Luscious Leaves Four end rhyme quatrains written in Iambic Pentameter ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••Writing entirely in meter and with as much alliteration as possible is something that I wanted to undertake for the first time. Surprisingly, I couldn’t find any examples of on Google of this having been done, although it surely has, even if seldom. I would highly recommend trying to write alliteration in meter as a one-off challenge. Not just for the gratification of being able to pull it off, but for the likely enhanced appreciation of words and their sounds in the aftermath. I dont know if Ill pursue it again, but Im glad that I did. This piece is also my submission for the current Your Heart Beats Proud prompt, which was to write about Autumn, yet without using the words: Autumn, Fall, Red, Orange, or Yellow.
