecurities. I have learnt that other peopleās comments DONāT define you. It was a difficult lesson to learn but it DRAMATICALLY changed my happiness once I learned it. You are beautiful. Whether you wear makeup or not. You are perfect. Whether you wear makeup or not. You are loved. Whether you wear makeup or not. I got this photo idea from @charlottepeirce_ Iāve learned A LOT about confidence and how to not care what people think recently, and itās made a huge difference to my life!
