When South African prog-rockers Hawk broke internationally in 1973, it came with a name change and the world got to know them as Jo’burg Hawk. Moreover, the band got traction in some unexpected markets with Philips in Colombia releasing their sophomore album Africa She Too Can Cry with the Spanish title El Gavilan De Johannesburg. But the non-album single “Orang Otang” travelled even further with unique artwork and spelling variations popping up from France to the Netherlands to Italy (pictured above). The band copped the song from Ramsay Mackay and the original recording of the track and companion pieces by Freedom’s Children with the Malombo Jazz Makers in 1971 is the subject of SHARP-FLAT’s next release. Craigh na Dun features a base of rain-dampened heather and chamomile flowers-- gentle and enduring, with heart notes of sage and fresh rosemary, with the faint aroma of an apothecarys shed, with other drying spices hanging from the ceiling. The face oil is made of a combination of eight different oils (which you can read more about in our Face Oils highlight) and this will also have rosemary and other plant extracts to boost in helping reduce inflammation and redness and soothe chronic skin conditions. JOY DIVISION con CLOSER: un epitafio hacia la eternidad 🎧🌟🖤 Para cuando se grabó este disco histórico, en 12 dias durante marzo de 1980, la situación en el seno de JD se encontraba en un exasperante punto de dualidad: el grupo era una máquina sonora que se llevaba todo por delante, con una oscuridad y cuota parte de desesperación notable que lo hacía más morbosamente atractivo aún, y a punto de tomar el mercado norteamericano de un solo golpe con una inminente gira a bordo de su discazo debut Unknown Closer, lanzado sólo unos meses antes. Pero en paralelo, el estado de salud de su cantante con sus ataques de epilepsia y el pozo depresivo en el que se encontraba sumido -y la intriga que ese péndulo anímico traía consigo- lo ponía todo en duda no habiendo certeza alguna de solución de continuidad. En ese contexto tan poco proyectable los de Manchester grabaron Closer, dos meses antes de un suicidio que dejó pasmados a todos y que los obligó a una profunda introspección personal y profesional. Sarà Starfield, la misteriosa e nuova IP fantascientifica, ad aprire le porte della next gen per la software house, e uscirà molto prima rispetto a TES VI. Secondo le uscite di questa generazione è possibile immaginare quando usciranno i titoli per la prossima. Fallout 4 uscì nel 2015, a distanza di due anni dalluscita di Xbox One e PS4, giusto in tempo per poter ampliare lutenza su queste console. La situazione potrebbe ripetersi, magari vedendo Starfield uscire fra la fine del 2021 e la prima metà del 2022. Mentre quando tocca a TES VI ? Bethesda fece uscire nel 2016 Skyrim Special Edition e nel 2017 Skyrim VR e Fallout 4 VR, e si è dovuto aspettare solo il 2018 per veder uscire Fallout 76, lesperienza online della saga post-apocalittica. Quindi, se Hines ha riferito sui social che ci vorrà molto tempo per vedere TES VI, non è da escludere che esca 2/3 anni dopo Starfield e quindi fra il 2024 ed il 2025, in poche parole 13/14 anni dopo Skyrim. My obsession with Anthony Moores shelved 1976 Virgin Records album Out has finally manifested in its first ever vinyl release, coming OUT November 2020 via Drag City! After many discussions with Mr. Moore and taking the album to various labels to find/generate interest, I was finally able (thanks to Emmett Kelly 🙌) to liaise Anthony with Drag City who took the ball and ran with it. The album, recorded in 1975, did actually see a sketchy release in the 90s as a cd and with new album art, but this is the first time it will be on vinyl and with the original album art by Hipgnosis. Vorige week werd ik gevraagd een cover te spelen in de 00’s week van Qmusic. Ik koos voor ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ van Keane. Ik vond dit altijd een hele mooie song...voor mij gaat het over het (her)vinden van jezelf...het simpele opnieuw bijzonder vinden...je oorsprong herontdekken. Ik had pas de avond ervoor tijd om goed die lijst met songs te kijken...en dus best nerveus toen we het speelden! Maar soms grijpen dingen op een magische wijze in elkaar. Ik ben super blij dat dit moment gevangen is en door de vele reacties en vragen heb ik besloten mijn versie van dit prachtige liedje uit te brengen.
