- No such thing as scrap wood! Spoon out of odd-shaped leftover from a (not nearly as interesting) bowl
- Rice cooked in bamboo cane! (Khao Larm). Thai red sticky rice, palm sugar and coconut milk poured into bamboo, and then roasted (the ends are sealed during cooking). Then split open the cane and the thin bamboo membrane holds the rice in place to hold and eat.

- I saw another post on a spoon, so here’s one I made from some scrap poplar. I designed it in Carbide Create, and made it on my Shapeoko cnc router. It’s the first time I’ve done a 2 sided object. The program isn’t really designed for stuff like that, so I had a couple hiccups, but it came out good.
