Wiecie co w chorobie jest najgorsze? Oprócz cierpienia, które ze sobą przynosi, kradnie nam coś ważnego. Ludzie zdrowi w pełni tego nie zrozumieją, ludzie chorzy pewnie wiedzą o czym tu napiszę. Choroba potrafi kawałek po kawałku odbierać nadzieję a tym samym zabija w człowieku to co najważniejsze- chęć do walki. Niszczy radość z życia w jej miejsce wkładając zwątpienie i smutek. Sam jak widzicie, wycofałem się, ale wracam, bo zdałem sobie z czegoś sprawę. Nie mogę się poddać. Nie mogę w żaden sposób winić innych za to, co przytrafiło się mi. Najciężej jest zmagać się ze swoimi demonami a mimo to umieć wykrzesać z siebie uśmiech dla drugiego człowieka. Walczyć wewnątrz siebie a do tego wciąż być ostoją dla bliskich, którzy nas potrzebują. Łatwo jest narzekać. Zamknąć się w sobie i winić Boga czy też los za to, co nam się przytrafiło. Trudno też jest mówić o swoich problemach, ale z perspektywy czasu wiem, że łzy oczyszczają. To wtedy docenia się ludzi, którzy są przy Tobie. A ja mam to szczęście, że kilku stoi przy mnie murem. Ważne w tym wszystkim jest coś jeszcze. Cierpię na niewydolność nerek, jestem po przeszczepie jednej. Mój organizm odrzuca ją już siedem lat i właśnie postanowił podwoić siły. Wkrótce może czekają mnie ponowne dializy. Moje ciało zdobi wiele blizn i cięć i wiem, że będą kolejne. Nie słyszę już dobrze, często nie mam sił na nic. Dwa razy stalem oko w oko ze śmiercią. Gdy noc nadchodzi, boje się własnych myśli, biorę już antydepresanty bo czasem te myśli są nie do zniesienia. Lecz jeśli byście mnie spytali, czy gdybym mógł się cofnąć w czasie i być w pełni zdrowym, lub zostać i zmagać się z chorobą, to... Nie. Nigdy nie zamieniłbym się na nic innego, bo cierpienie uszlachetnia i dzięki niemu jestem tym, kim jestem. I Wy także nigdy nie żałujcie. Wszystko ma swoją drugą stronę. Dzięki temu co przeszedłem wiem, jak wygląda prawdziwy strach, nadzieja, radość, ból. Wiem, ile łez może wylać człowiek. I dlatego gdy piszę o tym w swoich książkach, jestem z Wami całkowicie szczery. Dziękuję Wam za tak liczne wsparcie. Today is the eve of Rosh Hashanah and also my birthday... I am sharing with you today a gift I made for my son who will be five years old towards the end of November. This year we are doing a pirate birthday party and he is very excited and counting the days for the celebration, and so am I ! A few years ago I made him a pirate kit, that now he will be getting it. The kit includes a felt pirate treasure map, sword, notebook with a golden feather pen, compass, treasures, and many more things. The treasure map is of an area called Rajasthan in India. Its not for nothing that he gets a pirate kit from me that I love so much, and not because of the obvious that I love him. Except that I invested in this kit for hours upon hours of sewing, eventually, Im looking at it and I realized I would never be able to sell it. And as much as I had a hard time making it, I love it. And as much as it is sometimes not easy for me with my child, I will never give up on us. My son is the biggest birthday present Ill ever have. I do not know if I will have more children and it is clear to me that it is not easy to be an only child. To get where we need to go as a society, we have to THINK in new ways, ACT in new ways, and CONNECT in new ways. Our collective thoughts, actions, and communication have led us to the point where, today, almost 200 million people in America are overweight or obese, over 125 million people have lifestyle-related diabetes or prediabetes, and nearly 70% of the population is on prescription drugs. This is NOT normal. It’s not even remotely close. And how do you think this level of ruinous health affects our ability to communicate with each other? To listen? To understand? To perspective take? To partner for a brighter future? Our beauty and greatness as a human family is being debilitated by the minute. But this is something that WE have the power to change. Again, our collective thoughts, actions, and connection (or lack thereof) has created the situation we’re in today. Clearly, the way we’ve gone about healthcare and the treatment of disease DOES NOT WORK. Like it or not, the results speak for themselves. And the systems of politics, education, and employment have been falling apart before our eyes. We can continue to accept it as business as usual, or we can see this as our greatest opportunity for change. One thing is for certain, we have to expand our minds and think differently than we ever have before. And I will do everything in my power to be a resource for that expansion. GRW Full Biography #GRW “All my songs are short stories populated with fictional people, some of which are me. Every song I write, no matter how sad or strange, has a little joke in there…” Gary Russell Wertz (GRW) started his musical career as a youngster in the #NewYork #Punk scene of the early 1980s, playing CBGB’s when he was 14 years old. Inspired by his heroes from the #Britishinvasion, #GaragePunk, American Hard core and #CountryandWestern, Gary began writing, singing and recording his own songs at an early age, recording his tunes on a beat up Tascam 4 track. At 20, Gary joined the quirky pop combo the #Mommyheads and moved west to #SanFrancisco. He spent the 1990s in the artistic firmament of the #BayArea scene, heavily involved in painting, street art, fiction writing and playing drums for the psych-noise groove music disaster known as Mars Bonfire. The dawn of the 21st Century saw Gary emerged as lead singer and creative force behind the “classic rock” inspired band Hot Mute, releasing an EP and a well received eponymous L.P. The “Aughts” also saw the release of his first solo album (The Natural) under the initials “GRW” – producing, writing and playing every instrument. 2007 heralded the beginning of an intense musical relationship with the fine artist and genius songwriter Kyle Ranson. Recording as #StrawberrySmog, they proceeded to unleash a masterpiece trilogy of #PsychedelicFolk albums (Purgatorious, 2&3 and their latest, 2018’s Forevers) all produced by Gary. In 2011, another GRW L.P., the hard rock inspired “Wet Rocks” emerged on the desert rock label Treasure Craft. Gary has had a long and fruitful collaboration with David Catching of Eagles of #DeathMetal fame, recording at Rancho De La Luna in Joshua Tree, Ca.- contributing several tracks to Catching’s solo L.P. “Shared Hallucinations Pt.1” Living the life of a #RegenerativeFarmer and Animal Rescuer in #MendocinoCounty, #California for over a decade, Gary produced many artists at his SACRED DOG Studios- including the reggae of Desmond George Smith,art #rockband Arms + Legs and the spooky #folk duo Pale Horse and, under pseudonyms, two stylistically very different solo records - @grw_music on Instagram

Vi har vært på mange turer i hele Norge for å delta på messer, og har blitt så utrolig godt mottatt overalt med luene våre. Tusen takk alle 😘 For snart 4 år siden kom vi til ett punkt der vi måtte tenke litt nytt for å kunne fortsette med det vi liker så godt. Luesalget gikk nedover og etter noen runder med oss selv ble Stofflykke til, en butikk/nettbutikk med stoffer og sytilbehør. Kanskje gikk vi oss selv litt i næringen når vi begynte å selge stoffer til andre flinke sydamer 🙊 Men vi har ikke angret! ❤️ Det som skulle bli en liten sidebutikk til Luefabrikken, ble raskt til noe større. Vi er i dag 7 ansatte i Stofflykke & Luefabrikken, hvorav 4 er på heltid. Men nå er tiden inne for litt forandringer. Litt vemodig er det, men også veldig riktig for oss. Fra 1.januar er det kun Mummi, Streken og firmabestillinger vi kommer til å fokusere på. Dvs at vi avslutter salget av de andre luene vi har. Much has been said about this great icon of mma and the world of sports. He is definitely one of the greatest in the octogon but I think that it was his personality, demeanor, dedication to the martial arts and his professionalism that lifted both himself and the UFC to the level they are today. For his last fight UFC 217, he, along with other fighters that needed to be photographed for that event and other events that were soon thereafter, were brought in for a special photo shoot to get specific looks and images that were required for the artwork for those events. This was before the athletes would have been in training camp and its always a crap shoot as to if the athletes will be in shape to be photographed. Athletes are flown in the day before, given their schedule for the following day, and expected to follow that schedule. GSP gets in late the night before and were told that he has a severe cold, bronchitis, and hes scheduled first up at 9am in the morning. We suggest moving him to later but he decides to keep his scheduled time. 9am he shows up, looks great even though he hasnt fought in years, completely picture ready even though he hasnt started his fight camp yet, doesnt even mention being sick and not once complained about all the things we were asking him to do given that he hadnt been photographed for a long time. This is a guy that is one of the greatest and his professionalism that day was unparalleled and should be what others strive for. In contrast there were other fighters that day who completely disregarded the schedule so when they turned up, if they turned up at all, they had to wait or make others wait who came at their scheduled time which in turn compromised our time and what we were able to get from the fighters. A couple were so out of shape that they either refused to be photographed without their jersey or the images were barely useful. The lady argued that we can and I argued no, we cant. I argued you have no control over what just pops in your head but rather what you do when they do pop in.- - Heres my thinking and Id love to know yours!- - Its like a song that pops in your head. You didnt even think about it, but it came. Now you cant get it out. Yes you can. Start consciously singing a different catchy song in your head and I can almost guarantee you cant keep thinking/singing the previous one. This is my thought on this. You can do something. Replace negative thoughts with positive ones. But your not in control of what just randomly pops in. She was adamant that you could.- - She is in sobriety like me, though new to it. She said she didnt think about drinking anymore. Ok, neither do I.... in general. But a random thought still pops in from time to time. I have tools to deal with it, but I couldnt just stop it from popping in. She seemed to not realize that she stopped thinking about it, because shes broken the cycle of the addiction and her body and mind are reacting accordingly. I have yet to meet an addict that a random thought does not pop in every blue moon.- - So do you agree, were not in control of what pops in our head or we are? I argue that we are not but we control our overall mindset and attitude that diminishes those thoughts from occurring. We just cant stop them from randomly popping in. DER GÖßTE FEHLER BEIM ABNEHMEN Hey Sportsfreunde, ich hab immer mal wieder darüber nachgedacht was wohl der größte Fehler war, den ich beim Abnehmen gemacht habe und ich bin mir sehr sicher dass es das „zu schnell zu viel wollen“ ist. . Damit bin ich mehrfach so richtig auf die Schnauze gefallen, denn es hat mich immer in einen Teufelskreis manövriert. Hoch motiviert mit 2000 kcal am Tag gestartet, an trainingsfreien Tagen natürlich noch weniger und zu essen gab es natürlich nur „cleanes Food“, keine Ausnahmen, denn jetzt wird voll durchgezogen. Hat dann auch zwei Wochen geklappt, um dann in die erste Fressattacke zu verfallen. Danach habe ich mich dann natürlich schlecht gefühlt aber hey esse ich halt zwei Tage nur 1000 kcal und dann passt das schon. Dass das völliger Mist ist, ist mir heute klar, denn geschafft habe ich es nie an diesen Tagen nur 1000 kcal zu essen. Der Frust wurde also größer und was habe ich gemacht wenn ich frustriert war? Genau, gefressen! Wenn es richtig „gut“ lief auch mal drei Tage am Stück und Zack war alles an Gewicht wieder drauf oder ich war sogar schwerer als vorher. Da war die Frustration dann auf dem Höhepunkt und man hat das Kapitel Diät mal wieder ad Acta gelegt um sich weiter rund zu futtern. . Man darf einfach nicht erwarten, dass man die Kilos die man sich über Jahre angefressen hat, in 10 Wochen wieder los wird. Deswegen unbedingt langfristig denken und die Ernährungsform finden, die euch eine dauerhafte Ernährungsumstellung ermöglicht. Macht euch nicht verrückt, genießt euer Leben, verbietet euch nicht alles und macht keine Raketenwissenschaft aus dem Abnehmen. . Well it’s safe to say I fell in love with outdoor rock climbing last week. It was amazing to get acquainted with such an amazing sport, enjoy the outdoors, get exercise and really test my comfort level. We went to @mec to get all the gear we needed, learned a few of the key techniques via @youtube and we were off to Squamish for 3 days of climbing! We found that Smoke Bluffs had an amazing selection of beginner and intermediate routes that were super easy to setup for toproping 👌🏼 Anyone got any climbing spots you’d recommend I’d check out? - @andrew.bobo on Instagram

Meet @maya_noelle_prediger , my niece. Maya recently got the main role in the 1st charitable Romanian movie, benefiting @hospice_casa_sperantei – one of the NGOs @ourbigdayout supported for many years just as Maya is one of the children volunteers supporting @ourbigdayout ever since she was 4 y.o. In the early years, I only asked her and Luca, her brother, to donate sweets and toys. Luca was more generous, I admit, but both gave as much as they could every year. When she was 6 y.o., Maya volunteered at her 1st @ourbigdayout activity – partaking in creative workshops organized for children living in state institutions. After a couple of years, she assumed a more essential role, joining the rest of the volunteers at the warehouse-preparing presents for the less fortunate, sorting socks by size, counting toilet paper and food supplies, cleaning the floors, taking the garbage out... anything needed, she and her brother were doing it. Maya is a child exposed to our societys systemic injustices from an early age–just like many of our volunteers’ children are. Maya didn’t accept to be remunerated for this role, though she was offered. At 12 y.o., she decided that the money would be better put to use where there’s a real need. In the movie she portrays a girl her age, diagnosed with cancer, that starts losing her hair and she has to shave it off. Hence, Maya concluded that she, too, should shave her hair. All of it! She came to this decision by herself, understanding that this is the reality of her character and of so many children. I am in awe of Maya’s clarity and how naturally she can distinguish, at 12 y.o., the right from the wrong. I’ve never been as proud of her as I am now. And on Sunday, when I get to use my right to vote, I will do it mainly for her, for her brother and for all the generations that follow. They are the answer to the change we so desperately seek, but we are responsible for giving them the means and the tools. We have to raise them by example, in a way that is less focused on individual values and more on community values, where empathy towards your peers prevails. Vou falar hoje pra vcs sobre algo que me incomoda e é a primeira coisa que reparo involuntariamente, sim é o SORRISO. Ao longo dos meus 39 anos sempre me cuidei de normal com minha higiene bucal, nada loucamente fora dos padrões, mas algo que me dá orgulho são meus dentes, por não ter tido uma cárie e tão menos uma obturação. Nestes anos meus dentes inferiores começaram a me incomodar por estarem entortando, rejeitava o aparelho pq quase todos os profissionais falavam que eu provavelmente teria que tirar um dente para correção, isto me desanimava, portanto, não colocava o aparelho. Então minha amiga Janaína Valentim falou pra mim: vai no meu professor, tenho certeza que vc não vai sair de lá sem aparelho! E aí então fui ao encontro do meu AMIGO Léo Alcântara IONF Campos RJ e assim saí. Meu tratamento está em 2 anos, porém como não consigo ir com a frequência mensal que preciso o meu tratamento está no final já, mas em pouco mais de 1 ano eu já estaria sem ele.
