Scientifically speaking, ultra-processed foods is a relatively new concept, developed by researchers in Brazil. They’ve developed 4 broad levels of processing that range from the least processed (edible parts of plants and animals), to the most processed. This most-processed group is labelled ultra-processed. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐫𝐚-𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧? It’s food that’s been created from ingredients using a range of industrial systems. These ingredients have themselves been processed to make them suitable for industrial use. In fact, many of them are used only in factory processes. To be classified as ultra-processed, the food needs to have gone through many industrial steps. Often, it starts by breaking down wholefoods and animal products into component parts like sugar, oil, fats, protein, starch or fibre. Using these components, food products are built that contain small amounts wholefoods, if any at all. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧? The ingredients are assembled and processed for consumption using industrial methods like extrusion, moulding and frying. Other, non-food derived additives are often used as well. These include emulsifiers, flavours, colours, and preserving agents. These are usually formulated to make the resulting product ultra-tasty but can also be added to improve texture or increase shelf-life. 𝐈𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐚𝐝? Absolutely not! Not all processed food is ultra-processed. Even more importantly, some foods must be processed to make them safe for consumption. Methods like bottling, canning, drying, fermenting, cooking, smoking, pasteurisation and baking are not by themselves unhealthy. It’s about context. There are some ultra-processed foods that, in moderation, have a neutral or, in some cases, positive effect on your health. Margarine is a great example, another is some breakfast cereals. Hey everyone! Sorry for the delay in getting this out. I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to go about this week. My husband and I spent all weekend indoors, and as one prone to headaches, the smoke is really not my friend. It looks like the air should start to clear a bit Thursday afternoon, so I’ve decided the best thing is to just be open FRIDAY & SATURDAY this week. . I will be posting a new set of offerings for the week as it will now need to get condensed to the two days. (look for it tomorrow am) As for breads, I’ll at least have Sourdough & Cinnamon Raisin bread on FRIDAY and Sandwich & French bread on SATURDAY, so you can start planning for that! :) . In the meantime, I’m using my time at home for some extra fun in the kitchen. Tonight I played with a new toy making some fun pasta shapes. Tomorrow I’m planning some bread testing. Pulse pastas are a game changer! 🍝 They’ve been around for a while but if you haven’t heard of them - they’re a type of pasta made from the dried seeds of legume plants. They’re great alternative to regular pastas as they’re a fantastic source of plant protein and dietary fibre, both nutrients that are super important for every aspect of your health. By simply swapping to a legume based pasta, you can achieve approx. 50% of the recommended daily intake of protein and fibre in just one meal (depending on your requirements). It’s also a great way to sneak legumes into your diet if they’re not something you consume regularly. Once the sauce has been added you’ll hardly be able to tell the difference from regular pasta, and it will also help to keep you feeling full for longer. ПЕРВЫЙ БОЙ ПРОИГРАН, НО НЕ ВОЙНА ⠀ Вчера после 7ми дневной борьбы и абсолютного не понимания, что же надо ФБ и почему он не даёт нам запустить рекламу, нам все таки удалось это сделать. Но!!! ⠀ ⭕️ это чек-лист по сториз и он не совсем подходит для темы упаковки; ⭕️ его фб пропустил, потому что есть сайт и трафик уходил бы туда; ⭕️ собирать базу мы бы могли только по почте и догонять e-mail рассылкой, а это не настолько эффективно, насколько я хочу этого; ⭕️ это длинные продажи, а мне надо короткие. Те без возможности перехода в инст, человек теряется и врядли ты его дожмёшь по почте, сильно холодный трафик; ⭕️ настраивать чек-лист на лидогенерацию или в вотсап это овербред. У меня был такой уже экспирианс и мне это не понравилось; ⭕️ приходит сильно не ЦА и ты сливаешь на них время, силы, нервы и деньги; ⭕️ это был чужой фб и чужая карта оплаты; ⭕️ это был креатив вообще без упоминания меня и моего проекта. ⠀ Зато: ⠀ ✅ мы узнали какую рекламу он пропускает и возможно изменить продукт для регистраций; ✅ мы немного узнали алгоритм фб; ✅ мы поняли как таргетируются конкуренты и какие ресурсы нужно создавать для успешной и эффективной рекламы; ✅ бизнес - это поле боя и твой соперник не всегда человек, что ещё хуже; ✅ поняла прелесть трафик-менеджера и лидгенщика; ✅ отличный способ рассматривать все возможные способы продвижения, пока создаём ресурсы; ✅ звоночек пересмотреть позиционирование. ⠀ Нет худа без добра. Мы многое осознали и поняли над чем работать. Мне нужно ещё пару ноутбуков))) кто понял, тот понял)) ⠀ Ещё раз убедилась, что таргетологи это волшебники и мазохисты одновременно. ⠀ Немного подслила бюджет, что бы это все понять - знания стоят денег. Я заплатила за: начать действовать, а не «все само как-то получится». ⠀ А самое интересное во всей этой ситуации - СОВЕТЫ ПО НАСТРОЙКЕ ТАРГЕТА РАЗДАВАЛИ ВСЕ, КТО НЕ ТАРГЕТОЛОГИ. Очередной раз поняла, что советуют те, кто абсолютный нолик в теме. ⠀ Выводы всей этой эпопее: слушай только профессионалов и людей с опытом и успехом в этой теме; тестируй все гипотезы; смотри страху в глаза; делай до победного; имей вариант от а до я; знания и опыт стоят денег; победить можно даже искусственный интеллект фб и марка))) - @_alexa_alexa_ on Instagram
