Cuando peatonalizaron el centro de Sevilla, se decidió que era el momento de hacer «limpieza general» y restaurar los muros de la catedral. En la Calle Alemanes, conforme iban quitando la negra suciedad que cubría la catedral, fueron apareciendo unas extrañas inscripciones de color rojizo. Estas inscripciones son letras, símbolos, números y dibujos. También se visualizan nombres de personas al igual que en los grafitis que se hacen en la actualidad. Estas inscripciones se las llaman vítores. Anteriormente ya lo hacían los legionarios del imperio romano para decorar banderas y estandartes. In the beginning, you get quite big support from them, until you actually get on their level or even gonna move higher. ⠀ It hurts. This is part of your growth, and this pain will come away in the future, but when you grow, you will be hurt. Especially over social media. Your friendship circle may change, may become smaller, and here you may get tonnes of haters, who wait for only one thing - get their dose of attention. Through your tears and hate. ⠀ So is it worth having a big brand? Yes, it is. As soon as you gonna move on to a new level, things become much better. You will get new friends. New possibilities. New connections. And new goals. Until you will decide to move to the next level. ⠀ Grow your brand. Develop yourself and your possibilities. Às vezes o que falta é a coragem de assumir as responsabilidades e as rédeas das nossas vidas. Precisamos de tempo de elaboração, precisamos nos preparar internamente para tomar uma ação, completa. ⠀⠀⠀⠀ E como fazer isso no dia a dia? Exercendo empatia, tentando se colocar no lugar do outro para entender o que ele está vivenciando. Quando fazemos isso, podemos ser quem somos, vamos aceitando as imperfeições também, as nossas e as dos outros. Vale, inclusive, aplicar sempre um filtro aqui na internet. Muita gente publica um mundo ideal. Quando não me encaixo, dá ansiedade e sofrimento. Às vezes o jovem fala disso no telefone. Como dosar? The Farnese Hercules (Italian: Ercole Farnese) is an ancient statue of Hercules, probably an enlarged copy made in the early third century AD and signed by Glykon, who is otherwise unknown; the name is Greek but he may have worked in Rome. Entre os ícones da Coleção do Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro está a escultura em bronze polido Mademoiselle Pogany II, de Constantin Brancusi (1904-1957), conhecido como o patriarca da escultura moderna. Margit Pogany (1879-1964) era uma estudante de arte húngara recém-chegada a Paris quando posou para ele.⠀ ⠀ Brancusi trabalhou muitos anos nessa escultura, fazendo simplificações até a última versão. Exposta em mármore no Armory Show em Nova York, em 1913, foi ridicularizada pelo público e pela crítica, que alegaram que a obra pareceria mais um ovo do que o busto de uma mulher.⠀ ⠀ A Mademoiselle Pogany II do MAM Rio, de 1920, foi escolhida no ateliê de Brancusi pela artista Maria Martins e pela jornalista Niomar Moniz Sodré Bittencourt, que dirigiu o museu por dez anos. A obra foi doada pelo casal Stella e Roberto Marinho em 1952. Em julho de 1978, a escultura enfrentou bravamente o trágico incêndio ocorrido no Pavilhão de Exposições do MAM Rio. Danificada, apareceu no mês seguinte na capa da revista Arte Hoje n. 14, com o título “O MAM renascerá”.⠀ ⠀ A escultura foi restaurada por Edson Motta entre 1978 e 1980, quando voltou ao museu. Em 1980, tornou-se imagem de selo postal brasileiro. Entre os estudos que a escultura suscitou está o artigo da pesquisadora Ana Chaves, que o MAM republica. • Escape - Normal ⚡️• Time and time again I’m stuck with the notion of no growth. What does it mean? How does someone stay stagnant for so long? Could it be their mentality towards their own failures. So many people look at these and dismiss them as their identity; something they’ll be stuck with their whole life. But what if there’s meaning beyond that. What if failures are just steps that are put before you, all you have to do is move onto it, and higher. Growth is achieved by learning from your failures, not bottling them down into some deep dark place that comes up in full force to torment you at the worse possible times. So weird to think that watching a couple of years back I used to binge content creators on YouTube on avoiding certain mistakes and becoming a better photographer. One point that kept repeating is that everyone wants to go away somewhere pretty to take photos because they think the place they live has no good spots for a photo. Which is the mindset I had and why I never went out to take photos unless I was abroad or out of my hometown. In every single video, the creator would talk for what felt like a lifetime about how false that mindset is and that if you train your eye and try enough you will capture amazing images even in your back garden. I remember ALWAYS skipping that part to get to the next one, which was such a toxic mentality to have. It would have been easy to fill in the gap with earth, but nobody did it, as the route was not an important one.
