сентябрь’22 какой твой любимый город? мой, однозначно, Петербург. нет города, который так зацепил меня и засел настолько глубоко к моем сердце, что я начинаю думать о нем, вспоминать свои поездки и как было восхитительно в этом городе, когда мне очень тяжело. пересматривать все, что я сняла там, вошло в привычку сразу же, как я вернулась домой. фотокарточек огромное количество, но, все равно это число так ничтожно, по сравнению с тем, которое я могла бы сделать и за это я ругаю себя не первый год. хочется запечатлеть каждый кусочек этого города, но я, почему-то, вечно забываю взять в руки телефон или фотоаппарат и сделать это. хотя, я, наверное, знаю почему. брать телефон в руки в Петербурге не хочется абсолютно, ты просто забываешь о нём на целый день, а то и больше. и что же делать, когда надо абсолютно все сфотографировать, но телефон не хочет быть в руках? какой-то парадокс Питера у нас тут объявился, тебе не кажется? мне так, иногда, жаль, что наши глаза не могут делать фотографии, например, когда мы два раза подряд моргнём, это же было бы идеально!!! но нет, нам остаётся только ругать себя, по приезду домой, что фотографий ничтожно мало для этого восхитительного города. The sacred is not the shining thing at the end of the journey awaiting disclosure; the sacred is the journey: the celebrated departure and tearful goodbyes, the blue skies of optimism that dip in the welcoming horizons, the hint of grey in foreboding clouds, the obstacles that pepper the road with treacherous texture, the marauding doubts that steal your steps, the hallucinated masquerade that tortures your sleep, the glimpsed finish line, the exhausted arrival, and the morning after homecomings when the meaning of home needs to be reiterated again and again. One does not approach the sacred: the approach is the sacred. You might say then: well, why not just get to the point and say that the sacred is “everything”? Why go through the trouble of being specific? It is because to speak of “everything” is a lingusitic convenience that risks reinforcing the image of a static container world filled with static things with static properties. Such a world couldn’t permit the sacred to exist. Instead the “world” we live with/in is so ecstatically indeterminate in its becoming, so relationally fluid, so processually entangled, so exceeding in its promiscuity, that one must often hesitate to name it, to think of it as a “world” with finished “things”. And that there is the “sacred”, the radical incompleteness that haunts “things” and engulfs them in a murmuration of becoming that is too complex for language to represent. The fugitivity of all bodies-in-their-ongoingness. The wound on heaven’s flesh. I got my Dad’s caramel eyes, and I can still hear him singing “Brown eyed girl” to me as a kid. On days like this I ask myself when the “old” me is coming back, knowing full well it can’t ever be the same as it was. Even when my bones stop grinding, when my pulse thins, and every bud of cotton is plucked from between my temples - the weight of “sick” has hollowed out a home in me. For now I Iive inches from myself, hovering just off center. Peter Pan trying to trap his shadow. All of life *just* out of focus. I can make out the form but not the edges. Some days that’s enough, on others, the dissonance makes my ears ring.
