隅田川橋梁群ライトアップ〜勝鬨橋〜 第二弾は重要文化財の勝鬨橋。 隅田川で人が渡れる橋は27あるが、このうち重要文化財は、清洲橋、永代橋、勝鬨橋の3つ。 中で威風堂々たる王者が勝鬨橋だ。 名称からして猛々しい。 勝鬨（かちどき）の名は、明治38年（1905）1月18日、日露戦争の旅順陥落を記念して有志により「勝鬨の渡し」が設置されたことによる。その後、架橋への機運が高まって、昭和8年（1938）着工、昭和15年（1940）6月14日開通した。 折しも日中戦争が激化する中、勝鬨の名は民衆を鼓舞する意味でも相応しいとされたのであろう。 勝鬨橋は日本で現存する数少ない可動式跳開橋で、いわゆる跳ね橋。かつては隅田川を行き交う大船のために、真ん中から二つに分かれて上へ開いていた。その操作を司る監視塔が橋の真ん中両側に残っており、この部分の重厚な石の造形は殊に美しく、もっとも勝鬨橋らしい。 都電もこの橋を渡っていた。しかし、交通量の増加に伴い、昭和45年（1970）11月29日をもって開閉を停止、10年後には機械部への送電を取り止めて可動部もロックされ、現在は跳開することはない。 勝鬨橋は２年前に築地大橋が開通するまでは、隅田川でもっとも下流にある橋であった。20年以上前からブルーとグリーンのライトアップが行われてきたが、今回のライトアップでは、ジャパンゴールドとブルーのコントラストに。昼間とは打って変わり華やかである。 Of the 27 bridges across the Sumida River, three of them are designated as important cultural properties:Kiyosubashi Bridge, Eitaibashi Bridge and Kachidokibashi Bridge.Of these, Kachidokibashi is the majestic king of the Sumida River. #勝鬨橋#かちどき橋#勝鬨の渡し#隅田川#橋#ライトアップ #隅田川橋ライトアップ#隅田川橋梁#隅田川橋梁群ライトアップ #東京都中央区#東京#東京夜景 #リバーサイド #kachidokibashi#kachidokibashibridge#sumidagawa#lightup#riverside#tokyo - @naosuke796 on Instagram

It’s been one long HARD parenting week.. I’m trying to keep the vibes high & feel all the Long Weekend Feels✨ Yet when your a mama & a business owner everyday kinda feels like the same day, right!? 🤩 It’s been a challenging week during this 2-1 nap transition. After a consultation with a sleep expert (to get some more info, advice & confidence), it started off okay by extending the first nap by 15min every 3 days, then we made it to a 10:30am first nap and after a few days, it was downhill from there, fussy, cranky, overtired that led to either no afternoon nap with a early bedtime, night wakings &/or super early morning wake ups at 5:30am 🤪 I felt like I was right back in the sleep deprived newborn stages... so I listened to my intuition and pulled a full stop, back to reading sleepy cues doing 2 naps if that’s what he needs and we’ll try the transition another time. With this, lack of sleep, family adventures & work its been a longgg week. There’s been fights, tears, anxiety & all the emotions that come along with parenting. Huge win for Bellevue! We are #HQ2 @pugetsoundbusinessjournal reports that Amazon just inked lease for 2 million square feet of office space in downtown Bellevue. This brings the amount of office space that Amazon will have in current and planned buildings in #BVUE to more than 4.8 million square feet and will bring the total Amazon employees in Bellevue to 25,000 by 2025. At 600 feet, the 555 Tower will have 42 stories and will be 150 feet taller than any existing high-rise in Bellevue. The full-block West Main campus consists of three 16- to 17-story towers with bridges that create connectivity between buildings. Together the towers have 2 million square feet of office. Construction of both projects began earlier this year, and theyll be done in 2023.
