Recently I was reminded yet again why I started this journey. A few months ago I started to believe that I wasn’t really helping or inspiring others. I thought that I was mostly getting remarks for my body and that’s not why I started this journey though. It wasn’t for attention or remarks - it was for empowering people to live their lives and to pursue their dreams. So that’s exactly what I’ve been doing these last few months - living and pursuing some of my wildest dreams, but just not on the internet. I needed to feel some sense of purpose and I found that while getting my hair and makeup done during @Kcfashionweek a few weeks ago. A new model friend told me that her Mom had sent my recent post about confidence and told her to read it. She was then later sitting next to me, as we were getting ready to walk the runway together, and telling me how inspiring I was to her and to her Mom. It was in that moment that I realized my purpose. It had been there all along - to inspire others through telling my story. I know my truth is exactly what others need to hear because I sometimes need to hear it too. So my hope is this message reaches someone who needs to hear this today - YOU are inspiring and your truth is exactly what others need to hear. 🎉 . .
