✨A MENTAL BREAK✨ I’m going to be honest, the past few weeks have been filled with some of the best parts of summer, but as we have gotten closer and closer to September, I’ve had some anxiety about the past, present and future. Am I doing enough to get myself where I need to be? Am I making the right choices to be successful? In the wake of a pandemic, am I missing out on my 20s? Am I doing enough on this account to help people? Could I be doing more? Planning more? Filming or researching more? Why haven’t I danced in two months? Transparency is key, and even though these may seem like small setbacks, they have taken a great toll on me in the last couple of days. I had to take a step back and remind myself we are all on our own path, making our own choices based off of how different our lives are. I haven’t been active on this account in the past two months because I’ve been fortunate enough to be visiting family, and working at jobs I love. I haven’t invested a lot into my business because I have had the privilege to be spending time with my friends and cottaging. I need to realize everything will fall into place eventually. We only have one life, so if there’s a break in reality- enjoy it....🤍. Disclaimer about the vid: I can now consistently hit the ball and I call that progress in my golf game. Happy International Rabbit Day! In Connecticut, we have two species of cottontail rabbits, the eastern and the New England - but only the New England cottontail is native. Breeding occurs from March through September. Females do not dig a nest burrow, instead they scratch out a slight depression in the ground lined with fur and dry grass. Cottontails usually have 2 to 4 litters per year, with 3 to 8 young per litter. Young rabbits are born blind, hairless and helpless but grow rapidly, leaving the nest after only 2 to 3 weeks. To avoid attracting predators, mother rabbits do not stay with their kits. They only visit the nest once or twice a day, usually around dawn and dusk, for quick feedings. We always fear such things, having or trying to have a certain image of ourselves in front of people, in front of everyone who knows us. Its ok to stay away from unhealthy, abusive voices that pull you down, situations that give you bitter experiences of life, its always a good idea to protect your sanity before anything else. So, today, spend time with yourself, try to introspect and contemplate the things in your life, try to delve deeper into your inner being and connect with the things that make you feel saner and happier and also think about those things in life that you could have escaped or can escape so that you prevent yourself from curing yourself due to a certain difficulty or obstruction in the coming future.
