What a crazy time to be alive... We’ve been living full time in the MUSEROAMER for over 9 months now. It started with me breaking my leg just before leaving for Alaska, then Covid set in, lots of mechanical issues with the truck, and now record breaking devastating wild fires directly in our path/causing the air we are breathing to be extremely unhealthy. Needless to say, things aren’t quite going to plan or how we imaged. The world feels totally backwards right now and there are certainly things I wish so badly I could change, mostly I wish people weren’t suffering... This is going to sound totally insensitive, but I’m not sure we would be having a “better time” if everything was going to plan. Hear me out for a second. For me it’s a mindset thing. I grew up in a situation in which I could not affect the negative environment around me so the only peace I could find was from within. That’s not to say I didn’t struggle then and am not struggling and deeply saddened now by what’s going on in the world, BUT I’m doing my best to create a positive mindset and enjoy the journey. I hope more than anything that the content we create can somehow take the edge off or bring some light to people in dark times. Unfortunately I can’t fix the world, but I’m pretty sure I can create some light in it. Doing my best to bring love, light, and positivity into the world. It appears to have condensed into a tornado as it is quite low to the ground and had the potential to cause some damage, but we heard no reports.
